Lively seminar about men’s sexual health
bkkmfj2648 replied to reader's topic in Health, Nutrition and Fitness
Time for an update. I have completed 5 months of TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) and the results are: predictable erection resolution? partially. I still have a dependency on PDE5 inhibitors (cialis, sideagra, viagra, etc.), more muscle mass as a result of returning to the gym and TRT, assertiveness - a noticeable increase due to my elevated testosterone levels - in excess of 1,300. Doctor asked me if I was happy and I told him: returning to the gym after 10 years has lowered my blood pressure and I am happy that I could stop with the related blood pressure medications, I am not happy with the unpredictability of my erections - as this was the expectation from TRT - where I had hoped to shed the dependency on the PDE5 inhibitors So, doctor prescribed to me peptide PT-141 (Bremelanotide), which you self inject at home into your belly abdomen area. The PT-141 was SUPER effective - when I needed an erection it was there and very erect - however, the main drawback is that erections were coming and going spontaneously throughout the day and night - interrupting sleep. So, after a couple of weeks on PT-141 - I stopped as I did not like the side effects - as the PDE5 inhibitors rarely give me spontaneous erections like the PT-141 does. Now we are on the next phase of ED (Erectile Dysfunction) treatment, which is ED Shockwave Treatment. Unfortunately, my TRT's clinic does not offer this service so I had to find one and I found the Yada Clinic here in Pattaya and today, 04-Oct-2024, I had my first shockwave treatment. Included in their elevated price, is: 15 minute treatment with the BTL shockwave machine pressed onto various areas of your penis by the female technician (It has been WAY too many years since a woman has had her fingers on my penis - no arousal as I was VERY tense about what was about to happen to my penis {note they don't have male technicians}). The wand applicator is pressed onto your penis and electrical shockwaves penetrate your penis - the technician adjusts the shockwave value to a level that you can tolerate - I made it to 48%. She told me that the average is around 50%. I will try to go to 50% next week. Is it painful? kind of - but it is tolerable - as it is not constant but comes in short bursts with intervals between the sets of bursts. BTL Shockwave applicator after I got up off of the ED shockwave table After completing the 15 minute shockwave treatment you move to the next machine = MSsculpt and sit on a chair for 30 minutes where the purpose of this machine is to provide you with pelvic muscle strengthening by electrically stimulating the ischiocavernosus muscle --> read more here at: https://hermanwallace.com/blog/pelvic-muscle-rehabilitation-and-mens-sexual-health This was not painful and actually rather enjoyable - as the machine cycles through various electrical stimulations at different speeds that are stimulating your pelvic muscle region. you sit on this contraption for 30 minutes My goal for this ED shockwave therapy is to eliminate the dependency on PDE5 inhibitors and also eventually TRT. The Yada doctor tells me that once you complete 13 treatments (6 weeks at 2 times per week) you should be good to go with an erect penis for 6 months to 1 year - which would be great for me instead of doing TRT injections 2 times a week for the rest of my life. After all was said and done today - I felt like Frankenstein - like in one of the comical scenes from Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder My ex does not like that I am doing all of this as he says that I will kill and short circuit my dick and that I should just accept to give up sex. I replied to him that I did not move to the other side of the planet to one of the sex capitals of the world to give up sex. He did not like this comment because Pattaya is now going through this recent societal phase of Pattaya is no longer "sin city" = hahahaha..... I share all of this information with you forum members - as I don't mind to be a guinea pig and to embarrass myself with what I am sure will be some belittling comments - but my real hope is for those forum members who suffer from ED - to not give up and to know that there are many possible solutions so that you do not need to give up on the joys of sex. Related information for those who want to know more: Video on how the Yada Clinic uses the BTL machine on your penis. Below link to the Yada Clinic information about the Focus Shockwave therapy that they employ: https://www.doctoryadaclinic.com/focus-shockwave-for-erectile-dysfunction/ Update recently published by Buzzin Pattaya on his Youtube channel regarding his success with TRT. In the video is my doctor that I am very happy with - even though my body did not obtain the desired to be able to drop the dependency on the need for PDE5 inhibitors. I will update this thread after I have completed the 13 shockwave and pelvic strengthening sessions - in about 6 to 7 weeks. -
as an ex-banker - that really made me chuckle.....

