Day 9 Another mosquito free night sleeping by open window. I packed little I had with me , went to Dolce Vita for breakfast and right on the street caught remork ( motorized rickshaw) to the airport. Cheap at 5 $ and even in morning traffic it took us perhaps 30 – 40 minutes to get there. I took care to makes sure my daypack is wrapped arround my leg as bag snatching is not unknown in PP and I even know people who were victims of that ON THE SAME DAY THEIR FLAT BACK HOME WAS BURNED. Talk about bad luck accumulation. I was not as stupid as them though and had passport and money on me , not in the luggage. My flight was at 11 am, breeze through immigration at Swampy ( I flew back with Thai Viet Air, one of stewards was super handsome hunk and in one moment he sent me to stratosphere when he bent to pick up something and hit my elbow with his steely and shapely buttocks , yum !!!). Raya had room ready for me , not the same I had before but identical few doors further. I went to UNESCO listed Foodland for my newly discovered treat of rice chicken soup, very yummy and economic treat at 62 baht. At 4.30 on the dot as arranged through the Line former Jey Spa masseur came and we had super good time despite language barrier but technology helped. Not that we talked that much as we found more sinful things to do. He was even more active than before – advantage of knowing your client I guess. Endearing part – knowing that I know one of his friends he suggested I will hire him one day as he doesn’t have much business lately. Promised and executed (promise , not boy ) on my last full day. 3000 well spent which is in line with what I was paying him at Jey (1250 room +1800 tip) when he was there. After he left soon after I ha pleasure to wish Happy Birthday to Bkkmjf who arrived to Raya yesterday and has his birthday today. I was glad to hear he did not waste previous day but spent it discussing water diversion of Parana river with certain hunky specialist I introduced to him previously. That professional was in turn introduced to me by Spoon few years ago so as you can see it’s all in gentlemanly circle. After exchanging news accumulated since last week when we dined in Pattaya we went to UNESCO etc. to meet other member for another hour and half of gentlemanly talk, subject of which you can easily imagine. Today is not only Bkkmfj birthday , it also \p birthday party for Jessica , one of Moonlight mamasans , event well publicized by Moonlight and it was right business move. When we arrived at 9.30 it was full already to a degree they had bit problem of sitting us together. 10 models were on the stage in front of which mid aged farang was sitting with his entourage including my favorite from Moonlight Y and # 10 I’m salivating about since May. Thay distributed shots with 100 baht note, custom I don’t particularly like but I guess nobody is forced to drink for money. Tips were flowing freely as well as 1000 baht garlands, some models got quite a few of those but every one at least one. You know now what I meant by good business move. Birthday girl herself was beautiful and made sure she talked briefly with everybody present. So it was lots of fun. Yes there was show and floor boys had their chance to present themselves as well. Several of them were treated with thar forced drink and 100 baht notes too. It's nice to party but I did not forget about real life. I noticed #27 is trying to make an eye contact frequently , perhaps too frequently to a degree I felt bit pressed but after a while he went to see other clint at opposite side of bar, enriched by 100 baht tip as he was passing by me. I usually off only boys who are trying to make eye contact or sent some signal toward me some other way- smile etc. but today , no doubt pushed by the devil I decided to tempt the fate. I was eying certain guy on the stage but cant sat he did the same and decided on the game. I will ask my ember friend whom he likes the most and if he picks up the same guy I will of him , if not I will worry what to do. Yes, he pointed at the same guy saying “ I think you will like him” so fate spoke. I waved boy over, of course bypassing leechy mamasan just to annoy him bit more and over drink we agreed on his visit in my room. Soon we were marching ( floridarob, did you hear that? ) to Raya, not that it was long walk. In the room I realized I made another omission but not asking in the bar about time. So what about now ? LT , no problem 6000. Ouch no, I pay 4000 max. No, What about ST ? 3000 and he was firm and we settled on that. Professional side was impeccable , he was in doggy position immediately but it’s not how I operate . I like fake romance and taking things slowly, fuck and go is not my style but certainly it was what he came here for. So our meeting was brief and kind of uncomfortable for both of us. Not before long he suggested he wants ‘ cash and go” and I clearly seeing we are not matching paid up by dues and bit upset I let him go after less than 1 hr., not my style at all. Later on I saw him on Grindr and while picture was accurate it was made way the he looked much more massive than in reality. I can ‘t say he misled me as he had good case claiming the same , clearly we weren’t made for each other although I like his face , body and even that readiness for work on the spot. Bit uneasy I combed Grindr and noticed Dreamboys master kisser so asked about finishing night with me. ‘How much you give me?” was question at 2.30 am. 2500 was my response. 2500 I can see you for max 1 hr, 4000 max 2 hrs was price list I got in response so I said ‘thank you but no, thank you “ . so it looks I couldn’t celebrate neither bkkmfj’s not Jessica’s birthday in style I’d like.

