They also have modern private rooms here that look good in the photos. The downside: according to the description, there are no windows. I don't know... That would actually put me off booking. The prices are very attractive at the moment, though. It might be an option for just one or two nights if you simply need a place to sleep—for instance, to have a room available during the day if you have a late flight. I do wonder, though, if you'd get any noise disturbance from the night market inside the room.

That's a shame as it always was one of the best chicken cashew according to my humble opinion.

Images of flooded streets in Bangkok/Thailand, keep popping up in my (news) feed. Does anyone have firsthand updates? What is the situation like in Bangkok and Pattaya right now? And how bad is the damage? I read just today that another spell of heavy rainfall is expected.

It surprises me that this still isn't possible. It’s no problem at all on the metro, of course; I always quickly tap in and out with my credit card there. But with the Skytrain, you have to buy a ticket every time. Many machines only accept coins, and there are often long lines for them. It would be so much better if you could just check in with your credit card there, too.

Now I’m really curious. Who is this Tong Tong who’s working at DreamBoy now? I can’t find him on the Klover site, either. It’s always nice to take a guy from the bar back with you who also has massage skills... Any inside info? Also regarding gay/straight, top/bottom?

There is, I think, important information missing from the airport communications. You must have visited Thailand previously using your current passport. If you have a new passport, the e-gates apparently do not work because your biometric data is linked to your old passport and therefore needs to be re-entered for the new one.

I was in Bangkok during Golden Week once. That wasn't intentional; I hadn't known about it beforehand. And indeed, there were many handsome young Chinese tourists. Unfortunately, my experience was that 99% of them aren't into older farangs, but rather into muscular Asian men.

It certainly looks very beautiful and atmospheric. I can't wait to see it with my own eyes. Yet another reason to visit Pattaya again!
