Before going to Saphan Kwai, I had afternoon snack at Taco Bell below Raya hotel which opened this year. Not open 24 hours though so Foodland still remains place to go for meals after midnight.

I did visit two bars - Jupiter since happened to be in Soi 4 having drinks at Circus and Moonlight because Raya was nearby. Poppy was singing at Jupiter on Saturday night and I said hello and tipped him. Models handsome as usual but I wasn't offing anyone. Half full with Asian customers when we left. Moonlight on Friday midnight was quiet affair. 10 models plus 5 floor guys and they were more than the number of customers! Boss, whom I was infatuated with, was there. But I couldn't off him. I will have to wait when I visit alone next time.

I was with my guy most of the time. I missed him very much so I decided to come again on weekend to see him. He was also feeling down because of personal issues so my arrival cheered him up. We did not go far from Raya hotel room. We kept within Silom Patpong area and enjoyed each other's company. We ate Singapore chicken rice at basement of Silom Complex, had drinks at Circus in soi 4, supper at Happy Beer Garden and finally Foodland. During the day time when he was working, I went to Phoenix Massage at Saphan Kwai. Taking taxi to Saphan Kwai was quite quick and convenient if going by highway. Of course I had to pay highway toll. Laos guy at Phoenix guy didn't speak any English but no problem. He was very eager and gave good service. Taking motorcycle taxi back to BTS was a hair-raising experience. The rider rode fast and made sharp turns to weave in and out between traffic. I had to hold onto the seat tightly. A quick ride for 40 baht and I would have walked if not for the fact that I wanted to go and meet my guy after he finished work.

Here's my report on short weekend trip two weekends ago. It was only two nights in Bangkok. Landed at airport at 8pm on Friday evening and took flight at 12 noon on Sunday. 40 hours in total. Since I didn't feel need to swim in swimming pool, I chose to stay at Raya. I have fond memories of nights in Raya when Soi Twilight was still operating. I met my regular guy from Soi Twilight all those years ago and we had enjoyable nights in Raya. When I told him that I booked Raya, he smiled and replied, "I remember."

There are now far fewer Vietnamese guys at FB. But I shall not digress this topic to Freshboys. It is after all topic on Tawan and Atlas guys.

Aha! No wonder my guy at FB said there were new Myanmar guys working at his bar. Now I know where they came from.

I walked past there two weeks ago as I was staying at Raya. Looks like back entrance to condominium. I wonder if there will be apartments in condo available on Airbnb?

Last Saturday night after Freshboys closed, about 7 to 8 of its guys were seated at green carpet stairs at about 1.30am. They were waiting for friends at Good Boy to close at 2am then they would go out to eat together. Photo taken in daytime to show location.

When I stayed at Ibis Styles Silom and I arrived in Silom by BTS, I walk to Park Silom and take the escalators to ground floor. Handy when I had luggage on wheels.

This weekend

Actually I don't think there's much to write about. Meeting regulars and spending time with favourite guy.

199 baht is cheap! I must try it one day. For watching people while eating, I think Foodland and G's are the best places.

Enjoy Ibis Styles! I think it's a great location and has modern facilities. I stayed at Ibis Styles in May and July but I am staying at Raya this coming weekend.

Of course I can't do that! But I get up close and personal with handsome face!

I find it costs about the same as a drink in bar. And I get to chat with the guy more!

Happy Beer Garden is a nice place to eat as well. It is on Surawong Road directly opposite Raya Hotel. There are some small rooms for karaoke at the back. Fun to take guys to watch and hear them sing.

Not possible every weekend. Every month probably.

Why am I writing this trip report now? Because I am going back to Bangkok next weekend! So that's another trip report!

Sunday morning was spent lazing in room. I checked out at noon then crossed Silom Road to go to Sun Massage at soi 6. Sun Massage used to be known as Natural Massage. After change of ownership, the name was changed. One of the new co-owners used to own Sun Massage next to Tawan. I had made a booking with a guy upon recommendation of forum member and his recommendation was spot-on! This guy has probably the best body among all the guys in Silom Surawong area. He is muscular and even his back is well defined. I found out that he gyms regularly which explains his fantastic body. He also has a great attitude. I am adding him to my list of regular massage guys! After massage, I met forum member at Foodland for lunch and I thanked him for his recommendation. We chatted till 2pm then I made my way to airport to end off a terrific weekend!

The trick is to sit at chair facing the window. Also pay attention to doors and main entrance as guys can walk in to go to Foodland supermarket. Also need to sit at the right time. After the bars close at 1am. Possible to see guys from 7pm to 9pm. Some might have dinner at Foodland and that presents opportunity to chat with them and pay for their meals. Quite a number of guys will pass by at 9pm but they are in a rush to report to work.

In the end, we didn't find and buy the muay thai shorts at Patpong market. I realise that it's ultimately better without any shorts...

There were Muay Thai shorts for sale at the souvenir shop. I asked my guy if he would like a pair. He said no after finding out they cost between 1200 to 2000 baht. "I can buy in Patpong market. Cheaper."

If I could be with forum member for the rest of the evening, I would do so because I enjoy his company and we have had memorable adventures in the past. But my guy was waiting for me at 5.30pm after he finished work. We met and took a taxi to Rajendaram Stadium to watch Muay Thai. Our first time. I bought the cheapest seats at 1000 baht each which was free seating at the top level of the stadium. But it still provided a good view of the Muay Thai matches. The first match was at 7pm and the last match ended just before 10pm. My guy enjoyed himself tremendously. There were 3 KOs that Saturday night. Crowd was 90% foreigners, mostly Western tourists with some Asians. My guy and I made 100 baht bets on the matches against each other. He managed to pick the winners correctly. After muay thai, we took taxi back to hotel. We had an intimate two hours together then we went out for supper at 1am Foodland with forum member. While at Foodland, I saw a guy from Freshboy walk past outside the window. I waved to him and he came in to join us for supper. He's a popular guy and gets offed often. But tonight, he didn't get an off surprisingly. My guy had an enjoyable chat with him while I enjoyed looking at his very handsome face. At 2am, we said goodbyes to each other and so ended a memorable Saturday in Bangkok. 20250712_213500.mp4
