  1. I still have a photo of me with my arm around Lukas Ridgeston when he appeared in NYC. And I won't forget flying with him and Johann from NYC to SF on a red eye. We all slept! (sort of togther! Just different rows!)
  2. Do guys wear shorts in this warmer weather?
  3. You are a lucky man, @numazu
  4. So an American T-Mobile phone works fine for Brazil without a local sim card? You can make local calls and Uber requests? Sorry, but I am ignorant on this issue.
  5. Is Ambiance Hotel still okay as a place to stay? I used to like it and stayed there several times. As for the old beach, there was once a pedophile section. I only realized this as I was walking by and a young boy was on the lap of an old man asking him if he wanted to fuck. You don't see that anymore, which is a good thing!
  6. Why?
  7. Just so I am clear, I understand a not guilty verdict. The jury decided that the evidence to convict Spacey could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. That doesn't mean they think Spacey didn't do it, it just wasn't proven. I have no idea what they think, but Spacey being acquitted is not Spacey being cleared.
  8. A finding of 'not guilty," desirable as it may be, is not a finding of innocence.

I loved the Millenium Hilton hotel on the Chao Praya river in Bangkok. Maybe a few nights there enjoying the river and its surroundings would be a good diversion. I could watch the boat traffic for hours.
  10. The Dandy Daan doesn't do a great breakfast? Hmm. That's the heart of my day foodwise when traveling in Asia as I am a midwestern guy.

Sure, I know it has been discussed before, but I would like to break up my Bangkok stay by taking a long weekend to see somewhere else. Convenience is a factor. Pattaya is one possibility, but I have been there so many times and find it tacky. What other possibilities exist? I have been to Chaing Mai and Phuket. Any ideas? Not sure that attractive guys will be a big attraction...
  13. I wonder if you will have any competition.
  14. No matter the price, after reading about the joy of cashew chicken at Foodland, I am going to try it on my next visit. I will ask for the Vinapu special!
  15. @Bravo- "i love how arena has a unique vibe. I would describe it as oily, sweaty, mechanic, gym vibe. This aint a romantic boyfriend restaurant. Your shirtless oiled up car mechanic is here to pound you and you say yes sir and pay him anyway." What am apt description!
  16. Is it really a "drink price?" Or is it the admission to the show price that comes with a drink?
  17. Someone so worried about the risk of infection is better off staying home.
  18. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza early on. I can't remember what it was called then. But the elevators had no A/C, which made for some warm rides.
  19. Is it so hard to imagine Thai guys not wanting to be sex masseurs? Legitimate massage has its place.
  20. I really like Le Meridien. Great breakfast buffet too.
  21. You're going to Brazii and you don't speak Spanish? Horrors! But then, Brazilians speak Portuguese. Some can get by in Spanish.
  22. My visa expires days before my next trip to Brazil...which is before October 1st.
  23. On my first visit to Thailand, it was 300 short time, 400 if especially hot.It was 22 baht to the dollar then. I hope the Brasilians don't catch on.
  24. ...are men. Thus called masseurs! Not giving you a hard time as this is a common mistake, but women don't work these places.
  25. I sure like to be physically fit.
