  1. Last night was the official grand opening party of My Favorite Diner in the Jomtien Complex, aka Supertown. Unfortunately, I could not make it. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1AHMi5jE8A/ They have a new type of Happy Hour promotion for those who enjoy soft ice cream (Carvel type).
  2. I would like to share an essay prepared by Youtube blogger = Logan in Thailand about the recent passing of the famous Thai blogger = Hlun Solo. Logan shed light on why the Thai people are deeply mourning the loss of Hlun Solo, which Logan states is because Hlun allowed for the expansion of the mental horizons of Thai people who dreamed of traveling abroad but have limited abilities in English. Hlun showed the Thai people that even with bad English skills that it is possible to travel the world alone and still enjoy yourself. Also, Hlun showed the Thai people that it is possible to break from the collectivist mindset of doing everything together and to be able to break out and explore the world outside of Thailand on your own. It was Hlun's courage that created this dream in many in the Thai population. I hope that you all enjoy this 8 minute essay as much as I did.
  3. I can confirm what mauRICE wrote above. You may remember, I volunteered to the Supertown bowling organizers to be the designated farang sponsor of the Sunee Bar so that they could participate in the Jomtien Pride Bowling competition. Previously to the actual competition date I met with the team several times over at the bowling alley for our team practice sessions and also over at their bar. What I learned about the inner workings of the Sunee Bar were very illuminating and probably apply to many of the other entities in the Jomtien Complex aka Supertown: There are 4 types of "staff" at the Sunee Bar: The owner(s) - in this case I believe that it is now 1 person, as there was recently a big divestiture of the many bars that Charlie Entertainment previously owned in Supertown, of which Sunee Bar was one of them. Some of the larger bars in Supertown have multiple owners. Dance troupe - these are the dancers and I believe that they are on the payroll with supplements to their earnings that are made when the tip box is passed around to the customers at the end of their 1 hour show segments. Wait staff / host boys - I believe that these guys are also on the payroll with supplements to their earnings that are earned either by buying them drinks when you request that they sit with you and then the tips that are collected when the check-bin is asked for. Freelance - these are the guys who do not have a contract with the bar and are not on the payroll and their complete income is sourced from when the customer buys them a drink, tips, and if they are amenable to being offed by the customer. Now, having said all of that, there are exceptions to what I wrote above: Rarely, some of the dance troupe can be offed - but it is often at a very high price and often these guys will decline the offer as they are not interested and/or they are in a relationship with one of their contemporaries. Rumor says that the star of the dance troupe commands 5k for an off and rarely says yes. Wait staff / host boys - my bowling team was made up from this segment of the staff. Some of them were quite popular and had their farang regulars and I had to make them commit to the team to not accept an off on the day of the Jomtien Pride Bowling competition, or on either of the 2 afternoons that were designated for our practice sessions. I told them that if their farang would insist to off them that they were to bring the farang to the bowling practice and/or competition - which never had to be put to the test. I intentionally refrained from recruiting from the freelancers to participate in the Sunee Bar bowling team because their earnings are too entangled with getting an off that I felt it would be too risky for them to make a proper commitment to the responsibilities required to be a bowling team member.
  4. The official G's Facebook page states that the opening will be in early August. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DMp6sHDww/ Some photos of the new staff being interviewed for the PhraTamNak branch of G's https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BYbFaYhSL/
  5. From the progress that has been made over the last 3 to 4 months I would guess that they are 80% complete. Perhaps it will open in September?
  6. That is the million dollar question. Earlier it was stated 24 July - but that date came and went. I walked by it yesterday during my health walk - as it was raining my photos are not the greatest. Anyone want to make a guess on the to-be opening date? In the meantime, you can eat the best schnitzel meal in Jomtien over at Schatzi's new restaurant in Supertown. I hear that Ziggy has a delicious German sausage but I have not yet had an opportunity to taste it. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61590577088216&name=xhp_nt__fb__action__open_user

  8. Another possibility to add to the above list are the rooms available in Dorothy's Residence - which is just upstairs from the Buenos Mexican restaurant. I believe that all of the rooms face north towards the View Talay 5 condo complex so they should be quiet. Here is a Facebook video of the rooms: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1MXbv77Gsv/ You can check for availability here at: https://share.google/1EOe4Yr54yU35ZGAW As of today, there were still rooms available starting from 635 THB per night.

