Not sure about freshboy policy, but BBB pattaya did ask boys to pay 1k off fee daily for not coming to work during the christmas-new year period, back when their regular off fee is still 500. My guess is, since no drinks is bought, boys who dont come to work will have to pay off fee 1k during songkran period. The bar will just assumed the boy who didnt come to work already have customer who booked them in advance.

I guess bar is trying to deter those who just want to off their boy without even going inside bar and buy a drink. So you will not save any money either way. Also similar case for those who off boy to travel elsewhere, so itll be 1k off fee per day instead of just 500. I find at least this is a better policy than imposing 1k off fee to all regardless.

Its never too early to have a retirement saving target as the early you start the better. While i might still have a way to go before reaching the retirement age, if i can reach the magic number earlier, possibility of early retirement seems very attractive. Of course, if im not of retirement age, visa will be a different issue altogether. So im looking at two simplified options. First option, keep going to thailand as a visitor, but slowly increasing the duration of my trips once im no longer working full time. This can range from 1 month visit at a time up to just shy of 6 month per year. Long term condo stay might allow for much cheaper accommodation compared to hotel's nightly rate, and Ill always have a home back in my own country. Seems to be less hassle, except for the visa part which might cost a lot if looking at thai elite visa. Second option, fully relocate to thailand. For this option, its pretty straightforward as many of the members here has done. There is also an option to go with the first option first and then switch to second option when the time is right. Anyway, the real question will be, what would be the realistic nest eggs to have to be able to retire in thailand. Bangkok will be my first choice. Or maybe a minimum monthly expenses to shoot for?

Its always good to keep a bunch of regulars and also keep finding new regulars as you will never know when your top guy will disappear from the scene. Unless of course if you found the one and made a commitment to be monogamous. Just this year, ive lost 2 regulars, one of them was my top #1 and both of them have travelled with me. I sooth myself with an impromptu visit to bangkok and tries few more new guys, and i think at least one of them warrant another session next trip. I still hope i might meet the two regulars ive lost this year in the future though, especially if they remained attractive hehe but life goes on.

But i agree, military style rules only work well if the top are doing well themselves. Any new innovation implementation would be very easy to be done in a military style ruling if it comes from the top, since they would face little to no objection to the changes. There has been report that u cant really choose masseur in 9-teen massage. Is this still true? If it is, i guess thats somehow sets it apart from some other massage places in soi 6. And i believe, 9-teen massage has higher chances of getting offered HE

I have to agree that many young asians prefer to have fun with masseurs. Many comes to thailand, staying in hostels or with their friends to save cost of accommodation, so having fun in massage place is easier too, as they dont really have a place to host at their hotel. And it is more cost effective. For me, bar is still my main choice of getting my guys, simply because I have higher success in getting guy back to my hotel for a long time session.

Because celibacy in thailand is better than celibacy back home? 🤣

It also means more trips to thailand since now it is more affordable for you who now dont need to off 3 boys a day lol

My guess is, mamasan had issue with the smaller boy, so she purposely steering off possibilty when she can...

A quick google says they do celebrate songkran but have different names. For cambodian, their new year is called chaul chnam thmey, and for myanmar the new year is called thingyan.

In pattaya, i actually appreciate getting some 10 baht coins for that purpose. But still, not 10x10 baht coins. Not in bangkok though, rabbit card is move convenient

Id prefer if they give me small changes in 20 baht rather than the heavy coins. Just personal preference. And i tip when service is rendered. I dont like to feel forced to tip just because of my personal preference to not carry 10 x 10 baht coins around. And if i dont have small changes, i will ask....

Hate this behavior, as if we dont know how to tip... in fact, i will scoop it all and leave no tip out of spite. I only see this in freshboy and previous xboys in soi twilight day. For xboy, since they didnt have guys my type anyway, i avoid going there at all after getting my change in all coins. Bars where i off guys, mamasan in charge will always get a tip from me when i settle the bill. But not if they gave my change in coins....

Im in between 1 and 4. But not looking for a real relationship, rather for finding more regulars that are dependable
