  1. Where would the Thailand news be without @vinapu and his numerous posts, and then @Olddaddy with his hundreds of threads? Two guys devoted to keeping the forums going. Kudos!
  2. Ka-ching!
  3. Well, once again I say that I regret the remark It was not good thinking on my part. I apologize.
  4. I am surprised that @reader would quote my comment an hour after I withdrew it. It was my intention that it be ignored since I cannot delete it.
  5. You just started posting here, at least under this name. Your remark is out of line. This is a community with a long and glorious history that has allowed you in only to see you trash whole peoples and individual posters.
  6. Thanks for the correcttve. I withdraw the remark.
  7. The cab driver was pimping his son? Wow.
  8. Because it could be their last Pride parade before China invades?
  9. I don't think I suggested forgiving Trump for his crimes in the Alvin Bragg prosecution. There are two ways to go after wrongdoing. Civil allows for damages and fines, but no jail. Obviously criminal allows for jail, but my point is that Trump will not serve a day even if convicted. If I am right, civil is then better. The proof is not beyond a reasonable doubt, but by a preponderance of the evidence. So hit Trump with massive damages and penalties...by a preponderance of the evidence. A criminal case by Bragg will be, and is being, overshadowed by the bigger prosecutions.
  10. Those were great days. I wonder why they changed.
  11. I was in London once and discovered it was Gay Pride Day, so went to see the parade and loved it!
  12. Istanbul is advertising itself as "the new cool."
  13. A stripper in Porto Alegre once was the handsomest/sexiest guy I had seen in Brazil. A real treat to watch him on stage! I tipped him, but he wasn't sticking around.
  14. I fail to see what @Leroy82said that was so wrong. I went through the entire thread.
  15. Today I thought that I had completed the task. My flights were booked and I used my remaining Lifemiles to book hotels. Finished! Then I checked the flights to see if they were offering seat assignments, only to learn that the Panana/Rio flight had been canceled. I went through the hell of the Lifemiles phone system and finally got someone who barely spoke English. He said he couldn't just rebook the canceledd segment, he had to rebook the LAX segment too. What he offered me was horrible with a long stay in Panama. He wouldn't tell me if we were still booked in Business Class, so I excused myself and said I couldn't decide now. What I was hoping for was to call back and get someone who spoke better English. Then I saw on FlyerTalk that one shouldn't bother fixing cancellations until very close to departure as the flights were likely to change again. I regret ever becoming involved with Lifemiles!
  16. Having known the Pattaya of days past, I wonder what the value of a current visit would be. (Not monetarily.) It used to be quite fun. Chaing Mai may be a better side trip these days. But that's just a guess.
  17. I am glad to hear good things about Copa as we are flying their Business Class this summer.
  18. I was at the old Twilight one night and had not picked anyone. The mamasan was not happy. So, sure that he was unavailable, I pointed to a cute kitchen worker and said I like him. Minutes later he was at my side.
  19. It took me a while, but I soon began remembering guys I hired on early trips to Thailand. So I should not be surprised when someone else does!
  20. Women at a gay sauna? I had never heard of this happening. I hope it was a one-time thing.
  21. @vinapu "Guy I wanted based on their Line feed, Ten was not available this week so I settled on Noom whom I saw in Dec 2001 in Sabaidee spa " I am impressed. I doubt I would remember a guy I hired over 20 years ago! And he still looks good: "What a hunk, what a body !" 🙂
  22. So if one did take a mb taxi with a very hot driver who let you hold on tight, how long would your ride be?
  23. It continues. I have spent hours trying to book a domestic ticket using Lifemiles. They were to call me to collect the taxes on the ticket but did not. So I called them and it took 43 minutes, mostly on hold, just to pay the tickets so the ticket gets confirmed. I sure hope that the flights go better.
  24. Has anyone stayed there? Details? Is it worth being close to Lagoa? From what I can tell, it is a revamped Comfort Inn.
  25. The patent expired in 2018. https://www.healthline.com/health/generic-cialis
