  1. I believe you mean the CAB set fares. The FAA has enough difficulties coping with their actual regulated responsibilities. This course set some 25 years ago is still reaping unpredicted results. Everything shiny is not gold. Best regards. RA1
  2. If the price of oil stays the same or continues to drop, the biggest cost for US airlines will be labor. Management has always complained about this and will continue to do so. Poor management will continue to be the largest contributor to bottom line. Silly how deregulation has led to inefficiencies, isn't it? Anyone remember when paying customers were treated like those responsible for profits? Not anytime lately. Best regards, RA1
  3. Does the guy come with the seats? Best regards, RA1
  4. We are all heathens/sinners, no? Best regards, RA1
  5. I meant it as a general observation. Thanks for the link. Best regards, RA1
  6. Stan the man + Red Schoendienst for two. Surely you listened to KMOX as a kid? Best regards, RA1
  7. Gigantic devices (and others) such as the above are interesting but I am immediately reminded of "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?" In other words, in some ways, we have expanded these from the sublime to the ridiculous. Until such as Hubble, we were constantly constrained by the atmosphere (as well as Earthly lights, etc.). I dare say an ordinary telescope in outer space might be more useful than the most powerful earthbound one. Best regards, RA1
  8. I did not realize AS was an aficionado of a famous candy bar. Now if the reference was to Candy Barr, I would be less surprised. Best regards, RA1 Is it not truly amazing that many folks are quite ignorant about many things?
  9. It is really difficult to even think one might know how the Constitution should be interpreted, never mind how it will be interpreted. Best regards, RA1
  10. Yes, but if the average person only lived to 32, one needed to hurry, didn't one? Best regards, RA1
  11. I am not sure what this might mean. After all religion is a matter of faith, not necessarily "knowledge". Best regards. RA1
  12. You mean let's go to French Lick? Best regards, RA1
  13. Just do a "reverse" refugee trip from southern Florida to Cuba. Surely they will welcome you with open arms. Best regards, RA1
  14. Why would anyone think this is a headline from the Onion? Best regards, RA1

My insurance agent once told me it took $100 to master a new game. This was back in the day when it was 25 cents to pay for one play. Best regards, RA1
  16. My goodness, AS, as noted previously you do seem to enjoy visiting the "rear" end and its effluent, so to speak. Various historical furniture is interesting but not comforting. On various hunting trips ( I no longer hunt) in the past, I have "enjoyed" the assistance of a cross bar which was simply a 2X4 upright piece of wood with a short cross piece. This allowed one to not simply squat while "going in the woods" but have some measure of "control" of the situation. Best regards, RA1
  17. MsGuy- Excuse me but why should I bite you? Just curious. A nibble here and there, OK. A taste here and there, OK. But, again, why should I bite you? I am not a vampire or any such. Shall we not just get along? Best regards, RA1
  18. Who among us has custody of our train of thoughts? "Why is a raven like a writing desk?" Best regards, RA1

OK, so now I know who you are and where you are. All good. Best regards, RA1

Any thoughts about the absence of BO et al for this rally? Best regards, RA1
  21. So, no one was watching the pot? Best regards, RA1
  22. Too late. Best regards, RA1
  23. I hope you (and everyone else) never contract smallpox but I believe it still to exist and be dangerous to us all. Best regards, RA1
  24. MsGuy- As I am sure you very well know, smallpox has NOT been eradicated, only somewhat controlled. As you state, the "cheaper" refrigerants are the best and not nearly as dangerous as many have supposed. OK, I will just go to NZ and fry myself with UV. Best regards, RA1
