Kokopelli, pls elaborate; ur comment is very enlightening. Cld u estimate how may farangs have relocated to Pattaya? Common features (age, origin, financial situation, sexual orientation, working/retired, etc)? Do they live with their young companions? Is such relocation a constant trend?

I researched both here and on the other website. My google map is full of blues for hotels, greens - food, yellow stars - tourism, red hearts - sex venues. Questions: 1) If I understand correctly (on Sawatdee it's explicit), there are no gogo bars in Jomtien Complex; only host bars and saunas. Why then is it so popular, including staying at hotels there? Aren't most members here interested in the two action zones (SP, BT)? What am I missing? 2) Someone mentioned 40-50% (loud) women audience at BBB. Is that always like that? Also at other venues?? For me, it spoils the atmosphere...

Olddaddy, with ur permission, I find ur question.....odd. Is there any social convention that precludes being nice within a business interaction..... ? To answer ur question: yes, I do. I dont send flowers to my GP or plumber, but I do send every now and then to my drycleaner and my car mechanic. Whenever I feel they deserve it for an above-and-beyond attitude. Do all of u farangs, mingling and conversing with locals, do that in Thai or English or Translator? The question is also pertinent to farangs taking one or more guys with u to one or more days together: how do u interact with them? Translator is tiring for long durations.....
