Gay Tel Aviv – Where Nothing Is Uncut! A Boytoy City Guide
RA1 replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Africa
Isn't EurAsia one big land mass? Even Africa would be connected if man hadn't cut the Suez Canal, wouldn't it? The point being, geographically, it is all (mostly) connected. Politically and culturally, like all man made artifices, it is to quote MsGuy, a jumble. Best regards, RA1 -

Fine, but, what sayeth you? Best regards, RA1 -
As a life long citizen on Memphis, I certainly remember the day MLK was killed. A dark day for all. I am very sorry to say that I personally know some who regard the day to celebrate is April 4. It was an interesting time to be here and to be alive. An immediate curfew was instituted and National Guard troops were stationed here and there. There were demonstrations here and all over the US with violence and criminal activity (looting) somewhat rampant. I personally believe that the reason that downtown (and other parts) Memphis was not burned to the ground was that a freak snow storm covered the city with snow and several days of cold weather. Snow is pretty unusual in Memphis but an April snow storm is more than unusual. MLK was not a saint. He cheated on his wife and had other "peccadillos" but he certainly was an influence upon the US "scene" that likely needs to be repeated. Best regards, RA1

While this is true there must be more to it. Isn't there a possible way to "enable" folks in a more postivie and proactive way than merely "allowing" various intoxicants/drugs? Support groups? I certainly agree that we cannot legislate "morality" but I see little reason to "promote" potentially harmful drugs either. Happy medium, somewhere? Is a happy medium a soothsayer who is "almost" gay? Best regards, RA1 -
Its not wine making, is it? Best regards, RA1

I saw an article that claimed the 787 battery box did its' job by containing the battery and contents. Still, there is a problem with the battery which might be the design of the battery, the controlling circuitry or something wrong with the recharging methodology. As AS has pointed out, there are "good" batteries of this type available. One can hope Boeing quickly figures this all out and the aircraft can get back into the air. The specifications and performance are very impressive but so are the ones for the A380 and it has had its' share not only of vendor problems but those "generated" by the factory itself. I wonder how they came up with the name "Zero Dark Thirty"? It is military slang and I have always heard it as "O Dark Thirty". Zero is correct terminology for that number in the alpha numeric lexicon so this is an attempt to "correct" slang? Best regards, RA1

It would be funny but there are procedures to deal with same. If any, never mind all 3, things happened to be true he is so deep in the closet there would have to be an annex to house him. Don't hold your breath. Best regards, RA1

I hope no one minds if I do an aviation saying. Helicopters don't actually fly. They are so ugly the earth repels them. I liked all the others. Best regards, RA1

Didn't that job used to be called the receptionist, perhaps with collateral duties? I have known "real" office managers and they did much more than suggested herein. They also delegated most of what was described. Regardless, still humorous. Best regards, RA1

My only claim to fame is writing letters to various authors telling them about their factual errors regarding aviation. So far, everyone has written in reply. I suppose they "take it" more gracefully than some posters or maybe I come off differently to them vs. posters. Really I don't claim to know everything about aviation but some of it has rubbed off after all these years and thousands of hours of flying, etc. Best regards, RA1

I have never received the warning. PC + IE. However, I continue to be "automatically" logged on without doing so and still am not able to get a post to "take" about half the time the first time I try to do so. I guess we all have glitches of one description or another. Best regards, RA1

I agree that the beginnings of books, especially with an author new to oneself, can be tedious but, if they grab you right away, very likely you are in for a real treat and one continuous reading session. Best regards, RA1

Do you also go to the last page of a book and read it first? Best regards, RA1

My compulsion isn't spreading untrue rumors or other prevarications. Fun is fun but there are limits even on an anonymous MB. Did you get snow today and did you enjoy it? Best regards, RA1

I have to think rimchair is gloats. How did you enjoy your trip in a non-existent 650 when there were none delivered yet? The 787 definitely has a vendor problem which I would like to think would be solved by using entirely or more US vendors but that seems to be not PC. Boeing will take some economic and PR hits over this but the 787 is no Comet, to quote a poster from the "other" MB. The issues are not huge and not unmanageable. They will be fixed and soon. LOT has also grounded the 787 to be up to date. Grounding just means fix it before further flight which might be today or very, very soon. The Apollo flights likely should have been grounded but then we never would have gone to the moon, would we? Airline travel is nowhere nearly as dangerous. It just is not perfect and never will be. Are you willing to drive to the mall? That is VERY dangerous, statistically speaking. Best regards, RA1

I just read the comic strips as the good Lord intended, left to right and top to bottom. And, they are the last thing I read in the paper. After reading the so called news and then the editorials and op-ed pieces and finally the letters to the editor, I am in need of some comic relief. In other words I wish to leave the "news delivery outlet" with a good attitude. Best regards, RA1

What, the Panthers are out of the running? I was kind of hoping for another game between Denver and New England but it is not to be. Best regards, RA1 What will the line be? More important than who is playing.
