Will ETA be a deterrence for tourist to come to Thailand? Im pretty sure it will have some role in this. While for those like me who have been to thailand many times and love it, maybe not so much. But for first timers or those who has not had their heart set on visiting thailand once or twice a year, perhaps itll be a factor. Im hesitant to visit south korea again due to K-ETA requirement as i usually dont plan my holidays ahead of time due to uncertain workloads. And if i wanted to brings boys to travel with me, that adds another layer of complication.

Not similar. No approval required for malaysia digital arrival card, which can only be filled up to 3 days before arrival. Probably similar to K-ETA done by South Korea, but they do charge small fee.

There is a diff between digital arrival card and ETA. ETA is almost akin to visa, and you need approval before allowed boarding. Digital card, even if you forgot to fill it prior to boarding, you can still do it at arrival. At least that is my understanding.

I think they have diff drink price for non-alcoholic/beers and cocktails. 650 is for cocktails.

Actually, jeyspa do have several boys (around 4-5 at least) on premise for the walk in, and ive seen the boys lining up when the walk-in customer comes to choose.

Vck guys will line up in a sort of platform stairs, similar to seats u see in small school gym for spectators. No glass in between you and them though but your seats are quite a distance away. No glass walls at arena too, but guys will line up across the room where they relax/workout. I share the same sentiment as your friend unfortunately lol

Facilities on offer also very different. 3. Im sure their target customers are also different. 4. For the adventurous, motorsai is cheap and can definitely beat the traffic, at least towards nearest bts. Both grab and bolt have bike option too, thus eliminating the need to giving direction to the driver.

Is the entrance fee to Beef during weekend when they have shows/guests invited? There is no fee when i entered during the weekday when its raining, so im not sure if that 400 fee includes drinks. I sure hope so. Popular hotels does tend to booked out during high season even with higher prices. Weather can be unpredictable which is why an umbrella can be a time saving at times. Be more flexible with your plans and u should be fine.

Not much updates. Otot2 is open and still the most visited sauna. Several gay massage places but none are close to bukit bintang area. Plenty of money boys in grindr or rentmen though, most staying in bukit bintang area. Not privy with bars here though, but i do know few gay friendly ones but again, not near bukit bintang area. Cruising spots, again, not my cup of tea but there are several toilets that are hotspots for cruising. For regular massage by men, you have plenty of option in bukit bintang, but chance of happy ending is unlikely. There are reports of some masseurs happy to go to your hotel for more fun but only if you are regulars and have been tipping quite generously, so for short term tourists, might not be applicable.

One last comment. Taxi and grab prices in phuket is prohibitive to say the least. One way taxi ride from airport to Bangtao hotel is 700 Baht, while my bolt charge on our way back is half that. There is an airport bus u can take for 100 baht that take you through most tourist spot but as usual, if your hotel is not near their path or bus stop, you will need to walk a bit or take a bolt. Still cheaper than using the taxi. Ive asked about private driver with car services as well and was quoted 2.5k per 8 hour. Not a bad option if you plan to explore the main island. Hiring a bike still is the best and cheapest way to explore the island but it isnt the most comfortable and weather might not be permitting too.
