New worldwide income tax proposed for residents in Thailand
bkkmfj2648 replied to Pantherz's topic in Gay Thailand
Dear Pantherz, I totally agree with your assessment. I also found this recent iteration of the proposed tax revenue collection ideas as absurd. Back in 2020 and 2021, when I was studying where do I want to retire in 2022, the positive tax climate that Thailand had was a BIG reason as to why I chose Thailand. Now with these new tax proposals - Thailand is becoming less appealing - as being a USA citizen, we already suffer from Citizen Based Taxation - which is already global. So to add Thailand to this list would just be too excessive in my opinion. So, I have started to research possible ideas on how to mitigate this - by finding ways to not be a tax resident in Thailand by dividing my residence between: 4 months in Thailand, 4 months in Da Nang, Vietnam, 4 months in either Penang, Malaysia or in The Philippines - I have not yet been to either so I will work towards exploring these 2 areas before the 2025 tax year. Any other ideas to consider? -
In X-Boys Pattaya - yes, there is a BIG cock show and also a fucking show.

Where should I go for a late-June / early-July trip?

Sorry guys - I will not tolerate these comments!! After going to the Sloan Kettering hospital in Manhattan many times during the 1980s and watching your loved friends die in so much pain and agony - often exacerbated by the hostile and caustic AZT, it was too much to bear. This was well documented in the Dallas Buyers Club movie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_Buyers_Club about all of the less caustic and painful alternatives that were available in Mexico but were blocked in the USA. After losing 50% of my friends to AIDS in the 1980s and early 1990s, I suffered from "survivor's remorse" and I volunteered my body to science under the experimental clinical trials for Vaxgen in 1997, 1998, and 1999 - where for every 6 months we had to be share with the scientists all of our sexual encounters, types of sex, protected or not, etc. and get injected with the Vaxgen vaccine. In the year 2000 after the conclusion of the study, we were told that it was only 17% effective and deemed to be a failure. We were also told if we were in the placebo group or in the non-placebo group - I was in the non-placebo group and I was given a special card to show to the future medical authorities - as I could test false positive for AIDS and I was to show this Vaxgen card so that they would know that it is the result of the vaccine study trials. I was asked to go onto Denver TV to say why did I volunteer my body for this Vaxgen trial and I responded: "After watching so many of my friends die from AIDS in such a painful and violent way with AZT - I just had to do something in the memory of my lost friends....." So, when you JUDGE me because I complain about the insensitivity of Dr. Fauci and the USA blocking the alternative medicines that were available in Mexico at that time, I ask to all of you - what personal sacrifice did you make to help with AIDS research?? -
wow TotallyOz - what a great find. I would love to go with DANU - he looks awesome

macaroni21, these are excellent ideas. We need this SO badly also here in Pattaya as soo many of the places are stale and boring - as if to watch the paint dry. There is little imagination for good entertainment and/or experimentation. They just rely on the standard mantra of "falang sit - falang drink" Your list of above ideas creates customer participation in the bar and can allow for you to get up close and personal with the bar staff - a GREAT way to break the ice instead of the standard - what would you like to drink mister with the drink menu shoved into your face For example, at the X-Boys Pattaya go-go bar - during one of the shows where they actually have 1 act where they get a customer to come up onto the page to be sensually / sexually intrigued - the customer was SO good that I stood up during the show and I put 100 baht - using the Vinapu Tuck - into the customers belt. The customer who was up on the stage was very surprised by my gesture, the seated customers in the audience, and also the guys up on the stage - all loved it. Why not - let us also participate in the fun and excitement of the evening.

What you say is so true - I lost around 50% of my friends due to AIDS or due to the nasty side effects of AZT (thanks Dr. Fauci). -
I love your itinerary. I also don't like much the bar scene because my best sex at my age occurs between 9am and 9pm. If I bring someone home from the bars after 9pm and after some drinks there is a high probability that my money will be wasted. So, your itinerary is perfect for me.

Hi maump, I also have a Samsung - but a Samsung S23 - I only justify to buy a new Samsung every 3 years. But with the recent One UI OS software upgrade - which includes some of the AI features that were released in S24, they are now available to us in S23 and perhaps even in other previous Samsung models. Below is a screenshot example of this NEW Samsung AI feature activated within one of the many Thai massage Line chat groups that I am a member of. r To find more information about these Thai massage groups - I wrote about it on 27 January 2024 in a post initiated by Olddaddy. https://www.gayguides.com/forums/topic/40375-is-the-gay-scene-dying-off/page/5/#comment-372916 So, I believe that you can already take advantage of this new AI auto translate feature right now without having to buy a new Samsung phone. Enjoy.

no way - I'm a poor boy I just find it amazing when our "play toys" open up to us about their lives and we discover interesting facts about their lives - I guess you could say that I am a "MB voyeur"

