  1. On the other hand, if you don't copy and paste a photo thatt doesn't seem like such a violation to me. You're only posting your subjective impressions of the boy. And if your review is positive, he might actually appreciate the free advertising.
  2. Many years ago I left my wallet in the locker at Babylon. When I came back, I discovered someone had gotten in and taken about 600 baht, but thoughtfully left me with about 40 baht so I could still get home. I thought that was rather sweet, actually.
  3. apologies for the lengthy post but judging by some recent PM's there's an interest among newcomers in all that bar liturgy and customs. Liturgy? Yes it is rather like the Catholic Church, isn't it. I hadn't thought of that. :-)
  4. Yes. I thought that image was perfect too. It made me laugh.
  5. I tried Sauna Mania once. It was Ok, but almost entirely sticky rice, except in the darkroom. Just one experience, but it seemed mostly they weren't interested in farang. I told a Thai friend about going to Sauna Mania. He laughed and said, "the sauna for the office girls."
  6. Thanks for a beautifully crafted story. I feel I have known both of you for years. The slow fade of Monboy, from big cock hot lively golden brown smiling urban chaotic enthusiastic sensual embrace to the slow fade sepia toned quiet and thoughtful Burmese farmer: a perfect diamond of a story. Very moving. Sentimental and real both. Thanks again.

Aww you caught me. Clever you.
  8. Monboy came from a more restrictive country to Thailand. He too is a foreigner. Being young and excited about the perceived freedom of his adopted country, he may be exaggerating, to himself as well as others, the acceptability of PDA. In addition, you are younger and probably better looking than 90% of money boy clients, so he may be flaunting you a bit to the other money boys and locals. This of course wouldn't at all take away from the fact that he likes you and is a sex hungry animal. :-)

Ummm...it was tongue in cheek. Wasn't that obvious? Would a smiley faced icon have made it clearer? :-)

I too felt a great sense of relief at being spared reading about the best blow job you've had in years and blowing your load in no time flat. And if I had had to read about the small amount if cum he produced, well, that would have been a huge disappointment.
  11. The Talking Thai English Thai phrasebook by Benjawan Poomsan Becker is a good dictionary app at a very reasonable price, with lots of swear words, including an indication of just how bad they are, from mildly impolite to vulgar/don't ever use. It's a resource I use almost every day. (For translation purposes, not JUST for swearing!)
  12. It's easy. We go to a Twink bar. I point; you buy; I wear. Like buying accessories for your boyfriend of the day. Only this time it's ME! :-)
  13. That's "twink," not "drink" ;-)
  14. Wlll then Mr Vinapu when you are being a millionaire in Thailand you can take me out and buy me a twink or two. Win/win.
  15. Having worked in the geriatric field for 35 years, I certainly agree with most of the advice here, especially re: exercise. But two underestiated items: 1. Don't be poor. That is the #1 social determinant of health. Likely not a roblem for ppl on this blog. 2. Have a wide, loving and supportive community of family and/or friends. Hugely underestimated, but every study shows this is critical to living longer and healthier, It is my one fear that, if I retire to Thailand with Dear Husband, I will be losing the community I have here in North America, and may not be able to replace it.
  16. Wow! Two facials in one day. Your skiin must be porcelain smooth now.
  17. Low season lasts through the end of the rainy season, some time in October. Then I think it would be accurate to call it "shoulder season" until early December.
  18. Nice report, thanks. "Exploring and experimenting?" Details would be nice, but that's your choice, of course.
  19. I have been to Thailand 25+ times, but only once during the rainy season. That year when I went to Babylon, three very hot men there jumped at me, two gorgeous smooth twinks and one handsome muscle guy. I know absolutely they wouldn't have even glanced at me in January. I had some the hottest free sex ever that rainy season, and I was already 63 years old! I would think that in the money boy scene, fewer farang mean more available boys, possibly at a lower price. If my schedule allowed, I would go to Thailand during rainy season in a heartbeat.
  20. Maybe you should consider hiring one of the guides advertised elsewhere on this site. It doesnt seem too expensive and you'd have a nice guy to show you around on your virgin tour.
  21. I've become quite fond of Nong Khai, on the Mekong River near the Friendship Bridge to Lao. Not much of a gay scene but a bit of a vibe. If you are willing to cross the border and pay the extortionist fee for a Lao visa (1800 baht) you can try out Vientiane, where there seem to be lots of willing boys on Grindr and Hornet. Unfortunately I was with my husband and didn't get to sample the wares. There are some nice cheap hotels in Nong Khai with a view of the river. I love the street food there. There is quite a strong Vietnamese influence and we found a place that served exquisite Vietnamese style crepes. The Isan style street food has me drooling, all that sticky rice, grilled pork, Isan style phad thai and som tam. And then there is the Isan warmth that I find appealing. Whether it morphs into another kind of warmth, I'm doubting, but ya never know!
  22. Thanks everyone for the useful information. I will be visiting HH this winter to see a friend there and play bridge with her. But I expect to have lots of time on my hands, too. I note some possible money boys there on Hornet, but maybe they are really across the bay in Pattaya. I'm probably too "mature" to get a free one, but one never knows.
  23. I am one of those who feel more positive about he blog recently, but hadn't connected it to the suspensions. But now that you mention it, I think that may be the reason I feel more like contributing. I found the sniping quite tedious, and it made me skip whole threads, as once it started, it never seemed to stop. So my thanks to the moderator.
  24. How love can complicate life. And maybe it was a slip of the keyboard, but you did call Burboy "the" love of your life, not "a" love of your life. He sounds like such an incredible catch! And you've caught him, but you can't keep him. There is irony here; pain and passion and exhilaration and deception, too. Love is a stranger in an open car, Who tempts you in and drives you far away... http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=8144 (For those who remember the Eurythmics)
