  1. If you are iPhone user, you have “Emergency SOS” function on iOS11 which calls local emergency services automatically just by clicking the side button 5 times. It also sends text messages to your listed emergency contacts that you triggered SOS. Your medical condition/ medications can be viewed from a locked screen. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT208076
  2. I am sorry to hear that OP had a bad experience with a Vietnamese boy. However I am a little surprised OP believed everything what the boy said basically a sales talk to him in the bar. An avid reader of the late Rush’s blog would recall that most gogoboys would say “ I’d do anything” but all it means “anything straight man would do” or “anything within my limit”
  3. Since you mentioned #24, I have been watching him.Oh boy, he is making a killing! On the first night I watched he was offed late night, 2nd night when I got there, he was already sitting with a customer. When he appeared on the stage, he smiled shyly to the customer which I guess made the gentleman quite happy. They left about 10:30. And then around 12:00 I noticed he was with a different customer holding hands in the bar and shortly they were gone. No wonder boys these day prefers short times. With some recent new Vietnamese boys there were 40 boys parading on the weekends. When I recall there were only 15 boys the last days of Jupiter2002 at the old location, I think the management is making a great effort to recruit boys.
  4. Enjoy! Don’t forget to visit Jupiter at Soi 4. Recently some cute Vietnamese boys joined the bar, particularly #23 24. Show time 10:15 drink 300 baht
  5. Haha I noted #23 too. Not because he is my type but he looks just like Brent Everett! well at least Asian version of the Canadian porn star. He smiled at me too.
  6. Drink price is now 300 baht. I went there last weekend,it was 120% full with mostly Asian. There seems a few farang expats too including a guy with an entourage, who apprerently owns a boy massage in Silom. For those who are familiar with old Jupiter2002 boys, One of star boys of old Jupiter #44 has now moved back to Jupiter2018. When the bar moved to Soi 4, he didn’t move with them but joined a new Boys66. When I found him on Jupiter stage, I was shocked and immediately called him to find out why he rejoined. He jokingly said “ hello I am a new boy”
  7. I just finished watching all 6 episodes and I liked Cambodian one best. Very impressed by a mine detecting rat.
  8. Have you checked if your airline let you board the airplane without onward ticket? Some airlines may refuse you from boarding and insist on buying a return ticket if you are entering Thailand on visa exempt. If you are planning overland crossing from neighbouring countries, you should note that you can enter Thailand only twice a year by land.
  9. I heard that a very popular handsome boy of Dreamboy Bangkok had a bike accident and broke his leg. I wish him a speedy recovery. Most of us get paid in the similar situation while in employment but I wonder if he gets any from Dreamboy. Sometime we forget how precarious boys working life is. No doubt some of his loyal customers would receive “help me” LINE messages.
  10. The Green Massage? I have read a really funny massage report in which a straight guy was offered HJ in the shop. The guy was totally shocked and declined the special service.
  11. #69 is Bang. 185cm tall and 20 years old from Chang Mai. When he asked me to guess his age I said 26 and he was offended! He pointed out Cambodian boy #34 Nuk and said “He is very old, 29! He is certainly not muscular but has very gentle smile. He likes drinking and fun to be with. However I have an impression he maybe a bit choosy about customers.
  12. allan1990, Jupiter’s head mamasan Ti is very efficient and good at castomer care. If you tip him he would be very helpful. However Jupiter boys are muscle hunks but they are not beefy or stocky like in Tawan.
  13. There is a plot hole in this plan. The Op has only one night so he must select a boy who is willing to do over night. Some beefy muscle guys won’t do long time for some reasons. In my September visit to Dream Boy, there were only two boys I would call beefy/stocky. So I strongly recommend Tawan especially he says he is a shy type. Unlike Dreamboy, Tawan guys approach customers freely so it’s easier for a newbie.
  14. I have picked up taxis from Tawan after midnight many times as I normally stay at the hotel about 10 min. taxi ride from Suriwong area. Some drivers refuse saying your hotel is too far away,15 min. taxi ride? but there are plenty of taxis in the area so you should be able to pick up a meter taxi quite easily. I presume you are offing Tawan guy right? Show the Tawan guy your hotel card and let him pick up the taxi so taxi driver won’t charge tourist price like 300 Baht. It costs around 80-120 Baht to Asoke area depends on the route. Make sure that the hotel won’t charge you joiner fee.

  16. 17. Dear Vinapu, The pleasure is all mine. Thank you for your time and effort to create such a fabulous trip report. I loved reading about detailed daily activities like what you ate, what you bought and of course your review of gogo bars, massages, all the information about who you offed, long/short time, tip you paid, your impression of the boys etc. However what I loved most was what you didn’t write. It was your respect for the boys and how graciously you treated them. I am happy to hear you had a fabulous time in Thailand. I wish you all the best for future trips. P.S. Did I miss your daredevil motorcycle ride to Hua Lamphong?