  10. Interesting topic. I prefer 4 hands with the right 2 guys who know how to respect the sensory overload (in the world of edging - we call this "riding the edge of complete bliss"). For me, sensory overload occured when I tried 6 hands or 8 hands. Things ended too quickly and defeated the goal of riding the edge for as long as could be possible.
  11. The Jomtien Pride Bowling competition was a BIG success (it concluded yesterday July 28, 2026). There were 12 teams - so we filled the complete The Wave bowling facility. My Sunee Bar team came in position 11 - not last place but 2nd to last. However, there was an award given to the most popular ass/behind/buttocks and sexy twink Dew from my team won that award. Afterwards, starting at 6pm, Khun Det from the @Home Bar whiskeyed + dined us for "free" as they performed the awards ceremony to the top 3 teams, top 3 scoring individuals - and also to the worst scoring individual - thank God that was not me even though my individual score was kind of near his. After the After-Party my team and I - we went over to the Sunee Bar to continue the celebrations and to watch the show. It was truly a great event, but today I am nursing a mini-hangover. Photos of the tournament can be seen here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1HKwJLJ54W/ https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1Gx8a9cBPc/
  12. Oh Olddaddy, Please be very very careful about this decision. I mainly ride a rented motorbike on the small islands (Koh Samet, Koh Larn, Koh Larn, etc.) because the traffic is not intense. I will also drive around Jomtien on a motorbike, but I almost never venture into Pattaya City on my motorbike - as it is too intense for my liking. Too many people that I know have been injured over the years on their motorbikes - so at a minimum, please take a motorbike lesson or 2 before you rent one - unless of course one of your many personalities is already an experienced motorbike rider 🏍ðŸ›ĩ🏍ðŸ›ĩ

  16. I had my 2nd massage with so sexy Khun Owen this morning over at the Supertown Burirom Health Massage shop. As with my 1st massage NO evidence of any hanky panky gestures were presented. But, his massage is truly very professional and top-notch. Today we were much more chatty during the massage and he told me that he is single and that he prefers to not date Thai guys - as he prefers other Asian and farang guys. Coincidentally, a cute Asian guy [ who had just finished with Owen before me ] was leaving when I entered the shop - I see that Owen is selected often. Owen desires to make an 8 to 9 day trip over to China next month or in September - and he jokingly asked me if I wanted to join him. I declined, as my trip later this year will be further east. Owen shared with me his Instagram account and he said that I could share it here in our forum: https://www.instagram.com/cue_owen/ In my humble opinion, he is truly a hottie.....
  17. The PCEC (Pattaya City Expat Club) publishes many cultural events in their calendar section in their weekly newsletter which just arrived this morning. I checked this morning and I did not notice any upcoming events with violins scheduled for Pattaya. However, PCEC has a link to these types of events that take place over in Bangkok at: https://sites.google.com/site/bkkmacaldetails/home/chamber-music?authuser=0
  18. I was honored with the privilege last year to visit a forum member who was staying at the Rabbit Resort and I agree that it is a beautiful place. Check this thread out to learn more:
  19. @emiel1981 - as @vinapu would say, "just go and see...." In my 1 single experience with him there were no indications for the availability for any hanky panky. Your experience could be different. One of my good farang friends - who is now back in the EU - frequents the Burirom massage shop often and he has had many opportunities for hanky panky there. To improve my statistical sample - I have another appointment with him this morning - because his massage skills are top-notch.