In preparation for my 12 day trip to Da Nang last month (April) to escape the bazooka water fights here in Pattaya during Songkran - I had 10 motorbike driving lessons from one of my Thai volleyball friends teach me how to ride a motorbike. So far, to date, I have only fallen down 1 time and that was on a narrow mountainous road on Koh Larn as the wind started to blow my hat off and I let go of the motorbike handlebar (a big no no) and I went off of the side of the narrow road and fell down. It was all in slow motion and no damage to the motorbike and I had thought that no damage to me --> until 10 days ago when I started a new gym training program (after 10 years of not working out) and the arm that took the blunt force when I fell on Koh Larn is now sensitive during any workout that involves arms. I can drive my rental motorbike here in Jomtien, Dongtan beach, Pratumnak, and on Koh Larn and feel quite comfortable. However, I am still to afraid to venture into Pattaya city - as the traffic is too intense. One day soon I hope to make the leap - especially as it is now low season with less tourists, traffic, and those gigantic tourist busses.

and this has been a FANTASTIC upgrade feature when Samsung rolled out their recent OS upgrade. I can now participate in the Thai massage Line groups in real time as it translates as I type in real time and the replies are also auto translated in real time.

Yes, Vinapu and I, on his recent visit, took the bus from Pattaya to Bangkok and then I took it back to Pattaya. The Jomtien bus station is only 10 minutes from my condo so it is very convenient. Unfortunately, coming back to Pattaya / Jomtien I had to wait for 2 hours in the BKK airport as the seats on the departing buses were already sold out. Good value for money

I asked and he jumped on the opportunity to come to Pattaya by limo directly from his condo building in Silom. This guy is more into the niceties of life than the cold cash. For example, he has a crazy American client back in BKK who pays him 20.000 baht for a 1 hour meeting - yikes!!! I told him that I could never match those rates and his response was - no problem - I want a good time with you in Pattaya and for us to have fun in the bed and also outside of the bed. He has already been working in the "business" for more than 10 years and he was getting bored with the "always local Silom" meetings and wanted to have a mini "romantic" type of trip outside of BKK and to visit a nice blue turquoise sea with white sandy beach on Koh Larn. I obliged.

He was excellent - and well worth the sum paid for 3 days + transportation from and to his condo room back in BKK to me in Pattaya

Hi Curtis, I am an avid fan of "The Limo Pattaya" and I just used them today to send back to Bangkok a sexy guy that I met when I was with Vinapu in BKK last month. I communicate with them directly via Line - see below Line ID email = the_limopattaya@yahoo.com Web = https://www.thelimopattaya.com/

Tourist Loses Three Teeth After Getting Kicked in the Face
bkkmfj2648 replied to reader's topic in Gay Pattaya
whoever said that living in Pattaya is boring - now we may have a guy who murdered his gay boyfriend in Bangkok roaming the streets of Pattaya - If I understood the article correctly - it is assumed that he killed his boyfriend to get 2 gold bars. Another reason that I do not follow the belief to collect GOLD like many Thais, Arabs, and Indians do - it is not worth it - hopefully our life is more valuable than 2 gold bars ??? https://thethaiger.com/news/national/murder-suspect-spends-victims-valuables-and-flees-to-pattaya#google_vignette -
What is going on? This succumbing to TB thing is occurring way more than it should be. Wasn't TB supposed to have been eradicated back in the 1930s or 1940s ? https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=970904385038613&set=a.507281118067611 Do any of you in the know understand why this is occurring several times each year to our guys ?? Please illuminate us - as I find it very disturbing and when I ask my Thai friends about why this is happening frequently, they just shrug their shoulders.....

Dear all, I see that Reader has kindly posted 2024 Pride information for Bangkok and Chiang Mai. I wanted to post about what is happening in Pattaya - and it was difficult to gather the information as most of it is only in Thai -> even though the Pattaya government wants tourists to participate but no information is posted in English - duh!! But my wonderful Thai friend, Sun, was able to help me gather the appropriate information for an article in English. Furthermore, I learned that Thailand is competing to host the 2030 World Pride event which would be truly amazing. I participated in the year 2000 World Pride event in Rome and it was outstanding, as they say that around 1 million people participated, with the Vatican throwing every obstacle in our way to have this event cancelled, as it was in direct competition with their year 2000 sacred Jubilee event. So, it seems that Pattaya will have 2 distinct Gay Pride events as follows: 8 June 2024 There will be a parade, "Pattaya Community Pride", that starts at 4pm from the Colosseum theatre on Thepprasit road and they will march all the way down to the Dongtan curve (where the Jomtien Beach road starts and the Dongtan beach road finishes - police box on one corner and 7-eleven on the other corner). Then there will be festivities all night in the Jomtien Supertown Complex - with the center of activities being in front of The Venue Cabaret and Hotel. I believe that this specific gay pride event is being sponsored by SWING and various Supertown bar owners. The second Gay Pride parade "Pride for All" will take place on 22 June 2024 in front of the Central Festival mall on Beach Road in Pattaya city. It is supposed to start in the late afternoon from the Terminal 21 shopping mall and then loop down onto Beach Road - terminating at the Central Festival mall with a stated slotted time from 6pm until 8pm. It is being sponsored by Central Pattana - the owner of the Central malls that are all over Thailand.

