  1. @12is12, since the bar is quite clear about their “no photos” policy, I’m wondering if there is some reason that you felt you should be exception to that rule.
  2. Actually I have been a member since 2016.
  3. Thanks everyone for the updates
  4. Yes and yes.
  5. I too find it a bit annoying, but I try to look at it like this: This is how these guys earn their living. These guys are older, some are married and have children. Some rarely get offs but they are working “hard” to entertain you there in the bar. Unfortunately in recent years, they have had to become accustomed to Chinese tourists who never tip, never buy them a drink, and rarely off them. Or to tourists who are happy to see them walking around naked with a hard on, happy to grope them, and think that it’s free. Unfortunately, if they don’t ask for tips they probably won’t get any. i live in Bangkok and I go there a few times a year. I know that it’s going to be a little expensive. I take a small roll of hundred baht notes and I tip for services rendered. I’m also very comfortable saying no to requests for tips for no reason. I buy a few drinks and I spend a little money. In return I know that I’m going to be treated very well and receive very personalised attention.
  6. Yes that’s him.
  7. What a delightful surprise when I wandered into the new club called Atlas in Patong Soi 2 last night. Big spacious bar, well lit stage right in the center, everything modern and comfortable. And there on the stage were all of the boys from The One / Tawan. They have all quit The One, and are now working at Atlas, which just opened a few days ago. The bar is owned by Arthur, who long time Tawan patrons will remember as the big mixed Black/Asian bodybuilder from Tawan days. As frequent visitors will know, The One never regained the atmosphere of Tawan; it became stale and less inviting, and the show was tame and uninteresting. By contrast, Atlas last night was fun, lively and uninhibited. At least 25 guys, all the top talent from Tawan plus a few new faces. All muscular and fit, if not necessarily lean. These are big muscular men. None of the older fat guys that had come to haunt Taiwan a few years ago were in sight. Fortunately, those days seem to be behind us. The show is back to being hard core and explicit, with lots of audience interaction. Sound and lighting are top notch. The show could have been a little longer, but they just opened a few days ago. I go there to have fun in the bar, not necessarily looking for an off. The guys were friendly, affectionate, and uninhibited. I don’t drink much but I opened a bottle to help them celebrate. I was soon surrounded by guys who, for a tip, were happy to take off their pants and sit with me and drink naked. I’m a bit of a voyeur, so after the show I convinced several of them to also do their rotations on stage stark naked. What a treat. Service was excellent. Arthur seems to be a very competent manager. No admission charge. Drinks were 500 baht, which is steep but worth it to me given the environment. All in all, highly recommended. I hope they can make it a success.
  8. I generally go to a massage shop that has straight muscular guys, choose one I like, and then in the room I announce that I will be massaging them. They are often taken aback at first, but with gentle encouragement, I have never had anyone refuse. I massage them for 5 minutes or so, accidentally brushing up against their cock until they are hard. At that point I edge them very slowly until they are moaning and squirming, stop, then start again. I repeat as necessary until they eventually explode.
  9. I’ve been there a couple of times recently. I can firm: Rough trade, but with excellent service.
  10. By the way Vinapu, is your Khun X the same Khun X that used to work Tawan massage, and occasionally in Tawan Bar? I would love to catch up with him — best massages ever.
  11. Quick question about Phuket. We’re any of the bars open in Soi Paraduse?
  12. Funny, I had dinner at Bitterman last week with friends; the service and the food were both quite good....
  13. Yes, naked -- as in fully stark naked, full monty, whatever you want to call it. Some of the guys still work out every day and are quite buff, a couple of others not so much so.
  14. A rainy Friday night so I headed over to Tawan, thinking there might be very few customers and the guys might be eager for some tip money. Indeed, when I arrived at 10:15, there was exactly one customer inside. No show, so no cover charge. The guys were wearing street clothes, taking only their shirt off for the on-stage rotation, and looking bored to death. I announced that I would buy drinks for any naked boys and immediately had several takers. The only other customer took an off, which left me as the only customer, drinking with a bunch of naked guys. I said I wanted to see a show, so two of them got up on stage and sucked each other's cocks, licked each other all over, etc. It was great fun, they were very good sports about it, and it was much sexier without the silly costumes or masks they normally wear. In the end, I tipped everybody who had participated, including the DJ and the bartender. I dropped a couple of thousand baht, but it was worth it for what was essentially a private party, and everybody seemed grateful to have someone actually willing to engage with them. I have been lucky enough to still have work during the virus, so I don't mind sharing a little bit with those who are currently struggling, especially when I get a lot attention in return as I did on Friday. The guys in there have been very good to me over the years and so I was happy to provide them with a little something during tough times. I'll probably drop in again in a few weeks and do it again.

  16. Someone needs to off one of the Moonlight model boys and give us a report!
  17. When in Bangkok, I stay in a condo some distance away from the action. For various reasons, I cannot bring offs there. Can anyone recommend a decent short time hotel in Surawong?

    APP. USAGE

I don't use the apps a lot but my experience has been Planet Romeo has more Thai guys interested in farang, while Hornet and Blued tend toward Thai for Thai. I'm talking non-commercial contacts.
  19. Their facebook page says "low season pricing" now in effect. Admission and first drink 300, second drink 150. Hard to complain about that!
  20. There are many around the vicinity of the dolphin fountain. Just walk - they will find you.
  21. It's a short taxi ride to Pullman G on Silom road. Nice, not expensive, no problem with unregistered guests.
  22. Agreed - it would seem they are actively looking to deter prospective clients. Part of me would like to find out, and see what actually happens! I would suspect that you don't get much for your money, but you never know. As an aside, I do have a good photo of the models but when I try to upload it here, I get this message: Error The server returned an error during upload
  23. Ha! I was there last night also. No off but I did enjoy the show. As stated above admission and one drink 400, second drink 250. Boy drink is 400. About the models: Mamasan confirms they are employed on a different basis. As Vinapu says, several are real stunners. I am guessing they are not primarily sex workers but rather are employed as eye candy. Mamasan says they can indeed be offed but off fee is THB 2000, and expected tip is 4000 - 5000. One of the models approached me and asked if he could sit with me. Before I could answer, Mamasan warned me that drink for model is THB 600. Ha! Of course I declined. I invited one the regular boys to sit with me, bought him a drink, and tipped him 300 when I left.
  24. To each their own. Bangkok has developed a sophisticated culinary scene, and I personally love to splurge on an exceptional meal, even if only very occasionally. I totally get that some people are not interested in that - but then why comment? I personally have zero interest in opera, but I would never post about the high cost of opera tickets. The fact that I might prefer to stay home and listen to the radio for free is of no interest to the artists who create opera or to the fans who might save up for months to attend a performance.
  25. Today is Makha Bucha day, and the bars are not allowed to sell alcohol. But does anyone know it the go-go bars will be open anyway? Or do they close altogether?
