  1. I am like you @Travellerdave How do we remedy this problem? We should not date young guys anymore?
  2. Not sure if they are or not. Almost everyday, I walk by this Viewtalay Sales Office that is on Thappraya road that is directly in front of the View Talay 2 condos. Perhaps for buying them they can share with you which ones are for sale ? But, I do know that within each VT complex there are independent real estate offices on the ground floor - and they deal with VT rentals and sales and purchases. I see that there is a phone number in the above Google street image - 038-252103 - perhaps you could contact them ?
  3. Dear @khaolakguy, It was not my intention to damn the gypsies. I apologize if my comment came across that way in my above response to @Olddaddy OP. I lived for a total of 8 years in Budapest - and I had many great adventures with the local gypsies. Unfortunately, there is an bad element within the gypsy community that gives the greater gypsy community a bad rap and name. On 2 occasions I was a victim as follows: I chatted with 2 hot gypsies posing as a gay couple for a 4 hands massage. They invited me to their place and we had some beverages together and then moved to the bed where I started to play with them and them with me - but I became super sleepy and I passed out. When I woke up later, the 2 guys were looking at me in the bedroom and asked me if I was ok. I felt terribly weak and told them that I am sorry but I must go home. I could barely drive my car back to my place. Later when I was home, I discovered that I had been robbed - as my wallet was much lighter than when I arrived at their place. Did I report this to the Hungarian police? No, because unfortunately back then in Hungary there was not much sympathy for us gays with the Hungarian police - especially if I had to tell them that I solicited sex from 2 gypsies - so, I let it go, and counted my blessings that nothing bad happened to me physically. Most likely they drugged my beverage and that is why I passed out on their bed. I had a small party at my home and one of my work colleagues asked me if she could invite 2 of her gypsy friends to my place. It was just the 4 of us. They were great fun guys and we had a great evening. Then the next day after taking a shower I realized that some of my deodorants and perfumes were missing. This really irritated me as it was a petty theft and again I let it go. I did tell my work colleague to be careful with them in her house and she told me that I needed to be more tolerant of gypsies as they have to struggle in Hungary. Did I still continue to frequent gypsies? Should I let 4 gypsies ruin the basket of gypsy apples? NO I was just more prudent with my future encounters with gypsies - as mentioned above - I used the PlanetRomeo 2 profiles that reviewed various gypsy profiles to determine who was good and who was bad. I became friends with a couple of cool gypsies and I used them as my proxies to have them introduce me to other sexy gypsies who could be trusted and that led to many additional hot sexy encounters - as I find that some gypsies can be very attractive, as they have a tendency to be super manly and full of excess testosterone - which turns me on.
  4. Interesting opinion piece from Ben Hart - an American attorney who became a Thai citizen regarding the new proposed global taxation issue --> he calls it, "Kill the Golden Goose"

  6. @Keithambrose - thanks for sharing your experiences - as I can definitely relate to them. Back when I lived in Europe (Italy and then Hungary) this was a nice way to gain trust - because for those that were trusted more you could tell by the ratings that said escort received. In Budapest, on PlanetRomeo, they went one step further - there was 1 or 2 guys who had Romeo profiles where the sole purpose was to review the local escorts via their comments section within their profiles. Unfortunately, in Budapest, there is a high percentage of gypsies, where the trust issue can be delicate - even if they are sometimes super hot guys. So, I often relied on these 2 Romeo profiles to gain information about potential questionable offs from Hunqz. Unfortunately, here in LOS (Thailand) there is no such thing, as we tend to meet our guys at: the host bars, gogo bars, apps - Grindr, Hornet, Heesay, etcetra beach, volleyball. so, there is no way to filter like we had in Europe - but to be honest - I have NEVER felt the potential for physical violence or danger - except for this one case that I wrote about in this thread - and in that case it never went that far.
  7. yes, I had to block him on Grindr and LINE. regarding the fear part - I never saw him as being someone to be fearful from. but when he explained to me that his bank took away his access to his bank account - I could see his desperation in his eyes and that scared me.
  8. Dear @Alsfca - thanks so much for the compliment. I am SO happy that you truly enjoyed GLAM and their offerings. I rarely go to BKK - and when I was there for my birthday - I wanted to do something new and different and that is why I ventured over to the new GLAM massage shop. I am ashamed to say that I have not yet been to Prince or VCK. But, I agree with you - I like when the pricing is upfront and that you do not need to negotiate - as that process can sometimes ruin the eroticness (s?) and excitement of the to-be encounter.
  9. @Mysteryman - please be aware that Sansuk also has hotel rooms within the Sauna / Resort complex. I believe that it has 60 rooms available. I have a volleyball friend who works there and he told me that on some late afternoons and early evenings that there are more than 100 guys there. So, it seems to still be popular - I haven't been since 2 years - shortly after Thailand reopened after the covid nightmare concluded.