  20. Jomtien Complex 2026 interviews of the Pride Night Mr. Sexy Boy competition winners I decided to interview all 3 of the Mr. Sexy Boy competition winners, as I was intrigued to know them better and to understand what motivated them to participate – as I genuinely enjoy participating in gay grassroot events. July 18, 2026 Mr. Sexy Boy contest winners Step 1: I created a set of 8 questions (in both Thai and in English) that I would present to each of the 3 contestant winners and send to them via LINE for completion. As my former Thai boyfriend (FTHBF) was with me at the event he helped me to formulate the questions from a Thai point of view. āļ„āļļāļ“āļŠāļ·āđˆāļāļāļ°āđ„āļĢ āđāļĨāļ°āļāļēāļĒāļļāđ€āļ—āđˆāļēāđ„āļŦāļĢāđˆ? (āđ€āļŠāđˆāļ™ āļ—āļĩāđˆāļĢāđ‰āļēāļ™, LINE, Facebook, āđ€āļ›āđ‡āļ™āļ•āđ‰āļ™) If reader’s from the farang foreign community wanted to meet you, which is the best way to meet you? (at shop, LINE, Facebook, etc.) Step 2: I had to find a way to make contact with the 3 contestants. Contestant winner #1 is friends of myself and my FTHBF so it was easy to make contact with him. Contestant winner #2 was more challenging because nobody in my inner circle knew Khun Owen. So, I searched for his employer in Facebook and I contacted them via their WhatsApp number that is listed in their Facebook. I made an appointment for a 2 hour massage with Khun Owen. For contestant winner #3, he is personal friends with the current roommate of my FTHBF and I asked him to put me in contact with Khun Manow. Step 3: Actual meetings: My first meeting was with Khun Owen at the Burirom Health Massage shop. I arrived for my 2 hour appointment at 3pm. Owen met me at the front desk and led me to a massage room upstairs. This was my first time at the Burirom shop and I can say that it is more of the style of shops that you would find in Bangkok instead of the typical massage shop houses typically found here in the Jomtien Complex. Owen asked me if I needed a shower and I replied no as I had come directly from my condo already showered. Before the massage started, I shared with Owen the above 8 questions that I had printed in both Thai and English. At first he was surprised and so I had to explain with Google Translate why I was there. I showed him the various pictures and videos from the Mr. Sexy Boy contest and I told him that I was interviewing the 3 contest winners. He agreed to participate in the questionnaire and he gave me his LINE so that I could send it to him after the massage. I am glad that I requested 2 hours because by now 30 to 35 minutes were consumed. His 90 minute massage was excellent and super professional. There was no hanky-pank or requests for “extras” and he remained almost fully clothed (he removed his shop massage jacket and performed the massage in his muscle t-shirt and massage pants). He is truly an artist in his profession. My second meeting was with Khun Apek later that same day at 6pm (2 hours before his start time at the RedRoom Bar) and we were to meet at the new Schatzi’s restaurant. Unfortunately, as it being Wednesday, it was closed. So, instead we walked over to the SINT Restaurant to eat, which is just outside of Supertown on Thappraya road. Apek is truly a very outgoing character who is a joy to spend time with. He makes you laugh, his English is very good, and he LOVES farangs. I can now see why he won the “Popular Vote” in the contest. I asked him to explain to me what was the “Popular Vote” and what were the requirements. During the beginning of the segment dedicated to the Mr. Sexy Boy contest, the announcers (MCs) announced to the crowd (unfortunately only in Thai) that the spectators should buy a garland at 40 baht each and place them on their favorite guy as they paraded on the rainbow carpet runway towards the judges. This explains so much, because I was sitting at the table with my FTHBF and I remember he turned around to me urgently and said to me, “let us buy garlands now very quickly before they come!!” Consequently, when Apek approached where we were sitting I gently stood up and placed 3 garlands on Apek’s neck. However, in the corner behind us there was a large crowd of people (of which only 1 was a farang – the rest were Thai guys) who ran towards Apek and completely covered his body in garlands. It was truly amazing. Hence, why Apek was also awarded the “Popular Vote”. I then asked Apek if in addition to the 5,000 baht that was awarded to the 1st prize candidate if he also earned money from the garland sales (as this is typically what happens over in Bangkok at the gogo bars). Instead, Apek informed me that 100% of the garland