  1. So I went to gayguides.com to find a list of gay bars in New York City. Much to my surprise, there are none. At least that was the result of my search. I entered "bars" and "New York City." Shouldn't that have come up with a list?
  2. I like the Windsor Miramar, but have never tried to bring in a guest.
  3. It's so much hassle. I prefer to stay home.
  4. Bangkok 8 is well worth reading for fans of Thailand.
  5. A Washington State Trooper told the governor to kiss his ass, he wasn't getting vaccinated. He is now dead from Covid. https://nypost.com/2022/01/29/washington-trooper-who-defied-state-vaccine-mandate-and-told-gov-to-kiss-my-a-dies-from-covid-19/
  6. I am in my 70's and have had no problem with the sauna guys.
  7. No, I only log in when I am on the site.
  8. In the upper right corner, my user name and password are stored. For years I have used it to sign in. But now I get a page saying that "something is wrong" and I am referred to a new page with my stored information. That works, I can sign in there, but why the change? what is the "something" that went wrong?
  9. @vinapu Is the restaurant at Foodland really bad?
  10. @readerHappy New Year to you too.
  11. I watched the original 1961 film yesterday, and liked it at least as much as the new one.
  12. I saw West Side Story this afternoon and I was not disappointed. The old songs were well-performed by the new cast. The singing and dancing was fun. The Puerto Ricans had little charisma, but I was starstruck by Ansel Elgort as Tony. He did a great job. Sadly, after the film wrapped, he was accused of causing pain to a sexual partner several years ago. Naturally, she waited to say anything until he had a big movie role.
  13. Kudos to all making the trip. I won't be, but the idea of quarantine in the first 24 hours is a big turn off since I can rarely sleep when I first arrive. Quarantine me the second day! (j/k)
  14. I am so happy to see the posts from the travelers who have made it to Thailand. Thanks, guys!
  15. If you look for trouble, you will find it. I didn't, and had safe trips on several occasions.
  16. There simply is no evidence yet that the COVID vaccine does or does no react to this new variant. They say we will know in a couple of weeks after studies are done.
  17. I sure don't want to go back to the shelter in place style of living. But then, I don't want COVID either. I think traveling will take a back seat. Again.
  18. Ogasms is missing an R. Is KK missing a K? 😀
  19. Brazilians are getting jabbed despite their president's admonishments. There is some good news: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/bolsonaro-covid-vaccine-brazil_n_619c3cf9e4b0ae9a42a4fafd

    Thai Pass

The Washington Post must read this forum! Here's a summary of the rules for travel to Thailand: https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/tips/thailand-travel-open-americans/
  21. I feed my dog turkey rather than beef.
  22. Thirty US dollars for a piece of paper!
  23. Reading these threads when Thailand might or might not open is dizzying! I only like to go to Thailand in the first two weeks of January, maybe late December. But it sounds as if even though the country might be open then, it could also be dead as tourism waits to ratchet up. Plus, if I go this season, @TotallyOz will not be there, having announced a holiday vacation some time ago. Does any one disagree? This could be a good time to go? (Anywhere from December 20 to January12th.)