  10. The need for safety can come at us unexpectedly. I share this recent story with all of you as it: surprised me, came from someone that I thought that I could trust, had elements of desperation. So, this guy that I know for more than 1 year has excellent edging skills - so whenever he would be in Pattaya I would hook up with him at my condo room for an edging session. Then recently, while I was waiting for my 2 guys to arrive for my 4 hands massage - 10 minutes before the appointment, my doorbell rings and I open it and I see my edging guy at the door. I said to him - that I cannot do edging right now because in 10 minutes 2 guys are arriving. He apologized and asked me if I could give him 2.000 baht and that the next edging session would be free. I probably have met with him 10 distinct times in the last year - so I did not think anything about it. Next day, at 2:50am, my doorbell rings but I do not answer it - as I was in a dead sleep and I was not expecting anyone. Later that day I told the condo security team about this incident and they told me that a guy came to them at 3am and told them that he accidently rang the wrong doorbell and apologized. Again, I did not think anything was weird yet. Then next day in the afternoon someone is knocking on the door incessantly - I had temporary disabled the electronic doorbell after the above incident. I again ignored the door. Later that evening my main massage friend came to visit me and I told him about this and he said to me - let us go downstairs and tell the security team and see if they will let us view the CCTV coverage. Well, guess what - it was the edging guy and the security team told me that it was the same guy who apologized to them for ringing the doorbell of the "wrong" condo by accident. Now we were all suspicious and the security team asked me to authorize them to block this guy from entering the building - which I did and like clockwork, he returned the next day - but this time he was blocked by the security team and threatened to be reported to the police. It is a sad story - as I lost my favorite edger - but his desperation stemmed from his bank closing his bank account as Thailand has recently made moves to close many "mule" accounts - which is what I suspect happened to this edging guy - as he mentioned to me that he recently received a big transfer into his bank account from his supposed "Japanese boyfriend"..... But who knows - at least this problem is now gone for now and is an illuminating story about how people that we allow into our lives based onto trust can go weird on us and lose that trust that they had gained.
  11. Wow @reader, that ex-SOL space is HUGE when compared to the Good Boy / Screw Boy space. This seems like a good thing. Would you agree?
  12. I agree @reader - I already chatted with Mr. Thomas Carden at the PCEC meeting about my 4-4-4 plan, which he fully endorsed. However, that tax minimalization strategy only worked with the Thailand Revenue Department change that was introduced effective 01-Jan-2024 regarding the current "Remittance Based Territorial Tax Regime". Unfortunately, it won't work once Thailand introduces the above mentioned transition: from a "Remittance Based Territorial Tax Regime" - which would require me to stay out of Thailand for 181 days in year 2025, top up my Thai bank account in 2025, and then stay for the full year in Thailand in year 2026. to a "Worldwide Global Tax Regime" - the implementation of this would negate the possibility to stay in Thailand for more than 180 days in 2026 (or any year for that matter) - because of the Global Income element - which looks at income outside of Thailand and does not care when it would be remitted into Thailand, like the above tax minimalization option allows for. The article implies that the Hi-So of Thailand may try to block the implementation of the "Worldwide Global Tax Regime", but I read on another forum that the OECD is strongly pushing Thailand to adopt this tax regime - as it was delayed when Thailand was under the military ruled junta - which ignored outside influences on Thailand - so the OECD (and some say even the WEF) are putting extreme pressure on Thailand to hurry up and catch up and adopt this tax regime.
  13. Wow @Shonen, I am impressed that you managed to get into the Thai inner circle, if you have frequented the famous Jomtien soi 12 - where our guys after the the bars close - and even after gay volleyball on Dongtan beach concludes, they head over for an all-nighter on the Jomtien soi 12 beach - where many find themselves drinking until the sunrise and/or passed out on the beach disoriented when the morning tourists start arriving on the beach to start their beach day activities.... From what little that I do know about Vinapu's @vinapu Dreamboy guy, I do not believe that he is the Jomtien soi 12 type.
  14. @18past19, When you return to Pattaya - let me take you to one of the many restaurants that are on the Prathamnak cliffs - that overlook the Pattaya Cosy Beach and Gulf of Thailand with an amazing sunset view of nearby Koh Larn island. When you take the bathbus (songthaew) from Pattaya City to Jomtien - the bahtbus goes over a hill that separates Pattaya City from Jomtien and the neighborhoods on that hill are Prathamnak and Cosy Beach - where Cosy Beach has the seaside cliff with amazing views.
