Perhaps, each of the three major Pattaya male enticements areas has its own rituals...Boyztown has the boys onstage facing the customer, Sunnee the boys are more often in the audience, Jomtien boys are anxious to pull in customers and have a drink with them - if that doesn’t happen they go back to their perimeter perch which puts their backs to the customer. I tend to begin at @Home bar and buy a Cambodian lad a drink and get him to introduce me to his “friends”. Three offs in the last three visits...two of which have been threesomes.

I’ve has two great offs from Screwboys - one Thai, one Vietnamese. AND, one that was a washout. Two out of three ain’t bad.

As of today, it will be one month until I return to Thailand...I posted in this topic thread earlier. So, I was amused to see that my Line had messages from a massage guy in Bangkok I took a liking to asking if I was coming back next month. I had two messages from a Cambodian guy I offed in Pattaya telling me how much he was looking forward spending time with me next month. And, on WeChat I had several messages from a Vietnamese guy (Van) , I've offed every trip - except when he's back home. He wanted to let me know he was in Bangkok and working there. PaulSF reports that Van is working at X-Boys. I mention all this because it's similar to all that's reported above, though -at least in the first two cases - demonstrates some guys do have some sort of calendar as they were specific about a November visit. In Van's case, I suspect he just assumes I'll show up at some point (accurate assumption). I'll need to go back to my Basic Vinapu Learnings to recall about offing massage guys for long/short time.

Lots of excellent information in this topic thread. I keep in touch using both Line and WeChat. My incoming messages increase when word is out that I'm on my way back. If I know I will be offing one guy from a club for more than one night, I pay the first (and sometimes) the 2nd) night's fee in person in the club. If there are more nights, I give the off fee to the guy who can pay the club the extension. As noted in the topic thread, guys leave and guys change. Many who leave, do return - and those who do will let you (me) know.

As of August, Dreamboys was still popular and often crowded BUT this is a result of large groups of Chinese customers who arrive shortly before show time. That said, lots of boys, decent show - but pretty similar to the shows I've seen there over the past five years. Most popular stops now for shows are Jupiter and Moonlight.

In August, I offed one of the non-stars from the rotation. Off fee was 500 thb, short time 2000 thb. There are usually many more than 10 boys dancing in a rotation with the 4 or 5 "stars". They can be offed pretty quickly. The mamasan I talked with indicated the stars are offable but the Moonlight fee is higher than for someone from the rotation and the"stars" have their own expensive pricing. The "stars" oftern get taken by the women who buy bottles and entertain the "stars".

Moonlight is active on Facebook, posting photos or a video from the shows most days.

"awareness" - for me, it's instructive, to stop and think about how words I use have impacts. Some of which are unintended. As noted in an early post on this topic "boy" is demeaning and insulting when used in addressing or referring to an African-American male in the USA. The last few days here in TumpAmerican, many folks have been tripping over their tongues in trying to navigate the currents of politics and the MeToo movement. Since, I haven't gone back and read my reports and posts, I'll take the approach everything is perfect. BUT, will use "guys" going forward. And, if businesses want to use "Boy(s)" in advertising and conversations, well that's for them to decide. I'm only able to be "responsible" for myself.

Last month when I was in Pattaya and Bangkok, there was at least one night in each city when there was a deluge. I waded out to see what might be happening...in both cases the boys had arrived before the rain but customers were few and none (other than me). Lots of choice...lots of attention...lots of fun.