sales were donated to Dr. Philippe Seur’s foundation = Heartt 2000 which assists those in the Pattaya area who are inflicted with the suffering from HIV / AIDS symptoms. I implore our readers here to watch the below painful video of Dr. Philippe Seur performing his work in the taking care of many Thai people who suffer from this horrible disease. https://www.cultureunplugged.com/documentary/watch-online/play/5213/mo-philip-a-doctor-in-pattaya I will have a separate update about the funding that was raised for HEARTT 2000 in another update – because as of today it is still being prepared. After our dinner at the SINT Restaurant we went over to the RedRoom bar where Apek now works to have a drink. He previously worked at the Candy Bar – where I got to know him. Apek told me to tell all of you reading this that he LOVES farang and he only dates and goes with farangs. My third meeting was with Khun Manow on the following evening, and we met at Tinnies to eat an early dinner before his shift starts over at the M Bar. Manow is a sweet and very talkative guy and is also known within the M Bar crowd as Lemon or Citron. He used to perform in the sexy show at the M Bar but he decided that he prefers for now to work as a member of the host guy + wait staff team. For the 7th question, “Would you participate in next year’s Mr. Sexy Boy competition?” – he replied with a NO, but without a reason as to why. I tried to probe to learn why, but he would not reveal the reason to me. Unlike Apek, who also replied no, but he gave a very honorable reason – which you can read about in the questionnaire reply section of this post. Step 4: posting of the questionnaire results: I created a .jpg file with the questionnaire results from each of the contestant’s LINE responses. At the end of each questionnaire is the mechanism in which the contestant can be contacted (with their permission and authority given). My motivation to do all of this is: solely to help the gay grassroot efforts of the Jomtien Complex, aka Supertown, give visibility to the contest winners, and more importantly, to care about the future success of Supertown – especially since in the year 2030, Thailand may be awarded with the rights to host the World Pride 2030 – for which I hope that there will be an economic overspill from Bankgok into Thailand’s hinterland gay economic zones, of which Pattaya/Jomtien is one of them. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1570747294784764 Above FB reel discusses Thailand's diplomatic reception regarding World Pride 2030 APEK's questionnaire completed via LINE: OWEN's questionnaire completed via LINE: MANOW's questionnaire completed via LINE:
  21. Hahaha ðŸĪŠ I know your type and he is better found in Bangkok - unless of course you now like twinks?
  22. I am just returning the favor(s) that many forum members gave me over the years - when they hooked me up and/or made it possible to allow me to have contact with someone that I desired that either they knew or had already been with. Isn't that what our forum is all about?
  23. SWING Pattaya (Service Workers in Group Foundation) has just released their official video today of the Jomtien Complex Pride Night 2026 event, which took place on Saturday July 18, 2026. This SWING video is done well as it gives equal time to the 1.) PRIDE Parade, 2.) Stage 1 events, and 3.) Stage 2 events - which included the Mr. Sexy Boy contest. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1730635294644923
  24. There will be an informational meeting at the @Home bar in the Jomtien Complex for those who are still interested in participating and/or have questions regarding the upcoming Jomtien Pride Tenpin Bowling Tournament scheduled for next Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 2:30pm to be held at The Wave Bowl - over in the Jomtien Palm Beach hotel. Best to contact the Supertown FB administrator = Jim Coston via the below facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18wEjkNw6V/ https://www.facebook.com/thewavebowl/ So far, the team that I am sponsoring, Sunee Bar - our team has had 2 bowling practices over at The Wave Bowl. Yesterday was the most recent one and over in the next bowling lane was the @Home Bar team - and well - their scores were always double ours - quite intimidating. But, we still go forward to join the fun comradery that kind Khun Ron is creating for the Supertown employees.
  25. oh no, you also saw that famous scene from The Venue balcony that looks onto the Jomtien Complex town square below? I believe that it may have even been a forum member..... Or was it instead from The Agate balcony?
