The best rates are withdraw money from ATM's which located inside bank branches ,shopping malls or dedicate stores and have opening time limits, there is a max limit 300 to 600k but at the airport up to 1500K. Cash isn't good idea because mony exchangers are not so common there and their rates usually very poor, if you are bringing cash US Dollars are most preferable.

I don't remember any issues with Furama Silom breakfasts it was not amazing but it wasn't bad either. If you are booking their better rooms they are spacious, lovely renovated and excellent bathrooms. The views from the room are very nice at their high floors, the swimming pool is good not luxurious and the views are panoramic. Regarding the fitness center I can't comment because never used it . certainly not a 5 star's hotel but value for money I think it's one of the best options in the area.

Most of the drivers are fine but the 2 cases I had from the airport to Silom area were obviously a scam I know the area and I explained to them which is the correct way to the hotel but the taxi drivers ignored my instructions pretended don't understand what I am saying to them and "got lost " mirically after endless rounds on the roads they found the correct way to my hotel.

He is not exactly paid boy we met online year ago and developed more serious relationship. he was very protective and caring and in relatively unsafe country as Colombia it made me feel safer with him , he excused his behavior on that the Venezuelan boys are scammers and might be very dangerous. maybe so I don’t know. He didn't instruct me not to speak with others but from his behavior he didn't like it at all . I felt safe with him and enjoyed our trip together so I didn't mind about it , I guess if he was a paid money boy I wouldn't accept such kind of behavior.

I suspect the " lost taxi driver " is a scam tactic for some of the drivers to make the trip longer and increase the costs it happened to me twice from the airport to Silom area although the knew the exact addresse I showed them in advance in Thai they somehow managed to "get lost".

If you are doing tourist visa in your local Thai embassy they don't ask for air ticket information, if you are doing visa on arrival at the immigration in BKK in principal you need to have return or onward ticket but it's rarely asked there, the main problem is with the airlines which might refuse to check you in , so it's not a wise thing to buy one way ticket.

It's a little bit complicated than this the Thai society is very conservative and many families don't accept if one of them is LGBT thus many are staying in the closet or living double life but if it's not conern to them directly Thai people are very tolerable and really don't care what others doing. homophobia, or negativity behavior is not coming from western tourist but mainly from the Arabs ,Russians and Indians. Never saw bad attitude from Thais to LGBT.