I wonder if the 2nd video is from X-Boys Pattaya ??

The said laser pointers were introduced by the managers in Jupiter. The managers were using these laser pointers to help the customers to pinpoint (hone in) on the desired guy(s) that the customer wanted the manager to bring them over to their seat. I had never seen these laser pointers before and I saw the difficulty that the manager was having in trying to get the descriptive words out of the 2 female customers about which guys they wanted - as there seemed to be a communication problem when the manager would point the green laser light on what he thought was the desired guy that the customer wanted and it wasn't. So, my idea was, why not just give the laser pointer directly to the customer and streamline the process instead of trying to communicate in a noisy bar during a show with an intermediary (the manager mamasan) who may or may not understand which guy it is that you want. The way that the Jupiter shows work - the guys do not always have their numbers on their bodies - hence the need for the manager to use a laser pointer. The Jupiter management only allows for the numbers on their bodies at certain set intervals - so if a customer wants to have the company of a guy or to off a guy he/she needs to involve the manager - as there is no other way available to make the transaction happen.

Thanks for replying @macaroni21 - I find your spot on perspectives very eye-opening. From what I see what the Asians give emphasis to it is very different then what made early Pattaya famous (as we are no longer allowed to utter the words "sin city") as an R&R destination for tired and horny military in the nearby wars back in the 1960s and 1970s. Yes, I have seen this also for some of the Russian bars/clubs on Walking Street. Here in Jomtien, there is a Russian restaurant near Hemingways that plays Russian music on the street that leads into their restaurant. Thanks for sharing that Asian music with us - it is beautiful and it would be nice if at least one of the 30+ bars in the Jomtien Complex would play it. I would add an additional point to what you wrote above. For us expats that live here (we are not here on vacation), some of us have taken to Thai music - as it is our host country and I truly enjoy listening to it. One time I asked one of my dear Thai friends who owns a bar in Supertown as to why he never plays Thai music. He told me that they are forbidden to play Thai music if they don't agree to pay the equivalent of the Thai Music Association royalty fees which the Complex can arrange for said bar in their rental contract. This explains why almost 100% don't play any Thai music - however, I note that when some of the guys who work in the Complex make the occasional "private" party - that they will play Thai music - that being mostly Thai Mor Lam music from Isaan and Laos. Speaking of Mor Lam music - I went to my first Mor Lam concert here in Pattaya last night (02-Oct-2024). I am not a big fan of Mor Lam music - but I do have to say that the Mor Lam show was spectacular and colorful - I would suggest to our forum members if you want to experience an amazing Thai cultural event this is one of them. We were a large group - my gym trainer initiated this outing with my Thai friend who organizes my 4 hands massages - we were like 20 people drinking, watching, dancing, and just being silly. Many many gay guys were there that you would see either on the gay Jomtien beach hangout areas of soi 4 and soi 12 and also from Supertown. And this is why I chose to retire in Asia (South East Asia) instead of in Europe or the USA. I try to absorb their culture as much as possible.

