How did you feel when you learned Santa's not real?
xpaulo replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
Betrayed by my parents. I was the last kid in my Grade 3 class to believe in Santa and passionately defended his existence. Finally my mom admitted the truth. In retrospect I think she always wondered how she ended up with such a weird kid. -
Ha, ha... I couldn't find Relax Sauna and I couldn't figure out how to access the other side of the groping wall. And never put two and two together until much later.

Not confirmed by me. I just assumed. The one that came from the back when I was sitting and waiting was young and hot and when I said Hola he politely said Hola back. So of course he wasn't a police officer. Even in Canada they're never polite.... unless you're female, look like you could arguably be over 16 and have a nice ass.... or you're female and willing to fuck them. It's amazing how many Canadian cops hook up, or try to hook up, with victims or witnesses they're taken statements from and "accidently" send them dick picks. But the older security guy was definitely picking at something in a window frame out front.

Good memory, it was indeed on the left hand. The advice I had read said prepaying the reciprocity fee and showing the receipt at immigration speeds it up and makes it easier for the officer. The officer apparently had never seen or heard of this before so it actually pissed him off and made the process much longer as first one and then another officer were called in for consultation. One blessing, as I entered the room I noticed the long line and then a young female officer pointed me to the old people line which had not a single person in it. They have those in India and other places too. I don't think I have ever seen one in Canada or at least one that included seniors without disabilities.

Pretty off topic, when I was in Medellin in February I met up with a couple of Fercho's guys at Hotel Roma. The first time when I arrived there was a police officer outside trying to dig something out of a window frame. I went in and took a seat and another officer came out of the back and left. No idea what happened, but my imagination immediately speculated it there was a bullet in the window frame.

Another dated, but very good movie is City of God released in 2002 about young men growing up in the slums of Rio. I remember the DVD at the time included a short documentary about young men growing up in the favelas and the government deliberately putting political prisoners in prisons with gang members with the expectation the intelllectuals would be tormented and murdered by the gangs. Unexpectedly the political prisoners educated the gang members on how government policies created their extreme poverty. But the biggest takeaway for me was a line about how teenagers could never earn enough money to buy brand name runners like Nike and Addidas without turning to crime. I tried to find the name of the doc on google, but couldn't.

The Mechanism on Netflix first aired in 2018, two seasons. Corruption police investigating government contract fixing right up to the president's office (Lulu, who is president again despite the scandal). Great show.

I've been watching a lot of African porn, mostly Nigerian, gay and straight. It's all local people in the porn, no foreigners. I notice in some of the two men/one woman combos the straight men touch each other a lot, no sex, but stroking the other guys butt cheeks, etc, But I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the straight men fuck bottoms when they're available. A bi male escort told me there's no difference between anal with a girl and anal with a guy.

That opens up a whole new conspiracy theory especially with the Onassis connection. I'm surprised nobody has written a book about it.

Powerful men often use their power for sexual purposes. JFK, Martin Luther King and probably Robert Kennedy all had multiple sexual relationships in the 1960s. I think there's an assumption the women were all willing participants. I'd be surprised if that was true in all the cases, I'm guessing a few felt they didn't have a choice. A close friend of JFK even told his fiance and then wife before their wedding that JFK would continue to have sex with other women after their wedding and if she couldn't accept that, she should end the engagement. Human nature doesn't really change.

Me too. The first airport official to look at the my boarding pass told me it was unlikely I would make my connection home to Canada. I don't know if he misread the boarding pass or was a jerk, but I actually had lots of time. I panicked instead of the checking the time. There was a really long shuttle trip, I of course was at the last one. And it wasn't until I got there until I realized I still had three hours. Gatwick is the worse I've ever been to. Crowded, WIFI doesn't work even if you pay for it, a woman working at the security check was screaming at people. I figured she was in the army at some point.

Some people get so focused on an imagined grievance they lose all good sense.

Super, thank you, it's just prepaying the reciprocity fee so no additional fee.. The net said I still have to go through the Canadian line, I guess they just like to keep track.

Very sad. It's odd, I've often wondered why some Muslim and Christian nations have never banned homosexual sex and others do. I looked it up a few days ago and sure enough it was the fucking Europeans. The response I got said while sodomy was banned in the Muslim religion homosexuality wasn't. But as Europeans began colonizing the world they brought their laws. So while homosexuality has never been illegal in Turkey, the British banned it in India during their rule there. It was banned in progressive Canada until 1969 with the law enthusiastically enforced in some cities and by the RCMP. In the 60s a Canadian man on getting a second conviction was sentenced to an "indefinite" period in prison which could have meant life. That spurred efforts to get the ban lifted. The Calgary police continued to harass gays well into the 90s. And the Vancouver police would label gay hate crimes as something else like road rage. In recent years they refused to charge two rednecks with assaulting a gay guy downtown despite lots of witness evidence. The victiim called his local member of the BC legislature who called the mayor who called the police chief. The police said it was all a misunderstanding, the officers were planning to turn it over to the hate crimes unit. The rednecks pled guilty and had to do some community service I think. It's disappointing that can still happen in one of the most an progressive neightbourhoods in one of the most progressive cities in Canada.