  18. Smoking will be banned on 20 major Thai beaches from November. And smokers who flout the law will face a year's jail or a 100,000 baht fine....or both. The strict penalties are in line with existing ordinances concerning causing damage to the environment. Studies have shown that cigarette butts are a major cause of environmental damage not just to the sea and beaches but Thailand in general. And the government - in a step by step by step approach - is targeting smokers as it tries to rid the country of an unwanted tag as one of the biggest environmental polluters in the world. No mention was made about smokers' health in a Daily News story - the Thais are getting more concerned about the well being of the environment. Smoking will be banned in November as the tourist high season gets rolling in many high profile locations - these include all beaches in Pattaya, Jomtien, Phuket, Cha-Am, Hua Hin and Bang Saen. Others mentioned in the story were in Pangnga and Samila in Songkhla, Mae Phim and Laem Singh. Environment ministry expert Jatuporn Burutphat said that studies - particularly one in Phuket - showed that cigarette butts made up a major proportion of all trash on beaches and in the sea. Surveys revealed up to 138,000 butts on each 2.5 kilometer stretch of Thai coast. Nationwide there are thought to be 100 million cigarettes discarded each day. When leached of their harmful contents by water, potentially deadly substances such as cadmium and lead enter the environment and food chain. No new laws need to be made. The authorities will use ordinances passed in 2015 about damage to the environment. These allow for one year prison terms and 100,000 baht fines or both. Jatuporn said that people will not be allowed to walk along the beach and smoke. A certain proportion of smokers' cigarettes would always end up on the beach if that was permitted, he said. So smokers will have to stub out their cigarettes at places that will be set up before entry to beaches. Authorities will be on hand to enforce the law, he said. Also plans are being made to enforce the no smoking law on all passenger boats and pleasure boats in Thai waters as cigarettes discarded directly into the sea are a major problem. Jatuporn said that Thailand would host a major ASEAN environment conference in Phuket from October 22 to 23 in which sea and beach trash issues will be top of the agenda. He said that he was determined to do something serious about the tag of "sixth worst polluter oif the ocean in the world" that has been applied to Thailand this year. 19. Thanks again for great report. I pressed the imaginary SUPER LIKE button again.
  20. ct2005, Thaniya Bar Beer is a roadside makeshift night time only food stall on the Soi direct opposite to Thaniya Plaza’s car park entrance. Attached is a daytime view of the Soi.
  21. I wish there was a “SUPER Liked” button here! There must be a guardian angel smiling at you on Day 11, as you often mention it. First ex porn star and Mr Tam #60? You are so lucky. When I visited old Jupiter earlier this year and last year, he seemed almost always “reserved” for customer i.e. without number tag, I was wondering how far ahead I need to make an appointment to off him. He is undoubtedly one of the star of Bangkok gogo scene and certainly has a star quality. I saw him entering Jupiter as a customer accompanying a female client in June it seemed the whole bar lighted up with his smile! I was too wondering why he left and didn’t come back to the new Jupiter. I could hire him just for holding his hand.
  22. When I book my Bangkok holiday I always check Chinese National holidays these days. ************************************************* BANGKOK, 4 October 2017 (NNT) – The Ministry of Tourism and Sports is ready to welcome and accommodate an influx of Chinese tourists during the eight-day Golden Week holiday in China, from Oct 1-8. Permanent Secretary of the Tourism and Sport Ministry is ready to welcome Chinese tourists during the Golden Week. Permanent Secretary for Tourism and Sports Pongpanu Svetarundra said the ministry has forecast that about 260,000 Chinese tourists will visit Thailand during the Golden Week, up 35 percent from the same period last year. Mr Pongpanu said China's leading travel website reveals that Thailand is the top attraction for Chinese tourists during the Golden Week. According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Chinese tourists will likely spend their holidays in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Samui Island. The Chinese tourists are expected to generate revenue of over 11 billion baht for the country during China's national holiday. https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/1005326-thailand-ready-for-influx-of-chinese-tourists-during-golden-week/
  23. Surely a Kodak moment. lol Vinapu, you are a tease. Poor guy.
  24. UK yes. But in Thailand? Not so sure. I see a lot of news about a jealous husband killing his wife with gun in Thailand. I hear news about college student fighting each other with guns. Last month, I went to see a popular Thai horror movie called “ The Promise”. The story was two high school girls promised to commit suicide together with the gun stolen from her parent. Also later in the film the ordinary non criminal mother pulled a gun from safe in her house when threatened with a intruder. Availability of guns to the ordinary Thai citizens portrayed in this film was shocking rather than its ghost in the film.
  25. What was he thinking? ****************************************** 1 Oct 2017 by Bangkok Post An Australian national has been caught red-handed for allegedly stealing a Thai passenger's luggage at Suvarnabhumi airport, prompting police and airport authorities to remind travellers to keep a close eye on their belongings. Suvarnabhumi Airport police and airport security officers arrested John Robertson on Saturday as the 54-year-old Australian stood at a bank's foreign exchange bank counter in the departure hall - along with a luggage trolley belonging to a Thai passenger. The arrest followed a complaint filed with police by a woman from Chiang Rai, whose name was withheld, that her trolley - loaded with three bags - was stolen after she left it outside a toilet on the fourth floor of the departure hall. Police and airport authorities checked CCTV footage and saw a man - identified as Mr Robertson - taking the trolley into a restroom for the disabled nearby, and then walking to the foreign exchange booth, where he was captured. The Australian admitted stealing the trolley and opening the bags, police said, but denied stealing anything inside. He told the police that he was travelling to Australia from Thailand. A check of the man's travel record revealed that he had frequently entered and left Thailand over the past 12 years. He stayed in Bangkok and Hua Hin district in Prachuap Khiri Khan while in the country, according to the police. The Thai woman checked her belongings and did not find anything missing before continuing her journey to Dubai, the police said.
