Who is upset? I am merely reporting about an interview I heard last night. Aren't you suggesting the same thing as the interviewee, namely that we all pay in one way or another for lawsuits, especially frivolous ones? The passengers are getting a refund, a free cruise, a ride home + a hotel stay + $500. Is that similar to the couple of thousand you mentioned? Do you actually read anything before you post or just post and like Pelosi says, we can read it after we pass it to see what it says? Best regards, RA1

I may be sorry to bring this up again but I happened to listen to an interview last night of a passenger on this cruise. She said she wondered what ship those passengers were on that were complaining about food, etc. She said there was always plenty of food, the crew did their duty and explained how to "take care" of sanitary situations. Of course, it was inconvenient but she thought such folks were just trying to get a bigger settlement. Imagine that, US citizens going over the top in order to get something for nothing. Tsk, tsk. Best regards, RA1
  3. I think it is shameful that BO is using "scare tactics" in describing the potential effects of a modest budget cut. Isn't it just a reduction in the amount of increase? Isn't where the budget is cut exactly up to BO? Therefore does that mean he is choosing to close airports, reduce food stamps, etc.? Of course, the bureaucracies are not helping their own credibility by also using the same scare tactics. But then what government agency ever "thinks" about what they are doing in relation to the benefit of the average US citizen? First they think about protecting their own empire. There are at least two possible remedies. One being the executive branch which now seems to be leading the scare war and the other being Congress which has the spine of a wet noodle. Best regards, RA1

    No doubt. Best regards, RA1
  5. Who can reasonably complain about a snow penis? I am willing to accept any and all peni into my environment. This one was US normal, was it not? It was circumsized and enormous as "expected" for OUR purposes. Of course, I would not reject such which was not circumsized but that was not "offered" was it? Sigh. All is OK. Best regards, RA1
  6. All this "stuff" started long after I was not flying 2-3 times a week on the airlines. Therefore I do not have millions of miles or points that I would have today were I traveling as I did back in the 1970's. I am not envious of travelers today. They may have points and miles but they also have TSA and "other" inconveniences with which to deal. It has been forecast from the beginning of miles and points that eventually those contingent liabilites would have to be dealt with and not necessarily to the consumer's advantage. Does that surprise you? It should not. In order for these companies to survive they will have to shed those liablitites however they can. As you have no doubt noticed, they have been offering various "perks" and "rewards" that do not include air travel or stays at hotels, at least not hotels with any penache. In addition to the above, there is no first class on the airlines as there was before deregulation. Ditto for hotel service. I am sorry for the decline in everything but that is how I see today's transportation and hotel situation. Best regards, RA1

Yes, we use free range chickens but I can't tell you the secret ingredients. Best regards, RA1
  11. Actually I am a proponent of overt carry so that the miscreants can see that I am armed. I have no intention of bullying anyone or threathening anyone but I am in favor of repressing the opposite. If simply showing force is sufficient then we all are happy or at least reconciled to no violence, a good thing. In the meantime, if concealed carry is the only option, then it will do. Best regards, RA1

That is a problem with modern life, it is mostly all digitized. Therefore, when our prehensile digits have run amok, our entire life experience is at risk. I shall not go into binary coding and the like. We all know that two can tango and fewer is not as much fun. Best regards, RA1

I have more than one email address for business and for personal reasons. I do not ordinarily open any email from a site I do not recognize or if not recommended by another. I know that is not a complete guarantee of anything but is a small step towards minimizing intrusions. Thanks for the explanation. I have no problem with this approach as explained. Best regards, RA1
  17. As you know it was not necessary for MS or any of the other early decliners to ratify the amendment. It became the law of the land when 75% of the state legislations did so. Perhaps an interesting fact is that it would have taken fewer total "votes" in 1865 than it would today, simply because there were fewer states in 1865, only 36 I think. The 33 who ratified it immediately would not be 75% of the 50 states we have today. Maybe MS's vote does count for something. Best regards, RA1

Of course, how silly of me to think that within is similar to out of. However, what now is a product that is conveniently packaged for consumer use is not always as expected, is it? In other words, cum in a bottle may or may not be "sqeezeable" is it? My squeeze is always squeezable. Best regards, RA1
  20. Charlie- I think you are correct. What does your "theory" say about other stats? Any and all must be taken with a LARGE grain of salt? There are no actual "facts"; everything is a theory, isn't it? Best regards, RA1