I think he refused to give her the change. It was one of those things where she was paying, me and the husband were starting to walk away and there was a commotion behind us. I think she wanted to pay for things like that because she knew me and him would overtip.

Ha, ha... she was a very competitive lawyer and very money conscious. Also, it was tough for her there, she's quite tall and really stood out. She got a lot of attitude probably because of the Muslims and women thing, especially from other women. Her husband and me would get big smiles from a store clerks and she would just get a sullen stare. It happened a lot. Plus me and husband are short, but her long legs made long trips on the highway buses uncomfortable because of not much space between seats. And I think her husband's dirty sex obsessed mind made sure she was getting "plenty to eat at home" as Toronto Mayor Rob Ford once said.

ha,ha... I hired a driver/guide in Bali in November. He told me the raid there on the gay sauna a few years ago was prompted by the owners of a new sauna paying off the police to eliminate their biggest compeitition.

I'm going to Medellin on Friday. It will be the first time I go through passport control there. Have you gone through there in recent years noticed where the special kiosk is in relation to the other windows. I did the prepay this time, but apparently stiil have to go through the Canadian walk of shame.

That's for sure. Of course it's all relative. Asians seem like studs compared to Canadian escorts. I usually only contact foreigh guys when I am at home.

I just laughed out loud, which is something I rarely do anymore.

Ha, ha.... know what you mean. I went to Malaysia with a buddy and his wife and she flipped out one day over a taxi driver who cheated us out of 60 cents. She was yelling at him and he said, "fuck you" and sped off. Well, him getting the last word and it being fuck you really pissed her off. Fortunately she was going home a week before us because she couldn't stop fuming over it and blaming all Malaysians.

Domo was the third one. About a dozen guys, 30s and 40s. One spectacular guy probably late 20s. Handsome, fantastic perfect golden body. By himself, some of the other guys following him around. I only stayed about 20 minutes.

Years ago I bought two nice paintings there at the artist's shop. They had to be shipped which I was skeptical about, but the artist pulled out a binder with emails from other satisfied Canadian customers who had received their paintings. I even recognized the name of a woman who worked for the same company as me. A few months later the wooden crate arrived safe and sound.

The US is becoming a gangster state. Trump is pardoning any convicted person in his gang including people involved in drug trafficking that's caused incalculable misery, the beatings of law enforcement officers at the Capitol as part of an effort to block Biden's certification as president, justifying the wrongful deaths of people protesting countless illegal arrests committed by goons, ridiculous financial actions that are damaging the US economy, Trump family and friends raking in cash related to his presidency, ceasing gov't activities that beneifit the US and the world. it goes on and on. Then there's the lies and lies and lies. Everything he's said about Canada is a lie. A valid criticism is that Canada has been relying on the US military for protection. That was acknowledged before Trump became president and military spending is rapidly rising..

Hi, just spent a month in Brazil visiting Sao Paulo, Florianopolis, Curitiba and Belo Horizonte . Not much new to report. The highlight for me was contacting a scruffy guy I had seen in online semi-amateur gay Brazilian porn and fell in lust with. Not sure if 'Luiggi' is still performing. I met him once alone and then him and a friend of his a second time. They were great, I had to eventually end the session from exhaustion. Rented a condo on same block as Lagoa. It seemed to me that on any given night the individual and type of GPs could be almost completely different from the night before. I always asked to be their puta and they were enthusiastic. I think 1097 in BH was the first sauna I went to in Brazil and it's my 'spiritual home' for GPs. Unlike everybody else, I love the guys there and went full slut. Checked out the three places in Curitiba that have had GPs in the past. This was a Monday night and Club 773 was almost empty but had two GP tops there who were good. Tuesday night checked out Club and Sauna Opiniao. It was interesting, no sign of a sauna in operation but it was like a social club, A big card table underway and the bar room was packed. I'd say at least a dozen GPs, most with some rough edges which I like. It was busy and the guys were having fun. You'd have to know the lauguage though to join in. It wasn't open the next night or I would have gone again. In Florianopolis only met up with an escort duo and they were fun too. For me the working guys in Latin America always put a lot of effort into customer satisfaction and I really appreciate it.
