I have been helping my regular boy with monthly payments for the house he built for his parents in Ha Tinh, Vietnam, for a year now. It was my last night in Bangkok and I was feeling generous. But i am not surprised if some of the very generous Jupiter customers also give similar if not larger tips!

What a difference a few days make. I was at Maxis at twilight on Tuesday night. Crowd was sparse. Every bar had few customers. Then the crowd picked up on Thursday night. Last night (Friday), the place was packed! Such good fun seeing people in and out. The Hotmale promoters were dancing happily. Even Bangkok Massage had several customers going in. Looks like it's gonna be a festive and fun Christmas. Unfortunately, I am going back today. Shucks!

I was in at midnight last night. 400 baht cover charge at entrance. I looked in. No singing. Jupiter boys on stage on rotation after show. Paid 400 baht. The singer only arrived at 12:30am and singing started. His partner came 15 minutes later. 4 groups of customers. 2 groups of farang ladies and guys seated and just enjoying the music. One group of 5 chinese men and woman were playing drinking game with a Jupiter boy. Another group of 2 guys and 2 ladies were doing same thing with another Jupiter boy and a mamasan. They seem local. At about 1:25am, a birthday cake was brought in and everyone started singing. It was the birthday of one of the ladies. At 1:30am, all the Jupiter boys who were seated left the bar. I guess it's time to knock off. Some customers came in from 12:45am onwards for the music. They only paid for their drinks in drinks menu. No cover charge. A man and lady from the Chinese group went on stage to sang two songs. While they sang well, i was there to listen to the Thai boys! Thank goodness they resumed singing. At 2am, i decided to call it a night. Went to the Thai boys and tipped them 1000 baht each.

I was at Hot Male last night. Hot Male's first show starts the earliest among all the bars in Soi Twilight. I was in at 9.30pm to look at boys on stage. At 9.45pm, the show started. Short show. 30 minutes. There are some muscle boys who will not look out of place in Moonlight and Jupiter. Drinks is 400 baht if i remember correctly. Before i left, i passed 200 baht tip to a good looking guy on stage.

I visited Classic last night at about 10:30pm. About 5 customers. All the boys, including the 2 black brief coyote dancers were standing on the stage shoulder to shoulder. About 15 altogether. No rotation. No dancing. Just boys on stage looking at customers trying to catch their attention. Most of the boys are the same whom I saw a year ago. The place is badly managed. Its location at the end of Soi Twilight already puts it as a disadvantage and yet management has done nothing to improve things - at the very least, get the coyote boys to dance! I sat down next to a mamasan who was seated down at the far end. That way, none of the other mamasans dared to approach. Drinks at 380 baht. What! The other bars at Twilight cost 350 baht. Another example of bad management. Many of the boys don't seem to be in good shape. Some cute twinks but Screwboys has much cuter ones. I recognise one boy. The previous night as I went to 24 hour store to get water, i walked past Twilight after it had closed. The Classic boy was waiting for his Grab ride home. I briefly considered whether to off him but i decided to spend my last night at Maxis and Jupiter people watching and listening to music. In fact, earlier on i already had short time fun with boy from Screwboys from 8pm to 9:30pm. And afternoon was spent at Baan Tewa for massage. So i really didn't need any more fun. After i finished my orange juice, i tipped mamasan and waiter 50 baht each. Then gave 200 baht to Classic boy whom i had considered offing. Plus 100 baht each to the 2 coyote boys. I always had a soft spot for dancing boys (even if they didn't dance at all!)

Problem is that there are other tall buildings surroundinb Mahanakhon and I was at ground level and looking up. The other buildings blockdd Mahanakhon. Nope. I didn't step on glass. I'm actually terried of heights!

I went to MahaNakhon today on the spur of the moment after lunch at 1pm. Price is 850 baht inclusive complimentary drink. Nice view I must say. I actually looked at Google Maps and thought it was behind W Hotel. Must be the compass orientation. I didn't realise it was so near Silom Road. In fact, it's nearer to Arena than to BaanTewa. I agree I should have planned better and gone at 5pm then I would have been able to take in the sunset. After MahaNakhon, I went for massage at BaanTewa. Same high quality service from them. So a happy last day spent in Bangkok. Now go for foot massage before embarking last night of my last trip this year.
