    Big big C

    omg same! 555 😂
  2. Others have given some great advice, but I can share your sentiment completely, and usually avoid booking hotels on that side of Surawong Road (although my last trip I stayed at Le Meridien and will be staying at the Raya in my upcoming trip.. I'm just going to have to 'suck it up' as they say..)
  3. Same same hehe. I try to make an effort to visit different countries but I always find myself wanting to return to Thailand.. it's addictive!
  4. I've had no issue bringing guests back to my room when I stayed at Ibis Styles. Just walk with your gentleman of the evening through the entrance, past the reception desks and straight to the lifts.
  5. Rich daddy 🤑🤑🤑
  6. Thanks for reporting - always love hearing about your adventures!
  7. I agree with you, but can understand if it was a 'once off' customer, but because Jason is quite a regular customer and known to the bar, it is a little disrespectful, no?
  8. Or make you die.
  9. I visited A-Bomb in January of this year as I was staying at the hotel directly above. On the night I went, it was very low on customer numbers (perhaps 3 or 4), and very low on boy numbers (I think only 1 or 2). The show still went on but I think it was outsourced as these boys left straight after the show. I only went that one time so I cannot comment on whether it would be busier on other nights or not.
  10. I noticed this too! Great to have many new gay venues popping up
  11. Thanks for confirming! I think I might try out 1/0 on my next trip, but I don't think I would be game to stay at a hostel lol, maybe one day just for fun
  12. Just had a look at some google reviews - Togayther Hostel Black is the one you would have seen sign-posted, and the original Togayther Hostel is a few blocks away.
  13. I stand corrected then. I got my information from google maps where 1/0 Sauna is in the soi directly across from Le Meridien, and Togayther Hostel in the soi that also houses Wall Street Inn. I also found out that the top floor(s) of 1/0 Sauna is called Togayther Hostel Black.
  14. A question for you to ponder - if you were to retire in Australia instead, how would you spend your days?
  15. I didn't really know about Derby King until I think someone mentioned it a while ago on the forum. Must have walked past it many times in the past without realising!
  16. As far as I can tell, the sauna and hostel aren't next to each other, but a short 4 minute walk. I do also believe that the sauna has opened up some accomodation on the upper floors, if I recall correctly. Hostels and saunas aren't really my thing either, but it sounds kinda fun. Maybe one day.
  17. So convenient when you are only 2.5 hour flight from BKK!
  18. ahaha welcome back! I love how you just randomly appear in bangkok lol. Have a great time! as for me, I am counting down the days...

    Good Boys

On my very first trip I couldn't spot it either because it is not right on the main road - it is set back a little bit. If you walk into the archway of The Pavilion Place, you will soon be able to spot it.
  20. No better place to express yourself than in Thailand. No one knows you here so it is a safe space to be yourself. I'm usually shy in my 'real life' but not so much when in Thailand.
  21. The bus!
  22. Sunrise Tacos on the corner of Silom Soi 4 for Mexican food which I've always enjoyed Lay Lao on Silom Road for great Thai Food Ros'Niyom in the basement level of Silom Complex also has decent Thai food, and there are many other restaurants on that level (as well as scattered around the complex) Jungko Bameekiaw on Convent Road for simple and tasty noodles (also a plethora of street food stall and numerous restaurants on this street) Ringer Hut near Thaniya Road for Japanese food Rolling Ribs at Le Meridien was quite good, but a bit pricey 90 Grams at Quarter Silom I've heard is quite good (pizza) but I haven't tried yet And there are many restaurants in Silom Edge which I've yet to try. Hopefully this helps. The great thing about Silom (or Bangkok/Thailand in general) is that there are a plethora of options of many different cuisines and differing price points. Let us know how you go
  23. Can vouch for Somtum Der! It's usually best after a visit to Senso (which is practically next door).