that is very sound advice to be followed by everybody. Not only mitigates possible loss by theft but also limits our spending in case we get too excited and start buying drinks to everybody and his brother-in-law. I never miss an opportunity to say that in my, now 35 trips to Thailand I never had any loss from the room , other than may be beer drunk from the fridge. Considering that I mainly off long time with inevitable period of sleep that attests well to the honesty of guys we hire there. Only case I had money missed was somewhere between Hero and my room so either it was pulled from my pocket by thief (not necessarily Thai , mind you ) on crowded train or I just dropped it accidentally when buying a ticket on the station

In fact you can even prearrange for earlier arrival, just give boy money to pay his off fee later or prepay day before and tell him to be in your place say, at 6.30 pm. In fact this will be a case in Day 10 of my travel report. Money is money and bar are flexible but remember boys need to report for work at certain time, hence need of prearranging off fee payment . Yes , some boys may be in the show or waiters required to stay on the job till bar closes but that will be cleared on one by one basis. I had cases that boy could skip his number in the show but I usually wait until he is done as they get some money for their performance.

actually not at all as in most bars boys start congregating about 9 or so. Often it's even case of early bird and worm . When we visited Banana club at 9 there were 4 boys on the stage , at least 2 outstanding and other 2 acceptable by my standards and only few customers . Soon one of boys was gone with client before bar started to fill up. Only danger of offing early is that boy may try to rush things in order to return to bar for next chance or to party away your money with his friends.

Day 8 In bed at 2 am, air was quite pleasant so I decided to risk malaria and slept with opened balcony door only to wake up at 10 to the sound of rain. So much for sightseeing but no harm done as I was in PP before quite a few times. Armed with umbrella I went for breakfast to Dolce Vita restaurant and on my way back got a haircut for extortionate 3$. I know that price is 2$ but allowed myself to be fleeced from extra dollar. As my room was quite opulent I did not mind to outwait rain inside. Early afternoon it eased up I walked to Paradise massage above Prince of Cambodia bar. They had 3 boys on duty , I picked most suitable. 1.5 hr massage 15$. It wasn’t bad at all. At one point I made some well understood moves, accepted resulting proposal for 20$ extra tip and we started chapter 2. Not fireworks but very pleasant , so pleasant that I upped tip to 25$ on departure earning squeak and extra kiss. Supper in the same Polish place, nice to have a break from Asian fare. Then rain started again but I braved myself to walk to Space Hair along the river in that drizzle. It what umbrellas are for. At the bar nice surprise , one of yesterday’s guy absent but another one present, one whom I met bit closer on two occasions. That built hopes for the night but it did not work as I hoped- my question was pre-emptied when he said he is taking bus to province at 5 am. At opportune moment I asked ‘husband “ about possibility of checking my rare Angkorian coin collection and we even exchanged Line to facilitate particulars but I hoped in vain as answer came “I can not”. So no trophy this time but since there it’s always a bonus and hard to get one I was not disappointed going home empty handed and bit imbibed with gin and tonic. I had fun and it’s all what counts. Sure oiled with some money but I always stick to my Mom’s mantra – you don’t have money for vacation, don’t go until you have.

