This might be a little sensitive. I would like to take my regular boy for STD/HIV tests in Bangkok on my next visit. While we do use protection and he has also assured me he is “clean”, we have reached a level of familiarity where it is just too easy to slip up. He was pretty upset the first time I felt it was necessary to broach the subject and offered to get tested (said in a fit of pique rather than a real offer). But I think I might offend him greatly and cause him to lose “face” if I insist on having him tested, and also being present for the test and result. Has anyone had a similar experience? What is the most tactful way to proceed? I also would like to have him tested regularly if I keep seeing him, which hopefully will keep him vigilant about using condoms with other customers. Also, where in Bangkok should I bring him for same day test and results?

Great update! I really like how Fluke does his hair at Fake. Suits him better than the slicked back ponytail he had at Moonlight. How exactly does the model system work? I have always been there with boys so I have never been up close with any of the Fake models, apart from those who may know the boys with us and come up to say hello. Do the models go table to table introducing themselves? Are you expected to tip them? Around a month ago my friend invited Babe, Tam and one other muscular Moonlight model to Fake. The boys thought it would be funny to have their shirts off like the house models. They were drinking, dancing, flexing biceps and having a great time. However at some point they noticed they had distracted all the customers in the vicinity who were openly ogling them non stop and starting to crowd around the table, while the real Fake models were getting upset. So they quickly put their shirts on and kept a low profile thereafter LOL.

Alizizou, one of the quirks of this new board is that photos can be seen even by non-registered members / people casually browsing or searching from Google. Maybe for boy’s privacy and your own you may wish to not post your own personal pics until this is changed?

Trip report Christmas in Bangkok and New Year in Pattaya

Have a safe trip home spoon, looking forward to the next instalment of your report. Thanks for writing it up.- 163 replies

I believe that is why Babe and Tam declined to work at Fake. The Fake models are expected to drink heavily to encourage customers to keep opening bottles. Babe in particular cannot hold his drink.

Not Q then, my mistake. The numbers were 20, 24 and 44. And 16. But I have no idea who they are since I never remember numbers. I wish Moonlight FB would profile the regular boys more. Dare I say it, the constant repetition of the models is getting boring. Especially since the newer ones aren’t as attractive with the exception of Atom, and perhaps Smarch.

Fake Club is great fun. The video Jasper posted must have been taken very early in the evening. It starts to get busy around midnight and by 1 am is a full on a dance club, busy even on Sundays. The models parade in the wackiest outfits and circulate among the tables to drink. However it is not good to meet or pick up people, far too noisy. I would not recommend going alone unlike DJ Station. I am surprised the models can’t be offed, there must be a way to “engage” their services. Fluke must enjoy playing dress up at Fake!

My Chinese is limited but I do occasionally check on the Chinese forum. There were several posts and one travel report raving about a two cute twinks at Moonlight, I imagine Q is one of them. I can’t remember his number. Most likely Q is taking advantage of his new popularity in this lucrative market. Moonlight’s loss! The Chinese customers seem to be quite young and prone to falling in love with the boys, which means heavy tips and gifts. One of the twinks received a Tiffany necklace as a farewell present from a besotted customer! There was a lot of excitement about Nicky several months ago. Not sure if he’s still as popular these days.

I just had a look at the FB page, lots and lots of hunks! I could not see the other ex Moonlight model, who was it? Around the time you posted about your friend seeing Fluke and Tam at Fake Club, apparently they were both offered jobs there. And of course Babe is much in demand.
-
Sorry to say, it appears Fluke has left Moonlight to work in Fake Club. Some boys do work multiple venues, hopefully he will return.

Here’s an interesting update. Boy - realising motorcycle is unlikely to materialise - is back with a new request...hair transplants. I actually laughed out loud when I heard this.

Drim - do you follow the Moonlight FB page? They’ve been posting new videos nearly every day, most with Nicky. Thank you for the entertaining and erotic reports!

I missed your question about how to ask a boy back to your room. Honestly just call them over for a drink, enlist the mamasan’s help if needed. And say “You come with me? No sex. I want see your muscle”. And flex your bicep for good measure. They will get it. Edit: the muscle boys are terribly vain. They LOVE showing off. If you are nice, smiling and friendly, likely they will be more than happy to agree.

Hello Mark. An “off fee” is basically a bar fine - a small fee to the bar when you engage a boy. Negotiations for time together, tip (the fee paid to the boy) and the exact services you expect from him, are conducted directly with the boy himself. If your only requirement is muscle worship, it would be good to state this upfront as some boys turn down engagements if they assume sex is involved. For Moonlight models, the off fee is 1000 to the bar. They do have real bodybuilders - one the new models Atom competes and wins in regional WFF events. His most recent win was in November. Tae is a gym trainer to other muscle boys and bodybuilders. Some of the regular non-model boys are also muscular and their off fee is 500. My understanding is Atom is working at the bar to fund his bodybuilding competitions and may appreciate the interest/business. He is quite new so it would be good to be very specific you are not asking him for sex. For even bigger specimens, Tawan is your best bet. This bar is strictly for muscle and had the largest boys. I am not familiar with Tawan but maybe some of the other members can offer some suggestions, For meeting non-bar bodybuilders, you may be best going to Jupiter to look for #73 (thanks for the reminder Jasper!) Mekhin Aryuwattanamongkol. He was a very successful competitive bodybuilder and still has a stunning physique - you may be interested to check him out first even before the Moonlight boys. If you are lucky enough to off him, he will be great for posing, muscle worship etc. Additionally, he is very friendly and speaks decent English so you can ask him how to connect with real bodybuilders and who can be engaged for a room session. He has been in the business long enough that he will clock what you mean. Even if you are unable to off him, you can ask to have a chat with him in Jupiter. Just explain to any mamasan that you have a question for Mekhin. Attached for your viewing pleasure, the Moonlight models flexing. Atom is the one with the nice smile, front kneeling.