  15. I believe that guy has a partner - as I encountered him on one of the apps here as I was hunting around for a 4 hands massage and I believe that he proposed to me to his partner - unfortunately, I did not pursue it as I was not interested in the person I believed to be his partner. But I cannot confirm this but I believe this is why he could not stay with you past 2am....
  16. Interesting - some of these Jomtien Dongtan beach massage guys mentioned above are also available for a massage off of the beach sand back in your room for a small additional fee. It is all done in a discreet and subtle way - as we need to worry about protecting the image of Pattaya = no sins and God forbid that you utter the words, "sin city". And a couple of these beach massage guys also have profiles in Grindr and Hornet - but I don't think that they display their membership number for obvious reasons.
  17. Sexy Jett Gunther (Bangkok realtor and former journalist with The Thaiger), recently interviewed Thomas Carden on his Youtube channel, from AIT (American International Tax Advisers) - This is the same tax expert that I saw his presentation that was made back in June at the PCEC (Pattaya City Expat Club).
  18. and this is the part that I do not agree with. If you wait too long then you won't have time to properly implement a proper tax minimalization plan. Phase 1 of the new tax regime (possibility that funds that you transfer into Thailand from abroad are deemed as "assessable income" IF you are a tax resident) is already effective since 01-Jan-2024. This additional proposal is to tax your global foreign-based income -> even if not brought into Thailand is truly unprecendented. If you already live here and are planning to take advantage of the idea to avoid being a tax resident (you do not reside in Thailand for more than 180 days in a calendar year), then you need to get busy to determine where you will live for 181 days outside of Thailand. My 4-4-4 plan is to live only 4 months in Thailand during 2025, 4 months in Vietnam, and 4 months in The Philippines. Then I will intentionally top up my Thai bank account in 2025 for expenses occurred in both years 2025 and 2026. This strategy will allow me to live for the full 12 months in Thailand in year 2026 - where I will be deemed as a tax resident - but I will not have any assessable income in 2026 - as it was brought into Thailand in year 2025 when I was not a tax resident. This strategy, can go out the window, depending on what Thailand will do regarding our global income that is earned outside of Thailand. For now, I am hoping to buy time and to learn about retirement life in Vietnam and The Philippines to keep my options open.
  19. @Marc308 When I moved to Thailand back in September 2022, I booked a 1 month studio condo in the VT5 via AirBnB. I got to know the owner of the said condo outside of the AirBnB system, and I can share with you his details as he is a wealth of information about rentals in the area. Anthony (Tony) WhatsApp: +66896079896 Tony can speak French, Italian, and English I would suggest that you send your query to him via a WhatsApp text message
  20. Wow @reader OLE is a dream - I think that I need to join your subscription plan - like I did with Vinapu... A 4 hands massage with JJ and OLE would be amazing and in my case probably lead to premature ejaculation - oops - slow down guys...
  21. YES, let us reap the benefits from Vinapu's experiences..... In my opinion, Vinapu is the "gift that keeps on giving...." Thank you @vinapu, I have had some great meetings with great referrals from you and other forum members.... Some bad apples along the way - but hey, that is part of the journey/adventure - as long as the few bad apples do not spoil the entire basket of good apples...
  22. an update on the original topic https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/general/2860812/law-to-tax-income-from-overseas-in-the-works
  23. yes, slowly slowly Boyztown and even the Jomtien Supertown Complex are losing their peak performance. The anchor of Boyztown, BoyzBoyzBoyz is no longer fun; A-Bomb without gogo dancers - now only a show; Sunee Plaza now practically a ghost town, and Supertown now having another difficult slow season and hanging on for the hoped for uptick, when many members in this forum will return for high-season from the end of October through March. Nothing wrong with you Vinapu. I saw it with my own eyes - the guys are enchanted and very happy to see you again... What you are experiencing is "false marketing" - the guys are telling you what you want to hear to get the sale but then not delivering on what was promised. Unfortunately, this phenomena has gained momentum in the last year and I cannot understand why. Perhaps the partners of the guys that we like to off are no longer allowing their guys to stay out all night long ? Or, perhaps they have lost their "interest" in keeping us happy ? Remember how perplexed I was with that sexy Hotmale guy from Myanmar that I brought back to my Raya room for him to only fall asleep - no matter what I tried to do to arouse him. And when I tried again in the morning after he slept very well (I did not as I don't sleep well with unknowns in my bed), I recommenced to arouse him for him to get hard and then to fall asleep again - talk about being frustrated. So, when I pulled him up into the upright position to tell him that I needed to pack and go, he was startled. I told him that his overnight LT rate was being reduced to a ST due to a lack of performance - he acknowledged and apologized.
  24. Good observation @spoon --> because I see in the Twitter (X) - LINE chat group for Massage_Insider that those forum guys have bundled together JeySpa and Glam with the offering of the "H" service designation. Maybe same owners ?
