Actually a very good instruction in how to perform literary criticism. pop/mass culture is so great!
  5. This is not a smarty-pants English-major question (actually on reflection it is ), but what exactly does ‘literal interpretation’ mean? The respective sense and meaning of those two words would seem to be in direct conflict with each other.

Franklin very lightly editing Jefferson’s draft of the Declaration of Independence. And keeping Adams in check against his own too-high idealism. Thank god we had such an array of geniuses when we needed them most.

  14. This is my PCP. https://www.wakemed.org/brian-t-klausner-md-primary-care-internal-medicine Georgetown, then U of Chicago Hospitals. 15. In caring for my 90-yo mama, she and I almost always have to do our own online research to find today’s best practice documented in the journals, and bring it to the docs to get right Rx + competent expert referrals.

  18. Please forgive. I was reading further up the thread and skipping. To your intended point: pls do not worry about Lucky’s & my personal relationship. It has bottomless complexities, but is indestructible. As I think both his and my eruptions here have documented.
  19. I don’t agree at all. @kjun12 and I have arguments and even verbal fistfights here all the time. But they are, mutually, honest. As most all converse here is. Productive to new thinking. The point being that someone who thinks completely opposite of you might just have a very good idea you yourself had not thought of.

Beyond hilarious that the very self-aware chosen intro music for this clip is the ‘Entrance into Egypt of the Queen of Sheba.’ (Handel IIRC)
