Yeah, it is going to take some continuing pressure from the US and others to ‘encourage’ these changes. Agree Grandpa B. has some issues here. Whether the electorate will take notice, I have not a clue.

Think these are two-afart unitary issues. Imagine if the U.S. were judged on the totality of its conduct alone, not on the specifics.

If every nuclear weapons R&D & production program on the planet could be converted to a globally coordinated Manhattan Project to develop geoengineering technologies that would actually work to reverse climate change (all current ideas are dismally primitive, & look likely to do much more harm than good), we might have a chance at species survival. Good luck with that?
