Good idea. I'm thinking for my next trip (yes I know already just got back) I'd rather stay in Jomtien and just commute to boyztown to visit the bars etc before heading back to Jomtien.

Yep lol. I mean, if you have money to blow then why not, but I'd rather have 4-5 boys that will perform lol. He is pretty though.

I don't have any first-hand knowledge, but from what I have heard along the grapevine, he does go with guys but doesn't top or bottom, it's mostly, I guess, 'worship' of his body and side fun. And I think his tip is 10,000. Others may be able to advise.

The chosen Cambodian suggested it (and I think the papasan did also), but he mentioned that he hadn't done it before so I was a little apprehensive. But it all worked out as I had an amazing time with just him.

Chaichana on Patpong 1 (night market street) is open until 2am, but I'm unsure of what level of 'extras' they provide as I haven't tried them yet. Also Phetboy in the Saphan Kwai area is open 24/7.

Bangkok - part 3 I am back home already so this is the last part of my trip. Stayed in some hotels I haven't stayed at before, met some new boys as well as rekindled with some old ones, and I was fortunate enough to hang out with Vinapu 3 times! We started our nights having a drink at the front of Banana bar before heading off to a gogo bar. Hotels Ibis Styles Silom - I had a decent stay here. It is fairly new and quite clean, however the rooms are a little on the smaller side. The room layout is also quite interesting with an absolutely massive shower, and then the bathroom sink on the outside. It seemed to work though. I was on the highest floor of the rooms and had a nice view of a carpark. At least I had an outside view as the rooms on the other side of the floor faced towards the 'atrium' so they would have received no natural light. They are guest friendly with no-one batting an eyelid when bringing your gentleman of the evening. Would I stay again? Probably not, but it was worth giving it a try. Le Meridien - It was a highlight to stay at this hotel. From the get-go, the level of service and hospitality was unmatched compared to everywhere else that I stayed. I booked direct and had the Marriott Bonvoy app installed on my phone and they sent a notification when my room was ready - which happened to be at around 11:30am which meant I could just pop over from Ibis Styles without having to wait around. The app also allowed me to unlock my room without using the card. The room was huge and well-appointed and this hotel also is guest friendly. I had a 'beef brisket burger' from the restaurant downstairs, which is something I wouldn't normally get, but it was actually really delicious. Normally I would say that Crowne Plaza is my favourite in the area, but I think Le Meridien might just take the cake. The only reason I would choose Crowne over Meridien is the proximity to the BTS/MRT and also it is on the 'correct' side of Surawong Road. Bars Dreamboys - I've been here countless times so nothing much more needs to be said, and I ended up taking back my regular from here who I've known for a few years. I like him and we are comfortable with each other, but I get the feeling sometimes that he is becoming a little complacent in his efforts. The show was pretty standard, and there was another boy that I liked but as soon as I mentioned it, another customer took him off straight away. Have to be quick! Hotmale - It was a quiet night when I visited, but the show went on. Since there weren't many customers (and at one stage I was the only one), when the big cock show came around, I tipped them all (there were only 4 guys). Most of the guys I could have gone with and whilst choosing, I asked the papasan who can top AND bottom, and he pointed out only 2 guys who I then decided to call both down and have a drink. Turns out they are both Cambodian. Whilst trying to make up my mind as to who to take, it was suggested that I go with both but I didn't really want to risk an awkward encounter in case things didn't quite work out. I ended up choosing the guy that sat on my right as he was a little more playful, had more tattoos and kissed better, and the guy on my left was just very slightly fem, which isn't a bad thing but just not my thing right then. Turns out that I had made a good choice as the chemistry back in the bedroom was definitely there. Absolutely will repeat for next time. Moonlight - It was a quiet night at this bar with a few customers, but the show went on anyway, which as you probably already know, is pretty tame. The floor boys I probably could have