My visit in August 4 years ago the weather was gloomy most of the times heavy cloud cover and sometimes heavy rain for long hours , I would prefer December prices are much higher but the weather is lovely.

I just came across The Rose Residence hotel in Suriwong excellent location near the bars nice rooms and swimming pool ,anyone stayed there and can share his experience ?

I don't agree with the suggested going rates @TotallyOz but I do agree that trying to build mathematical formula to how much paying boys is useless, ln reality it's a negotiating between you and the boy and the deal is closed when both sides agreed to the fee,also there are subjective factors as @TotallyOz advised like you are ready to pay more or give gifts if you really liked the boy and there is nothing wrong about it, it's really none of anyone's business if a client want to do it , I personally declined immediately if a boy quoting very high rate even if I want him badly but if I have a good experience with a boy I don't mind to tip him generously or buying him a gift, it's really depends on certain situation and the chemistry between us this is why I believe there is no point trying to create a formula how much we should pay.

I am considering a first time visit to Colombia can you advise the cost there ? I am into 18-22 y.o. slim gay twinks is it easy to find them there ? What about safety ? joiners policy at hotels ?

It's a big mistake to arrange threesome with two boys whom are freinds/roommates it's an akward situation for them and it's better to ask the boy to choose the partner he wants.

Zing have buffet breakfast option but it's not great buffet, For 250 Bht it's reasonable.

I stayed at the East Suites 2 years ago at their best room Jacuzzi 2 rooms suite it's the best room I ever had in Thailand very luxurious , the staff is very friendly no one cares about visitors you can bring anyone you want and the big plus you have a free access to Zing hotel swimming pool , I also used to have breakfasts at the Zing it's just opposite East Suites.I really enjoyed my stay there. The Agate is joiners friendly but is not exactly a gay hotel and as far as know they are not serving breakfast at the moment due very low occupancy.

My last visit at Dreamboys seven years ago the price of a drink was the same 450 Bht.

Thai people have a tendency to say they don't understand you when they don't want to answer a particular question. It is difficult to attract boys to work in bars indeed due many reasons: Some prefer to find their customers in the apps without the commitment to bosses in bars, some don't like to rotate semi-naked in very cold air condition environment, some are to shy to expose themselves to customers in bars and the last reason I can think of is the vast improvement at the Thai economy in the past ten years making it possible to find better jobs .

I know I made a lot of controversy here but I didn't mean to, I don't suggesting anyone what to do or not to do I just said that personally for me it will be very sad to come and see the consequences of the Covid and I am not sure I can ignore it and have a good time because it might be too devastated for me too see the closed bars which I liked ,the closed markets, businesses and street stalls so I prefer to wait for better times to come.

@macaroni21 love your report ! Is it really a 'pip show' bathroom right into the leaving room without an option to cover in your room at the Raya hotel ?

@macaroni21 finally you are describing us the truth about the current situation in Silom-Suriwong area because almost all the latest reports by other members you could get the false impression that things get back to normal which isn't the truth, I know some can enjoy hunting boys in Bangkok and tell the whole world how wonderful their latest trip was and ignore the lifeless streets , shuttered business, absent of street stalls and markets but I couldn't do it , I will not be able to enjoy my self on this gloomy post covid area. I hope the situation will improve very soon so I can visit again my beloved Thailand as it was before.

I have only one thing to say about it : don't buy, don't cry.

On my next trip I am planning to visit the far north Chiang Mai,Pai and Mae Hong Son never had been there due my laziness.I am planning more touristic things then boys. lol . By the way I had been in Sukothai five years ago, the old city is amazing much more impressive then ruins in Ayutthaya and the Thai's there are the most lovely people I ever met in Thailand.

I think that's how it works.I usually stay between 3 weeks to one month every trip and somehow wasting my time on cleaning, laundry and cooking isn't appealing to me. I know some prefer service apartments or Airbnb but I never understood what is the adventage of it in a country where the hotels have an excellent value for money .

Thai boys don't like to walk at all even very short walks they will take some kind of transportation. They also don't like explosion to sun and sitting in the beach isn't attractive thing .

The Boys Bangkok bring back so many wonderful memories it was for me the best all time ever gogo bar in Thailand so many amazing boys to choose from and the best fucking shows I ever saw . Yes you are right most boys were happy with 1000 ST only the star boys expect to receive more than that back then.
