It hardly needs saying: Clinton was impeached for lying about sex with a White House aide. Trump was impeached for illegally withholding Congressionally mandated financial aid, for purpose of personal political gain, to a national political ally coming under threat from their prime foe. To make any equivalence as you did is supremely irresponsible as a US citizen & patriot.

There was pretty clear public clinical evidence that RR was into Alzheimer’s not far into his 2nd term, if not before. Biden is to be sure old & slow. But not quite the same thing.

If I had any single magic power, I’d resurrect LBJ and ensconce him in total charge as long as he deemed necessary. Or FDR. EVERY aspect of both our national and species survival existence is in mortal peril now, & for the foreseeable future. God save us all. (Who over millennia has not been too inclined to do so when it was from our own stupidity & selfishness & evil.)

While I all over the place identify as a hard-lefty, I also remember the Founders had no notion at all of partisan politics. They thought we would be a never-ending cacophony & competition of individual independent political views, to the common good. What things have descended to today with K Street, the Court’s allowance of outright commercial theft of the vote, etc etc.