or someone else's hand who knows how to make you a slow erotic edging handjob 🤪

Thanks for your comment - but please re-read what I wrote higher up in this thread. 1.) no pointing of camera to the stage - as phone or camera is not required, 2.) no possibility of secretly taking pictures, 3.) no need to be shy - as everything is private as you would be using the SAME GLP (green laser pen) that the mamasan is using.
-
oopsy, my intention was never to lift the veil on the privacy of our guys. The use of a technological solution was to be internal to the said bar/club where only you the customer would see your green laser pen (GLP) ID number and the manager/papasan/mammasan would also see the GLP ID number and perhaps the desired guy - but probably not as they are usually accessary free and we would not want them to be distracted from their sexy catwalk and/or show performance. and @omega this solution is even better than the one that I proposed. Almost every time that I have proposed the use of QR codes - there has been forum member pushback - but yet we accept the age old "number tag" system ?? I see that nowadays in our world of AI that already Apple and Samsung are introducing AI rings (NO - not cock rings - yet 🤪) Maybe this would be a better solution than my proposed QR code idea and also to the current "number tag" system ? Thanks @Marc308 for your support on my idea. The intention of my idea was to empower us who are SHY here in this forum. Many times I have accompanied our less SHY and famous forum members to the bar and they have no problems about getting what they want quickly and even sometimes at the protest of the obnoxious mamasans. Unfortunately, I am SHY and I just cannot grow a pair of balls like these other forum members and I proposed this technology solution to help: find a way to overcome my shyness by empowering me with a technology solution, a potential way to bypass and/or minimize the interaction of the obnoxious mamasans, get me closer to the guys that I want so that I can do what humans do best - let us interact with each other in a less stress free way without the involvement of unnecessary intermediaries. I want to sit in the exciting gogo bar/club BUT I want to be left alone to my own devices (pun intended) so that I can use technology to help my SHY personality to get what I want without the intervention of the obnoxious or pushy (Lurch from Moonlight comes to mind) mamasan. Why should we allow the gogo bar/club scene be a stressful situation ?

@macaroni21 - I am curious - what is appealing to young Asian visitors of today ? When I see the transition of BoyzBoyzBoyz (BBB) in Boyztown from being full of westerners of years past (where we ogled at scantly dressed sexy guys on the stage) to now being full of young Asians - these young Asians seem to like: the guys that are overdressed standing on the stage, calling down various guys from the stage to drink with them, watching the show, often getting plastered drunk - I have seen many a young Asian assisted to get into the bathroom or to be helped to go outside. If the guys are offed from BBB then I don't think that it is for sex but more for having companionship at some other club. What are your thoughts?

I definitely appreciate what you wrote above. The established protocol tends to get in the away in being able to obtain what we want in a quicker way. Back in August when I was at Jupiter in the upstairs section - I watched in awe how two heterosexual women obtained their 2 guys. They called over the manager and he used his green laser light pen to identify which 2 guys they wanted. In this moment during the evening the Jupiter guys were without their numbers attached to their bodies so it was critical to have an alternative way to identify which guy they wanted. This process was painful as you could see the 2 women speak into the ear of the male manager to try to establish which guy was of interest and sometimes he would point the green laser light pen to the wrong guy. @Travellerdave based on what you wrote above and what I saw occur in Jupiter - it would be much more efficient, in my opinion, to just give the green laser light pen directly to the customer to either: point to the desired guy, or, point to a QR code that is on the guy's person - which would allow an internal bar system to know which green laser pen identified the guy FIRST and then the manager can run over to the customer (identified by the QR code and location ID of said customer) to fulfill the deal. Those customers who were late with their green laser pen identifying activity could be held in a queue - in case the customer after sitting with the bar guy lets him go - as the deal does not go through. In this way, with the use of technology, we make this process much more streamlined and efficient, and we utilize the skills of the manager for a better purpose - instead of him trying to understand which guy the customer wants after many attempts while the guys are doing their cat walk and moving around. We also give hope to those who were not quick enough as they are already in a queue. Obviously, those in the queue can cancel their order. I think that this would also make it more fun and allow for those who are more shy to be empowered with technology that allows them to get what they want without exposing their shyness too much.

no problem - double the fun news..... your version is nicer because the beautiful photo of the new marquee is embedded into this thread.

The Pattaya Mail newspaper posted an article about the new Jomtien Supertown Complex marquee. https://www.pattayamail.com/latestnews/news/jomtiens-gay-venue-updates-its-marketing-image-474045?fbclid=IwY2xjawFnR59leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHf4RJ8gI5OGVfcHkqaAenOYjKrjnnPVJQ6IQDnn3-HiOG3W6qw9p0Lh4zQ_aem_0RxJYvIVHk-EIpXz8F-rsw#m1os3cu2wqgdsnjzpq I found the below commentary from the above article interesting: Although the number of gay bars has declined internationally, thanks largely to the advent of the universal internet, Pattaya and Jomtien have maintained a fairly large structured scene. Gay businesses still rely on a western clientele, mostly retired, which prefers a traditional and familiar setting based on alcohol, snacks and companionship. “There are millions of Chinese and Indians visiting Pattaya and Jomtien, but we don’t see them here,” according to motorbike taximan Pom who has been based at the Complex for 20 years.