gone with any of them, they were all pretty attractive, but I didn't that night. The models - a little too big for my personal taste, but attractive anyway. There was a guy that I had been with in the past, and Vinapu had also been with, and I had a selfie of him and me which I showed Vinapu and he told me to show the guy, so I did and he was pretty bewildered, I don't think he remembered me at all lol. There were also a couple of guys sitting near us that I think had bottle service and later on in the night one of the guys I think had passed out and his friend had to carry him out. Atlas - This was great fun. All the staff knew Vinapu as he is quite famous in these parts. The night started with one of the guys giving me a massage (I remember him from Tawan), and then the show which featured many appendages but no fuck show this time. The lady boy show at the end was absolutely hilarious though - made me laugh out loud. There was one guy that looked vaguely familiar so I invited him for a drink and turns out that I had offed him a year ago when he worked at what was then called Screwboys. He was really angling for an off, and gave me a boner right there in the bar, but I wasn't looking for company that night. I also bought another guy a drink who had a Muay Thai body and abs of steel, however he was very oily lol. He was pretty friendly and told me not to forget him next time I come. Earlier in the night there was a cute (masked) asian guy (customer) that sat quite close next to me even though there were many vacant seats in the bar. Overall, it was a really fun night with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Yes the boys are mostly huge, but there is a variety that would cater to all tastes. Other Massage - the only massage I had was an outcall. Earlier in my trip I had gone to Senso hoping to see a particular masseur that I had in the past, but he wasn't working there anymore. Luckily I had his Line contact so I contacted him and turns out that he works freelance at Prince and Jey Spa but would be happy to come to my hotel room. So I booked him to come visit me and we had an excellent and versatile time. Pattaya boy - this guy that I had met in Jomtien who gave me a bit of a boyfriend experience was trying to get me to come visit his hometown (about an hour outside of Bangkok) but since I had already paid for my hotels in Bangkok, I wasn't keen. He then wanted to visit me in Bangkok so I agreed for only 1 night, which he was happy with (I really am not a fan of long-time). We ended up having some drinks at Valour in Silom soi 4 (I had a huge gin and tonic that was served in a red wine glass) and we went to Silom soi 2 later in the evening, to DJ station, or at least to a bar in that general vicinity, not sure if it is all DJ Station. He seemed to know many of the staff there, and my body was already saying no, so I left him there to have fun (which he was completely fine with) and I went back to the hotel to sleep and he rang me later on when he was ready to come back. This guy is getting a little too attached to me, and I do like him too, but I have been trying to cool it a little because I cannot return the feelings back that he seems to have for me. He's a good guy though, really sweet. In the morning we went to foodland, and funnily enough he got the farang breakfast whilst I had a rice soup. Sexual health clinic - if you are looking to get tested, I would recommend Pribta Tangerine Clinic, which is in the Chamchuri building, close to Sam Yan MRT. I think it is cheaper than the more popular Pulse clinic. It is really well-run and pretty efficient. The clinic is very clean and neat and all the staff speak English. It was pretty busy when I went though. The results were emailed to me a few hours after I had left. Here in my home country, it takes a few days at least. So that marks the end of my 2 month trip. I have never taken a holiday this long before, but I am glad that I gave it a try. There were times where I was done and felt like coming home, but towards the end I needed more time! I got lazy often and was always saying 'I'll do it tomorrow' but then there were no more tomorrows left! But all in all I had a great time, and even got to meet with a few lovely forum members. This trip I also noticed more and more people thought I was Thai, which has happened in the past, but not to this extent. I take it as a compliment though. I'm planning my next trip for maybe a year's time, but who knows, the temptation may become too great and I will find myself back sooner rather than later. Thanks for reading!

