  1. Vinapu you deserve platinum trophy for your reports and golden badge for stimulating thai economy!
  2. Question for those who neither have a boyfriend nor children: Who do you want to be your beneficiary? Friends? Nephew/Niece? Charitable organization? Do you try to spend as much as possible before you die so nothing is left? Interested in your thoughts!
  3. All people in this world are addicted to something. People in power are addicted to exerting control/power over people. The virus is a great reason/excuse to satisfy their addiction. I hope I could make your "i dont get it list" one item shorter - how long is it actually?
  4. Because there is also week 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, ...
  5. I did Test&Go in Phuket. Technically, there is not much difference between the 2: 1 night hotel booking versus 7 nights 1 PCR test versus 2 PCR tests Release letter (to be allowed to leave the island) after 1 day versus 7 days (noone cared about this) Not sure about guests after night 1 in case of Sandbox Booking for Phuket was a bit more complicated, since PCR tests have to be booked separately. Also there is probably a bit more correspondence with the hotel necessary, so that they issue the necessary papers (confirmation for prepaid hotel booking including airport pickup; also you probably still need a "SHABA ID", which you also get from the hotel). When I booked, there were no packages for Phuket on Agoda. So I booked the hotel on Adoda (because it had the best cancellation terms), booked the taxi by correspondance with the hotel, asked them for Shaba Id; for the PCR-tests there is a special website. And for the Thailand pass I had to put all 3 things back together to one jpeg (picture). After I got the negative test result, I didn't care about Covid too much anymore. Now in case of the Sandbox with a second test on day 6/7 (?) I would change my behaviour drastically to ensure the 2nd test will be negative, so no boys in 1st week, only eating outdoor etc. If they didnt change it, the first test is at the airport, and for the second test you can choose between different locations. You might need an international flight into Phuket, flying in via BKK is (probably still) not allowed.
  6. Next, I will finish watching "Baker Boys", which I loved from the first second of episode 1, and catch up with "Bad Buddy", which, while E1 and E2 were so so, is great from episode 3 on!
  7. I am way behind with all the new series. I guess its my own fault, why did I go on holiday to Thailand and have no time for watching series. Bite Me (2021) At the beginning I liked it, but then the story evolved a bit too slowly and Aek was so cold to Aue. Even though Aek is pretty cute, I liked the side couple Vich+Prem more. Aek What I really liked though were the amazing food pictures. According to the special episode (behind the scenes), they even opened a shop for online delivery where you could order the menu they cooked in the series, so you could watch the series while eating their food, what a great idea! And what I always enjoy are the deep dialogues like this one: or this one:
  8. You took it in the wrong direction!
  9. Does someone know what the purpose of the expiry date of the Thailand pass is? I thought it can be used for more entries within expiry date, is that correct? So theoretically I could go to Thailand again because I still have a valid TP, even with the suspension now?
  10. You have a good heart! Merry Christmas!
  11. Don't panic yet! Some media report "back to quarantine", some media report "back to Sandbox scheme" (wouldnt be that bad but doesnt make any sense), so let's just wait and see what will happen in the end, probably nothing will happen (unless Omicron turns out to be a really bad guy)
  12. I'd rather say the package is included in the boy.

    Thai Pass

Some posters in this forum must think that everyone who is coming to Thailand now must completely regret it. But I think so far none of us who came regret it. Au contraire! When I landed back home my first thought was I wanna take the next flight and go back to Thailand! When there was a lot of discussion about opening Thailand 2 months ago, I immediately thought Nov+Dec woudl be the best time frame to go even though many things were still closed. Jan 2022 was already to far in the future and now we have to see how Omicron affects further Thai opening plans.
  14. Having seen the menu there I expected something like this to happen!
  15. I found the animal clinic that is right next to the bar in the video: https://www.google.com/maps/place/โรงพยาบาลสัตว์+อเดย์+แอนิมอล/@13.8696085,100.4503848,647m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xbd6d85e33f4d5d8!8m2!3d13.8695839!4d100.4513749 The bar must be the building on the left, but in streetview the shutters are down. Looks pretty off the beaten track, but from MRT purple line station "Bang Rak Noi Tha It" it would be about 500m walk. Is that station already open?