Tough question to answer - as I do not believe that the seasonality (high versus low) would impact the quality. But I am not an expert - and I would suggest that other forum members respond with their opinions. From a financial budgetary point of view I would agree. From a quality point of view - I might not necessarily agree - again I refer to the opinion of other forum members. @vinapu - help ? I would say that they want to get away from the cold or non-pleasant weather and perhaps to escape from forced family gatherings during the holidays ? -

and might I add - no functional boats in the floating market in Ayutthaya - 2 days ago. Why? The river waters (Chao Phraya, Lopburi, Pa Sak rivers) were so high from the recent storms up further north - the floating market "stations" where you would normally get onto the boats were pushed up into the ceiling of the floating market structure - so there was no safe way for them to float around and take the tourists to the various market stalls. The vast majority of the market stalls were closed and the place was mostly empty.

me too - I asked some of my young friends who are in the business why they take these PDE-5 inhibitors (Kamagra, Sidegra, etc.) and the number one reason that came back is that they are young and sexy and we are old and not so sexy. The PDE-5 inhibitor gives them that extra confidence to "not let us down" {pun intended} so that we will have the illusion that everything was great and the customer is happy. -
Exactly. Since 2015 when I started visiting Thailand and now since 2022 where I now live here full time - some of my BEST trips in Thailand were: massage guys that I convinced to change their job duties and become my tour guides - we made 2 distinct trips in the northern provinces with Woody and his partner Non - where later on, Woody became a tour guide for Siam Roads, by visiting some of the beautiful Thai islands of; Koh Larn, Koh Samet, Koh Chang, and Koh Tao - where these trips were made with some local Jomtien masseurs and also with my Jomtien Dongtan beach volleyball guys, Last New Year (2023 into 2024) I employed 2 Thai guys that I found in Twitter (X) and Hornet - to be my tour guides for 17 days when I ventured into the extreme deep south of Thailand (Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces), and just 2 days ago, a quick trip up to Ayutthaya to visit 9 amazing Wat temples with my 2 cleaning ladies and one of their husbands. As @reader wrote above - my trip experiences were most DEFINITELY enriched where I had experiences in local Thai culture and contact with people that I would have never had contact with had I travelled alone. Furthermore, I felt more safe and looked after (especially for the deep south trip where there is still some ongoing insurgent unrest). For example, in the Ayutthaya trip I was introduced to a local (now national) star, whose name is: Kalamae or Calamae (transliteration spelling issues). This guy opened a small toffee type of candy shop on the grounds of the Ayutthaya temple = Wat Mongkhon Bophit where she/he dances to the song Da Da Da. She became so famous for her candy, dance, and then posting potential "lucky" numbers for Thai lottery - that she became a national star who appeared on national Thai TV. And when he speaks - the voice is so high pitched and very unique. https://www.tiktok.com/discover/กาละแมแม่ไม่อยู่?lang=th-TH Furthermore, I learned about the Ayutthaya famous Roti Sai Mai - type of cotton candy served in a crepe - VERY famous in this part of Thailand.