I don’t really have much to add as I didn’t really venture far from the resort, however @bkkmfj2648 may be able to advise you further. There seemed to be lots of tourists around but I think the gay life is very minimal there.

This could be true, but to be honest, I really don't mind if they are older than they say. As long as they are cute, can perform well and we have a connection, that's all that matters to me!

Gulf of Thailand 'stint' - part 2 Leaving Samui was a pleasant experience - the airport is all (mostly) open-air and is quite nice. The flight prices on Bangkok Airways are quite high for domestic flights, but I understand that because Bangkok Airways owns the airport, they can do so. There are cheaper options which involve flying to Surat Thani (or others) but it is more time intensive. However, my experience on Bangkok Airways was quite pleasant. A meal was served even though the flight was relatively short. Arriving back at Suvarnabhumi, I had pre-booked a bus from Bell Travel Service (325 thb) which took me to North Pattaya Bus Station, and then to my hotel in a minibus. The big bus was comfortable with a 1-2 seat configuration. Jomtien I've been here a couple of times in the past and tbh never really had an amazing time but I was determined to make it work. And it did lol. Zing Resort and Spa - I've stayed here before and didn't think much of it, but I decided to try again and it was actually quite pleasant. The room and bathroom were quite roomy, there was a small balcony and the price was very cheap. Actually the cheapest of all the hotels I've stayed on my trip. Bars - In the past, the host bars in the complex usually intimidated me, however this time I made it work. I just strolled slowly down the main street and checked out the guys to see who was my type. Shortly, I found a guy that fits my general 'type' (I have lots of types) at Question Mark bar, and sat down with him to have a drink. He is only 2 years younger than me and his English skills were excellent and conversing was easy. I forget sometimes how cheap Pattaya/Jomtien can be - my drink, his drink and off fee only added up to 580 thb. He took me to M2M bar afterwards where we watched the show which consisted of ladyboy lip-syncing backed up by cute dancers. Back at the hotel he told me he could 'do everything' and he certainly did. Subsequently, I visited his bar the following night as well as taking him to the beach the day after. I'm pleased that the stars aligned that night and I was able to find a connection with someone (who now is in regular contact with me). Massage - I frequented Burirom on this trip. The first time, I received a foot massage from a cute guy and whilst receiving said foot massage, there was another guy who was totally my type working on another customer in the chair next to mine. I decided to test my luck the next day and again the stars aligned and the other guy ended up giving me a foot massage. During, there was a lot of eye contact as well as cheeky smiles exchanged. Later I found him on Hornet and scheduled a Thai massage for the next day. I knew there was a high probability of extras, but I decided to test the waters anyway and not wear any underwear underneath the pyjamas which are to be worn during a Thai massage. I could tell he was well-trained as he gave me a proper massage and we did end up having some light fun and he is quite sweet. Minimal English but he invited me to go to the temple later on. Beach - I went to Dongtan beach a couple of times. I could find 2 gay concessions no. 20 and no. 28 - marked by rainbow flags. I went to no. 20 first (with my friend from the bar) and had a relaxing time. Some good looking staff members there and even better when they took off their shirts. So easy to order food, drinks and whatever. A few days later I went to no. 28 and if the guys at no. 20 were good, the guys at no. 28 were even better. I spoke to a couple of guys that work there and they are from Myanmar, and there was one that was absolutely stunning. Just note that all the beach concessions are closed on Wednesdays - I did know this a long time ago, but I forgot and when I turned up on a Wednesday, I just had to sit in the sand lol. Pattaya After a few days in Jomtien I stayed a few days in Pattaya. I've been here before and the vibe here is different from Jomtien - Jomtien is definitely more relaxed. Hotel - I stayed at The Classroom, which was mentioned in one of Vinapu's trip reports some time ago. The hotel is mostly geared towards the straights, but they are very welcoming of the gay clientele (and it is situated very close to the gay venues). The rooms are nicely sized (bathroom a little small though), and quite simple but it does the job. There is also a discreet side door to enter that bypasses everything. The cost was reasonable and if you book direct, you get 100 thb credit for food at the hotel each day. I recommend the pizzas here - they are thin crust and delicious. The website was also very clear, and drinks are cheap (I paid 85 thb for a gin and tonic which I think is the cheapest I've ever paid. I am so used to paying 500 thb at the gogo bars in Bangkok lol). The ladies at the bar downstairs were also friendly and I chatted with them from time to time. Bars - X-boys didn't have the greatest quality of boys, but the show was creative, sexy and at times, explicit. There were some quite large (non-condomed) appendages on display. There is a show at 22:00 and 23:00. Across the soi in Dreamboys, the quality was much better, however there was no show. I did end up taking a guy off, was from Myanmar and spoke minimal English but he was totally my type. He was really sweet and excellent in bed. He did end up inviting me out drinking with his friends (in some other part of Pattaya) but I had to decline. I also went to A-Bomb which is in the same building as The Classroom. Very low in customer numbers, boy numbers (there were only 2 available), however the show still went on and there were some very nice appendages on display. Most of the show boys left afterwards though. Massage - last year I went to Paradise massage (which is just a few doors down from The Classroom), and had a particularly excellent time with a guy who did everything and I was hoping for a repeat, except he had gone home. There were a few other guys to choose from and I chose a nice looking Cambodian boy. He was pleasant, but the massage was very rough, his hands moved too fast and it was just all a bit haphazard. Afters were had, he came, I came, kinda satisfying but definitely no repeat there. So all in all, I had a pretty good time here and I look forward to returning at some stage, whenever that may be. I'm back in Bangkok now for the final part of my trip.

They are well-trained here, however depending on the chemistry with the masseur, and similar to all male-staffed establishments, nonsense can be had.

It varies from bar to bar. X-boys is 800, Dreamboys I think is 500, but I think BoyzBoyzBoyz is more expensive though.

This is a great discussion, and I think it just goes to show here in Thailand, most things are flexible and we just have to go with it and adapt. If the baht bus goes the wrong way, no big deal, just hop off and another one should be nearby. What's another 10 baht after all.. For those who are interested, I did successfully catch my first baht bus today on Thappraya road, however it was full and I ended up standing on the back which was a little nerve-wracking for me and I was holding on for dear life (not that the songtheaw was going super fast, but I still didn't like it). Some people got off before the intersection of Pattaya Sai and South Pattaya road so I just got off as well and walked the rest of the way. So now I know what to do and will likely do it again a few times in the next few days!