Hi Olddaddy, I like this thread and I do not mean to derail its intended purpose of VISITORs to Thailand - as opposed to us that live here full time. Since I live here now - I like to go out of Thailand every once and a while and I find Vietnam extremely good value for money - with a discount of between 20% to 30% from prices in Thailand. And with the low cost airlines available to us here in South East Asia - it is still good value for money. I see that perhaps for you Olddaddy that you find the Philippines good value for money over Thailand ??

Wow Reader - I never heard of this place (Herring Cove) just outside of P-Town - as I never got the chance - as I was too busy checking out the "meat rack" on Fire Island. https://listings.cruisingforsex.com/united-states/massachusetts/cape-cod-metro/provincetown/herring-cove-beach-3418-details.html https://www.wheretoqueer.com/places/fire-island-coastal-forest-cruising-area

Sex was one of the many possibilities. Sometimes it was just the art of cruising without any sex ending. Sometimes to meet someone that you had the hots for in a more private setting to get his phone number after light playing or kissing for a date in a more convenient place (back home in your room). Sometimes it was just to be a voyeur to watch others doing it. Sometimes it was just to lay naked and to take the sun - but that was often difficult because then you became the prey to other guys who wanted to watch you, or jerk you off, or more.... Sometimes you were being stalked and you wanted to lose the guy or guys who were stalking you or pestering you from any of the above listed activities.

I lived in Rome for 12 years - up until 2016. The main cruising areas that I knew about were (there are more than 40 of them): Villa Borghese park - not far within the park from the main entrance when walking in from Corso d'Italia (night time after dark) Monte Caprino - near the part that overlooks the Foro Romano ruins (night time after dark) Parco Palombini - this park is in the EUR part of Rome south. In this park I had many fun times. Il Buco Capocotta - out at the gay beach south of Lido di Ostia - good place to meet gays on the beach and to have fun in the dunes Below is a web link that seems to be up to date with lists of bars, discos, and cruising bars. https://www.patroc.com/gay/rome/gayguide.html I can personally speak for the Diavolo Dentro bar https://www.ildiavolodentro.net/ as I used to organize on Monday nights (this was the slow night at the Diavolo Dentro bar) jerk off parties under the group Circolo delle Seghe https://clubdelleseghe.forumcommunity.net/ This bar is more hardcore - but for 6 months I was able to get a nice mix of guys (straight, bi, gay) to all jerk off together. We started with just 12 guys and we peaked at 52 guys - when the owner of the bar took his gay partner and started to fuck him in front of the circle jerk guys and within 5 minutes the bar was emptied and I was banned from the circle jerk group - even though I was not responsible for the bar owner's actions. So, at least for 6 months we had a good thing going that was safe and fun and allowed you to have access to straight guys - as everybody masturbates - why not do it together. I am originally from New York, where we have the ever famous New York Jacks club https://nyjacks.com/ where in the 1980s I would participate in parties of 50 to 100 guys at their weekly jerk off events. I believe the New York Jacks is still functioning. ok, that is all that I can add for beautiful Rome for now.

And that is part of the problem - the Jomtien Supertown Complex business model= farang sit and farang dring = so boring no energetic activities and nowhere to dance with good music prior to midnight --> yes there is the Dragon Music Lounge but they tend to promote techno dance music and no raving 70s or 80s greatest hits that were fun to dance to... I fear that the Complex will go the way of Sunee Plaza once us current crop of expat retirees die off However, the predominant gay visitors at the moment are the gay Russians - but will this continue in order to sustain the gay economy in Pattaya and Jomtien ? My only dilemma is will Boyztown go before the Complex ?

Jason this is SO true what you wrote. When I was with Vinapu last week, my Jomtien gay volleyball friends were all going crazy that I agreed to go with Vinapu alone to discover the spicy delicacies of Bangkok (massages and go-go bars, etc.). They all said to me, why you go with farang - bring us to Bangkok and we show you a good time. I replied, NO-WAY - because you will all take me to go shopping at the shopping malls and to go to fancy BKK restaurants so you can upload all of the photos to impress your social media "friends" and I get to pay for all of this with ZERO orgasms for me = NO way!!! I told them that if I go with Vinapu, I am: - guaranteed to have an orgasm every day - unfortunately I do not have Vinapu's stamina for 3 per day, - I only need to pay for myself (and of course the boy(s) that I would off or invite to my room), - no need to get tired walking in a million luxurious BKK shopping malls and seeing all of the delicious eye candy with no potential orgasms, - receive excellent training on how the sex industry works in BKK from Vinapu (my Thai friends continue to pretend to act as if the Thai sex industry is not important or does not exist - so frustrating - they are not even taught in school how much all of this helps their Thai GDP economy - especially with all of the knock on industries [ hotels, entertainment centers, restaurants, other non sex services, etc.] ) So, I left them on the beach to play volleyball and I had 6 wonderful days in BKK with our illustrious Vinapu.