He’s trying to shelve the issue for the moment, let’s see if boy takes the hint or becomes more persistent. I have to say this boy provides one of the best boyfriend experiences I’ve ever seen - I can understand why my friend is conflicted.
-
This sounds very interesting and the sort of thing I like reading- bar culture is a fascinating world of its own. Not sure I would pay 80 EUR just to find out though!
-
Jason, I do not think you are foolish. I think you are very “good heart”, which I mean in its real sense - minus any sarcasm that this term has picked up along the way! I think my friend would much prefer to help the boy in this manner, where the funds are being put toward getting ahead in life, rather than just a momentary thrill and “face” value among his peers. That is his main hesitation apart from the high dollar value. I also want to clarify boy does not *need* a motorcycle, he has other transport options available to him including car access.
-
I believe the decision is in limbo at the moment. My friend is obviously unwilling to pay for the whole motorcycle but wouldn’t mind contributing a reasonable fixed amount to the deposit, so that boy takes on a share of the initial financial responsibility too, and pays the monthly instalments thereafter. However he’s also trying to point out to the boy that a vanity motorcycle is wildly impractical. It costs much more than a nice reliable Honda, and boy will then have a commitment of 12-15k baht monthly instalment for the next 3-4 years. In fact you hit the nail on the head- the overall price could be a decent down payment on a small unit in a cheaper area of Bangkok or back in boy’s hometown. Is it common for customers to buy motorcycles for boys, and what is the usual price range? This particular request seems higher than usual.

Firstly I want to say a big thank you to Michael for his care and dedication in maintaining this site! I think the new interface looks great. Clean and easy to navigate. Love the updated reputation system. Have a few suggested tweaks to improve the overall format. I wanted to start a new thread, which can be purged at a later stage, instead of cluttering up the pinned post. - Photos: I think photo attachments should be made visible only to registered members, same as before. I noticed they are currently visible to anyone who browses the site. - show the full name of most recent poster, not just the photo icon - I agree with spoon’s comment in other threads that it is not always easy to search for information. Most of us are particularly interested in venues: bars, restaurants, hotels, etc. Is there a way to create a special tagging system just for venues, which can then become a searchable value? Eg, a travel report could have several tag filters showing what was covered. City: “Bangkok” “Pattaya” Bars: “Tawan” “Jupiter” “Cupidol” Hotels: “Raya” “Zing” Restaurants: “Maxis” This makes for easy viewing and archiving, and useful for newbies trying to search out specific places. I think it’s quite nice to have the trip reports in the main forum as more people will see them and respond, but agree that sometimes it’s easy to lose sight of which is an exciting trip report and which a regular post. Or perhaps we can start a protocol that all trip reports have a [Trip Report] comment in the header.

“Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory and Thai Bar Boys” https://bangkokbois.sawatdeenetwork.com/2011/09/16/maslows-hierarchy-of-needs-theory-and-thai-bar-boys/ Now this is an entry that never fails to make me laugh and why I enjoy this blog so much. The author’s rendering of Maslow’s pyramid according to “The Thai Bar Boy’s Hierarchy of Needs” is gold. On a side note my friend is feeling somewhat jaded today as he’s just been hit up for his first “help with motorcycle” request - not for a modest scooter either, but for a huge souped up monster that the boy obviously thinks will win him lots of face joyriding around Surawong.

“First Timers Guide To Bangkok Gay Gogo Bars” https://bangkokbois.sawatdeenetwork.com/2011/02/26/first-timers-guide-to-bangkok-gay-gogo-bars/ An excellent tongue in cheek instructional that takes a newbie step by step through offing from a gogo bar, long time vs short time, butterflying, tipping and other quirks . This guide has a total of 11 instalments so there is plenty of reading fodder for the chronically airport bound, like myself! Sample from Part IV: “You Can Run, But You Can Not Hide: If you chickened out and told a bar boy you’d come to his bar again and off him for another night – meaning you lied – trying to avoid him by hitting a different bar will not work. Bar boys are all in tune with each other and he’ll be alerted to your presence in a bar even if it is one further down the soi. He will find you. Your sex life in Bangkok will be screwed. And not in a good way.”

Apologies to all other forum members who must be heartily sick of all this Moonlight discussion...but this was too good not to post. Found a video of Fluke’s shower show, while I was searching for Nicky’s for DrimVoiz. All I can say is....wow, all the good reviews are certainly justified! https://twitter.com/moonlight_bkk/status/1045192128719085568?s=20

My friend is the regular not me, but I benefit from going with him. Yes I did ask actually. Mamasan said it was “Need to ask him” but as he was always occupied, I was never able to call him over for a drink. They say the same about Babe- who does actually take offs from known regular patrons, but as far as I know only for drinking and clubbing.
-
Did you see Babe in person when you visited Moonlight? He’s the shortest model, but perfectly proportionate and looks great. And the camera just loves his face. That’s Sunny, the star dancer at Moonlight. 24 years old and Nepalese. I like him too and trying to figure out if he can be offed, but he’s always been bagged by women each time I’ve visited.