  16. I thought it is interesting that hotels don't react to those "how long will I be confined" worries ... I would be a big business advantage if they would garantee test results within 3 hours. I guess many would pay a few bucks more to get the result within 3 hours. Then I saw the website of "The Quarter Silom", and they offer an express test for an extra 4500 baht, which is a bit high of a price in my opinion (offer valid until november, but is still on there website). They also drive you from airport to hospital and then to hotel, so no delay for taking the test, because with some hotels it is not clear if you will be tested immediately after arriving at the hotel. I would probably pay 50$ extra for getting the results within 3 hours if the alternative is 12 hours and I arrive at a time where the waiting time does not overlap with sleeping time,. How much would others spend? Are there any other hotels who offer express test?
  17. In addition to the vaccination many provinces have those barcodes who lead to an entry registration form. Not sure if they must currently be filled in or not. Flying to Chiang Mai, I asked the lady at check in counter in Suvarnabhumi and she said it is currently not necessary. At arrival in Chiang Mai they had posters everywhere to fill it in so I did nevertheless, but I was never required to prove it and I had the feeling I was the only one who filled it in. Maybe there are alternatives using some of those xxx-Chana-Apps.
  18. I think this information is slightly incorrect. Vaccinated passengers coming from high risk areas don't need to quarantine provided they transmit prove of vaccination before arrival. So, regarding quarantine, there is not much difference between before and after removal for vaccinated people. https://www.rki.de/DE/Content/InfAZ/N/Neuartiges_Coronavirus/Transport/Archiv_Risikogebiete/Risikogebiete_aktuell_en.pdf?__blob=publicationFile
  19. I meant the part "and emailed a picture of the result to the sha hotel". I thought we were supposed to upload it on Mor Chana app which I couldnt since I couldn't even register without an error message.
  20. Where does that requirement come from?
  21. I guess the gogo boys might still be more willing to undress if needed. I also got an offer of a private big cock show by one of the not yet open gogo bars - didnt ask for the price though.
  22. That's "Green Massage" - indeed massage is not only great but in addition the Burmese "Boys" are cute. They have girls too, but you can say you prefer a boy.
  23. You might be disappointed, condom size is only about 100 nanometers ...
  24. A week ago the door was open and a woman inside. I asked if it is open but she said no. Nevertheless I had the suspicion there might be something in the air. I guess there will be more gogo restaurants coming soon...
  25. Bangkok Saladaeng Road Senso closed. Soi Wallstreet (?) Moonlight closed. Patpong All the gay etablissements incl. Bangkok Massage looked closed. 1-2 Ladybars (restaurants?) open. Foodland + restaurant open. Silom Soi 4 Many places open and not all were restaurants. No shortage of alcohol. Well visited at the weekend. Jupiter closed. Silom Soi 6 Most of the massage places open and one of them advertising on Hornet. Tawan and The Sun massage no sign of life. The Quarter Hotel: pretty new (If I remember correctly z909 reported a year ago), compact rooms; before introduction of the Thailand Pass the room rates were a bargain, now a bit higher but I would say still ok. Visitors allowed (must/should register at reception). There are at least 2 other wellknown places in the area "discretely" open (one I heard from a boy, and for the other I talked with a guy at the place in the afternoon because the door was open). Silom Plaza Arena open. 5 "boys" available, age 30+, but not my type. The Best Massage open. Quite a few boys were sitting and smoking outside, let's say "manly twinks"? Saphan Kwai GBeat Massage open (there is a separate thread about this place). Reservation recommended - I did not but luckily one of the three boys I had in mind was available - a guy with amazing body and a toilet paper roll Massage was a bit repetitive (1 hour is enough) but left very satisfied. Take exit 3 at BTS station Saphan Khwai and while going down the stairs look to the left. You will see the name "Le Bonheur Poshtel" on a building, that's the building opposite of GBeat. There are other massage places in the same road, one looked gay.