After living here in Jomtien for 2 years now as a new retiree - I would say that the number of guys - high versus low - remains a constant. Many of the Jomtien Complex massage shops - other than Soda Massage - have a plastic seat capacity issue --> in other words - in their small allotted space - they can only fit "X" number of plastic chairs in front of their shops. Now it is still low season and during the night most of those plastic chairs are occupied by a masseur. So, when high season comes they still have the same number of maximum plastic chairs that they can accommodate - hence my conclusion that the number of available masseurs remains the same. However, I do note that during certain Thai Buddhist holidays there can be a significant drop off in the number of guys available - as they tend to go back to their home towns to be with their families. -
Perhaps an advantage for the women - but then for us men where we don't need the cubicle (if the need is only to take a piss) we just use one of the gazillion urinals that are lined up next to each other. Imagine that they remove the urinals to install toilet cubicles - then I believe that there would then be a line also for men - as the now unisex bathroom that has been refitted for cubicles only would take up more space than the former urinals - thus resulting in a capacity issue for those that want to only pee - creating the potential for queuing up during peak usage periods. I remember back in the late 1980s the first time that I went to a nudist camp that only had unisex bathroom. It was an awkward situation for me when a young girl pointed me out - when I was peeing in the urinal - to her mother - when the young girl said, mommy I want to pee like that man is instead of waiting for a cubicle to free up. The mother replied by pointing to my penis saying to her daughter - sorry you cannot because you do not have that. It was an uncomfortable situation - but then again - it was my first ever participation in a nudist colony.

Could it be one of those PDE-5 inhibitors (Kamagra, Sidegra, etc.) - but in liquid gel format (instead of the traditional tablet format) ? -
and after living here now for 2 years as a new retiree - I can DEFINITELY agree with your above statement.

Wow @macaroni21, thanks for sharing with us some personal things about your private life. You are one of my favorites here in this forum and I always look forward to what you write and your point of view. What I quoted above is so true - just wait until you retire where you will have lots of "luxury of time" on your hands. Furthermore, if you will chose LOS as your retirement destination - you will find that occasionally other forum members who visit LOS for their vacations will contact you to participate in their vacation activities (which I generally truly enjoy), but, they will be in "vacation mode" where they tend to be in an accelerated do everything possible mode, and many will want: 2 or more of XXX types of interactions per day - and I often find myself hard-pressed to do a second XXX activity due to my age, and my satisfaction with one good one per day - resulting in me being a party pooper and declining their invitation to go on the hunt for a 2nd or 3rd XXX activity, financial constraints as a retiree (those who visit us here in LOS are in vacation mode with special extra vacation financing) while we are on a fixed pension budget, alcohol tolerance (often those in vacation mode want to drink all night long - and that just kills my sex drive and any possible hope of sexual performance). @macaroni21 - have you given thought about where you would like to retire to? Will we have the fortune of having you here in LOS full time ?

There have been some small updates / corrections regarding this event. https://asiapacificpress.com/648/italian-tourist-66-dies-naked-falling-from-condo-in-pattaya-thailand In summary, what we know so far is: Italian citizen, The above news article has named this person as, Fausto Chiossi, from Capri, Italy, Previously, his age was reported as 57, but instead the above news article states that he was 66 years old, Condo he was renting was on the 19th floor - parking lot facing part of the building - as shown in the video in the above referenced news article. The above article states the following: '.... The man's body will undergo a post-mortem exam to find the exact cause of his death.' Consequently, I have asked one of my good Italian friends to monitor the local news in Italy to see if anything has been reported over in Italy. I have also checked Italian news sources and it appears that nothing has yet been posted about this tragic event. Perhaps the post-mortem exam has not yet been handed over to the Italian embassy in Bangkok ? Today I went to Ayutthaya with the 2 women who clean my condo, with one of their husbands, and we discussed this event at great length - I can share the following additional information - but it is NOT substantiated - and is just hearsay. The additional information is that several cleaners were requested to clean Mr Chiossi's room - as it was (unsubstantiated) reported that there was a lot of blood and disorder to clean up. On the day that solicitations went out to recruit cleaners - my 2 cleaners were not available - and after hearing what the other cleaners saw, they told me that they were glad that they were not available on that day. I can state that many of my fellow farang neighbors are quite concerned about this event. In addition, the security team has greatly increased their controls - as some of my Thai friends have not been permitted to come upstairs (for the last 18 months they have been allowed to come up on their own) and I had to come downstairs to retrieve them and one of the security team specifically asked me if I would be ok with my guests - for which I replied - all is good - they are from the beach volleyball team. Then after our meeting concluded, I went down with my 2 guests to let security know that I am alive and ok. When I know more I will post about it here.
