The only good thing about the 45 minute immigration queue was that when I was done, my luggage was on the conveyor belt and ready for me. I took the escalator down and saw big crowd at taxi queue. I decided to take the train instead to get to Raya Hotel. Arrival at airport on a Friday evening was mad! Many arrivals, mostly from European countries. Long queues. I had to wait 45 minutes. And this was because the immigration officials were scrutinising Asian individuals. I could hear questions such as "Where you stay in Thailand?" and "How many days you stay?" Isn't all the information already submitted online? I believe the officials wanted the individuals to give the responses directly themselves. I also saw them being asked to open their handphones to show their online submissions. Obviously, being a solo traveller and being Asian, I was worried that the same scene would befall me. I thought of questions they might ask. "Why you come to Thailand almost every month?" "Last year you come 2 times. This year you come 8 times." But when it was my turn, no questions were asked. The immigration lady smiled at me and let me off! I wonder if she knows why I come so many times 😜

So I am finally going to Bangkok again this Friday after a lengthy absence of two months! Can't wait to meet and kiss my guy! You can request for your favourite genre of music. They will be happy to play it for you. Normally, it's English pop hits. When there are Thai customers, the music changes to Thai pop. I once saw a group of Indians celebrating a special occasion at the sofa inside. And yes, Indian Bollywood music was being played loudly over the speakers!

I miss staying at Le Meridien. I started staying there after Covid when prices were less than 3000 baht during promotion. But now that prices are back to pre-Covid at 5000 baht, it's out of my budget!

1500 to 2000 baht rates for short time is available by freelancers on Grndr and other apps. At the bars, there is a sort of minimum fixed price set by the management. This makes it easier for clarity and consistency when customers ask mamasans about the cost for short time. A minimum fixed price protects the guys from customers who may want to pay less. But of course, the guys are welcome to accept a lower fee when customer negotiate directly with them for services that exclude sex e.g. accompanying customer to another bar to drink.

Freshboys is packed with customers most nights. Business is good for bar although the guys don't get as many offs as they would like to. This is because most customers go to Freshboys to watch the show. And #31 is one of the stars of the show! He's a friendly guy and a brilliant pool player. I took him out to play pool with my regular guy once.

My regular guy told me the following information. "Since November 17, all Vietnamese passport holders who have been to Bangkok two times cannot go to Bangkok anymore. All Vietnamese passport holders will be allowed to enter Thailand only twice in 2026." His information is from travel agent who arranges visa runs for Vietnamese in Thailand.
