Pathetic wannabes.

The OP asked for Thai restaurants. I assumed that meant Thai food?? Otherwise, agree that La Bocca is very good for Italian - though not cheap. I had a truly appalling meal in Natan's with service to match. I'll never go back. Pig & Whistle is OK for western food and not bad for a limited selection of Thai food. Simon's Fish & Chips is very good for f&c but also OK for Thai food. O-la-la on Dongtan Beach is OK as well. Pastrami & Rye has closed. Not sure if it's reopened as takeaway on Beach Rd? Continental Bakery has a wide range of breakfasts - I'm partial to the fruit/muesli/yoghurt - and excellent bread. Avoid the Italian Bistro opposite Natan's. I saw the boss tell the chef to reuse the salad I'd left on my plate.

Yes, that's him. Took another X-boys lad that I'd been chatting to for a couple of nights when 'Sky' was off work. Sorry I didn't take Nam instead but try to avoid too much conflict/hassle within bars :-) Other lad pretty desperate to be BFined - as were a few others. Near the end of my trip by then. Guess I'll need to pay Sunee a visit in July. Never actually been there!

Not sure if I'm getting 2 boys confused. He reminds me of one boy from X-Boys - said he was from Nong Khai. Same one?? Last time I was in X-Boys he was the bottom in their show ending act. He'd decided to go by the name 'Sky' then. Maybe there are 2 boys who look similar?

As you walk from the main road past the bars, with the Venue down the bottom on the right, the massage place would face you as you got to the corner. Sorry, can't remember much about it. Could even have been a 'high season only' place?

Well, I'm happy and I don't really care what people ignorant of Welsh myths & legends think ;-)

All done. Many thanks. Scooby dooby does!
-
Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried looking there but can't find an option for changing username. I've sent a message to Scooby now, I'll see what happens.
-
I tried sending a message about this 3/4 days ago but haven't heard anything. Should I try Scooby direct rather than a general message to board?
-
TBH, that's why I didn't try any of them over Xmas. Walked past several times but didn't really see any cuties. I'll have another look in July.

UK list is shorter. No UAE so Emirates & Etihad not affected.

He doesn't look that cute to me?

Not interested in a long discussion with someone who is so detached from reality so will just make 2 points: 1. I made no comment regarding the % of GDP contributed by oil. I simply stated the basic fact that oil revenues have fallen dramatically. Reduced North Sea production, remaining oil being more expensive to extract and much reduced world oil prices all contribute to this. It is indisputable that this leaves Scotland in a much weaker economic position than would previously have been the case. 2. The SNP want Scotland to be in the EU. There is no option other than to commit to joining the Euro if they want to join this failing political union. The fact that you can't accept this shows just how utterly deluded you are.

Thanks for that. As you say, the experience can vary with masseur. When I was walking past number 2, one of the staff was certainly making it clear to me that all extras were on offer when trying to tempt me in. This could depend on the masseur. Maybe these places are a little less full on than, say, the massage at the Ambience??

From memory, I noticed 5 massage places in Jomtien Complex during my last visit - not counting the Blind Massage. I didn't get around to trying any of them but was wondering if anyone has any reviews/recommendations. They were roughly where I've numbered the map. I think number 4 was called 'Blue Angel' or something similar but don't recall the other names.

Economics will decide. Oil revenues in the gutter. No chance of keeping £. Joining a failing currency, the Euro. Huge budget deficit. Quite simply, an Independent Scotland will not be economically viable. The Scottish people will realise that and vote at least 60% against.
-
A united Ireland has been inevitable ever since New Labour persuaded the Unionists to accept the Good Friday agreement. Only a matter of time. It will probably happen before Scotland becomes independent. Sturgeon has misjudged big time. The vote against independence will be larger than last time.
-
That may be one way to ensure I don't make it to 56!
-
I'll be in Jomtien for my 55th birthday next July. Now, how to celebrate?
-
I always enjoyed the atmosphere in the Jomtien Complex bars over the New Year period. Plenty of 'staff' to suit most tastes and no hassles. Good selection of condos nearby if anyone fancies a change from a hotel. If you're staying for a longer period, generally cheaper than hotels. No issues taking guests back. I'll have to check out the massages next trip. 4 or 5 places within the complex (other than the Blind Massage). Any recent reviews anywhere?

I've never met him but agree that the interview came across as rather 'manic'. His social media posts appear to be getting more boastful as well - important contacts, getting people out of prison, illegal activity, etc etc. Can't help thinking he could be heading for a fall.