Day 7 After breakfast I packed few things to take with me to Phnom Penh, rest tucked into suitcase and on departure at noon left in deposit with reception as I will be returning to Raya after tomorrow. Check out at 12 , my plane departs at 3 so lots of time to get to Don Muang and have a duck with rice in coupon restaurant in the walkway between SRT station and terminals. My usual way of getting to and from Don Muang is BTS to Mor Chit, then 2 stations by MRT to Bang Sue and then red line SRT to the airport. It takes roughly 60 minutes , much better than 1hr by slow, rickety local train from Hualampong previously. For reason unknown for that 1hr flight Air Asia assigned me seat in their premium section in row up front, not that I complained. In PP 5$ for SIM card, 10 $ for tuk-tuk to the hotel. Beauty of Cambodia is that one doesn’t need to change money as long as has USD’s although changing some money to riels helps with small purchases as don’t expect restaurant charging 4$ for a meal have change from 100 $ note. So I exactly did that, exchanged 100 $ into local money. By time I settled n my Ok Place Hotel it was darkening so I went for a supper to Polish restaurant nearby , one I discovered by chance in January. My only goal for such short hop was Space Hair bar visit and I already reported on it in PP thread as below : “ Happy to report I visited Phnom Penh recently to get a haircut and visit Space Hair bar 2 nights in row. Both nights I was only customer between 9pm and midnight, only then some customers arrived and sat till close at 2 pm. So not unpleasant task of entertaining all 7 bays present each evening fell on me. I did it with pleasure and expense was worth it. Best thing about Space Bar is absolute lack of pressure to buy drinks or/and dispense tips. knowing what question everybody wants to ask, answer is : no this time I did not get lucky, not for lack of trying. Thing is with no other customers it's hard to get that discrete moment when crucial questions can be asked. Still it was worth time and expense “ It was bit strange to be only customer but drinks are cheap and boys super friendly . One of them seeing me seated when he arrived , screamed ‘ my husband is here “ , this only was worth 100 $ airfare. As boys generally don’t go with customers , it takes a lot of discreet work to convince one to and lack of other customers was not conductive to discretion as all eyes and ears were on me. As result I went home empty handed. At 2 am streets were deserted so I opted for 2$ remork ( motorized rickshaw), bargained down to 5000 but at destination gave him 2$ (8000 riels). For their troubles I tipped each of 7 boys either 20000 or 5$ and make exception for ‘husband” forcing discretely 10$ on him extra as reward for not divorcing me yet.

Day 6 Today bit touristy day. I went to Grand Palace area by the boat to browse markets there and was very successful as I did not spent a penny. Weather today quite agreeable so I decided to take a walk from there , all the way to National Stadium BTS station. Commented already in one of threads that I was shocked to find quite a long stretch of the street without any trace of 7/11. It felt like being transposed to some other country. But when I finally found one, standing in front of it unwrapping ice cream , I could see another two in short distance. Arrived in the hotel at 3 and jet lag raised it’s ugly head, collapsed on the bed (alone !!!) and slept till dark. I noticed that already few years ago that with age jet lag is tormenting me more and more. I’m not trying to fight it, simple when I feel sleepy I just go to the bed and sleep. At 21.00 met another member in Foodland for supper , thanks to one of boys I discovered they make very tasty soup. Staff there must be wondering why I’m not breakfasting as always but this time I have breakfast in Raya, it was only 2 $ more for the same room with breakfast then without so choice was obvious. As I have plan to visit every bar at least once and my friend did not have any particular agenda I suggested Dreamboys. Quite full but we got good seats in front of the scene. Two rotation of boys , perhaps two dozen per rotation. Few familiar faces, including nr 27, transplant from Moonlight whom I offed from there in May , serious contender for world’s championship in kissing . Soon I shortlisted my list of desirables to four, said # 27 and three other hunks with numbers 5, 77 and 109. In several minutes 5 and 27 were seated with customers and 109 offed altogether so my choice was quite mainstream it seems. I was hoping to see certain Handsome Cambodian I saw there in May but he seemed to be absent or gone. No harm done as tonight I had my sights on Moonlight sand it’s where we went next , arriving exactly during model parade greeted enthusiastically by few mamasans and smiles in my direction from few boys. One of mamasans leached on me as it’s his habit, suggested he can call Y, knowing he is my favorite from there but my sights were on handsome numbers 9 and 10 but both were called over by other customers and mamasan suggested J # 30, Viet , claiming he is keen on LT. As it happened I knew the same from spoon so called boy over when mamasan went away for a second , just to annoy him as reason for his leaching is tip extraction. Indeed LT was agreed and soon off we went to Raya. Since my room was on floor 5 , we took an elevator to 4th and walked one floor up , just to maintain discretion. (for those not in the know, reception in Raya is on 5th floor). Earlier I asked if J is hungry but he was not. Choice proved excellent, warm , muscular and active, he suggested massage and it was bordering on professional so he likely got some training. Excellent compensation for previous sandbag night. Excellent pick I can vouch for. No rush in the morning although he declined breakfast so I feasted alone after he left. Definite highlight of 1st half of this trip and money well spent. Very well !

quite similar to my case from 2014 I described above. In case of boys from apps is good practice to meet them outside of room - in restaurant , on street somewhere or at minimum no further than lobby. In case we don't like what we see it makes escape from the deal easy. As soon as he is in the room , things may become hairy if not outright dangerous ( I know one of former members needed to resort to remove boy by force but try that with aspiring bodybuilder )
