SouthernMan, pitch-perfect! If the juice rises above ankle level, clearly TY can shut the tap. But meanwhile I'm with you on all points.
  2. It all goes too fast and too soon. I regret we never met; you're a rare soul. Sincere best wishes faring forward.
  3. >you know I >like androgeny. ...long live! My romances are all with men but more things than that get me hard. My favorite closet case, Wallace Stevens, had it thus: ...He had to choose. But it was not a choice Between excluding things. It was not a choice Between, but of. He chose to include the things That in each other are included, the whole, The complicate, the amassing harmony... http://home.earthlink.net/~scofield99/data...otesSupreme.htm

  6. Here's what people were Googling in 2006: http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/zeitgeist2006.html At least one escort-related hook -- under the heading "Scandal US," the 6th-most-googled item was "clay aiken scandal"... http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/zeitge...06/current.html ...beating out Haggard et al.

eBay is a never-ending trove of surprises... http://cgi.ebay.com/SHIRTLESS-GAY-PHOTO-CU...bayphotohosting (Needless to say, this was as much a surprise to the subject as to anyone.)
  8. This is not a very practical suggestion as it will break the bank. But the Chateau Marmont is hard to beat. For service. For atmosphere - celeb sightings in the bar and so forth. And for discretion - somehow one (and one's guests) can come and go with absolutely no feeling of being observed. The celebs again value it for that. Although the bungalow where Belushi snuffed it may be a bit too much atmosphere. I can vouch for the new(ish) Viceroy in Santa Monica too. Although not quite Boy Central, it was not difficult to get guys to come over there.

marc, had no idea this was taken at Campus! Make the old slit unpin you so we can all rise for a proper standing O. To liberte, egalite, fraternite! Whoops, wrong revolution. Hats off to management here for a new standard in integrity, authenticity, transparency.

  11. >The "charming deej"--lol. As politicians say, "my esteemed opponent." Or in Britain, "the right honorable gentleman."
  12. >I think Adam Smnith and I are going to vote as a team on this >one! No question. Just pull the same lever twice -- once for you, once for me! (I was thinking of some crack about Lucky and me being the ideal pair in a 3-legged race. But the imagery is too perverse.) In addition to the 57 varieties named above, I think there has to be the category of BEST ESCORT ON THE PLANET. Now whom would I nominate for that...? :+

Kissing is the first must for me. As Andre put it on the other forum, "sex without kissing is boring." To say the least. And Barry has the rest of it absolutely right: >And none of this "dry" kissing. >I like to make out. Few things are more frustrating to me than dry or very shallow kissing.
  14. >optimise the vulcanization process. Footnote from a once-almost-chemist here: Some of the chemicals that catalyze vulcanization are quite toxic. If they get this wrong, Love Canal will have a whole new meaning.
  15. I would think he would have been the ultimate client. If he ever had any money. By way of full disclosure, I ought to add that in freshman year of college, discovering the lines "only let me eat / The rich brown globes of sacramental meat" late one night deep in the library stacks prompted me to out myself and start pursuing the line of desire that I really wanted.
  16. This is not about escorting, but close enough. I just stumbled onto this moderately fascinating web site: http://www.infopt.demon.co.uk/homoeros.htm#contents What especially grabbed me was the page on Aleister Crowley, author of such as: Go into the Highways and Hedges, and compel them to come in Let my fond lips but drink thy golden wine, My bright-eyed Arab, only let me eat The rich brown globes of sacramental meat Steaming and firm, hot from their home divine, And let me linger with thy hands in mine, And lick the sweat from dainty dirty feet Fresh with the loose aroma of the street, And then anon I'll glue my mouth to thine. This is the height of joy, to lie and feel Thy spicèd spittle trickle down my throat; This is more pleasant than at dawn to steal Toward lawns and sunny brooklets, and to gloat Over earth's peace, and hear in ether float Song of soft spirits into rapture peal. "Aleister Crowley once had one of his long poems published in a national newspaper, of which the first letter in each line spelled out the words "The Virgin Mary fills my heart with desire / But arseholes set my prick on fire." A week later he sent the newspaper an explanatory clarification of his trick, which they declined to print. Such was the essentially mischievous nature of the Great Beast, the man the newspapers called The Wickedest Man in the World." http://www.infopt.demon.co.uk/crowley.htm How can you not love the guy?
  17. >have begun to sift through some CND brokers. You ought not to have given me that geography lesson. Now you risk having a couch-crasher any random weekend, once you snag the subject property. I will let TY have the couch when his back gives out from sleeping on the floor. Or from other strenuous activity. }(

    >This esoteric thread Lucky is the master of the meta-post. Posts about posting. I remarked to TY one time that in some Elizabethan literature, a trope meant to represent perfection was two mirrors facing each other. In that respect, I strive with Lucky to reach perfection here.

    >My dear TY, I have always said that intercourse is the most >important thing; whether social or another form. Elegantly put. Our communal restraint is remarkable -- no one else jumped on this invitation to the dance. The second most memorable words of Claus von Bulow (after "You have no idea"): "I require some intercourse with the world." By way of explaining to the mortified Sunny why he wanted to take up -- horrors! -- WORK.
  20. Another variable is location. In the U.S., NYC is the most likely place I know to find escorts willing to spring into action late at night on short notice. My limited experience in LA is that advance notice, preferably day before, works best. At least for escorts advertising on rentboy, m4rn, etc. Chat rooms, craigslist and of course street trade are all a different story, in several respects. But you being in LA, this observation doesn't really help. An agency might be the answer. Have you made inquries at www.mantomanescorts.com? (I never have, so this is not an endorsement, just a pointer.)
  21. >Thanks, Conway. After your comments, I need to have several >reasons to visit Boston not just Jason Rylee. You should line up 3, plus one for backup. That's two fewer than the number of computers the Space Shuttle uses to land. I live in Boston and I despise it in this respect. This evening not one person on m4m, rentboy or elsewhere was to be had. I had to go to eros.com to find a live & available H. sapiens. I would be banned if I posted more here.
  22. >http://www.taquitos.net/dbimages13/Poppers-J.jpg There is that. Whatever one thought of Rico, at least peristalsis was regular.
  23. Something was not going right in his life at that previous time -- I got that sense when we met recently, but did not press for details. Not making an excuse for him (nor was he), just reporting a datum.
  24. >Your reseverations for a party of six are confirmed. }( > > Let me know of you need additional places in the queue. As long as you're willing to run my tab -- keep a "C" table near the kitchen open too! In the spirit of SilverDollar, StuCotts, KY and other good examples, I also owe reviews of a couple of instructively so-so experiences.
  25. >When will we >see it nationwide in the USA. Not in my lifetime unless the >Supreme Court steps in, which seems very unlikely anytime >soon. Sadly too true. Fixing the Supremes will take 8 years of Hillary followed by 8 years of Barack. Or something equally drastic -- substitute your own names here. (Whoops -- here goes another political thread.)
