Few reflections on my so called Quasi Boyfriend Experience / term borrowed from a447a / . Some readers may wonder if whole affair described above is worth a trouble. I somehow skipped Tawan for years. I don't even know why as boys there are my type. Since I braved myself to enter back in Nov 2014 / my 9th trip / I like bar and their attitude , sexy and friendly. I need to second this opinion, always had only praises for Om Yim but after last trip I spent last three night at Om Yim I'm also more neutral. Restaurant expanded but no longer open at breakfast time , this is minor inconvenience since breakfast was not included anyways in the room price. I had their biggest and most costly room and while generally was clean and well maintained can't say this about toilet where big plunger was prominently featured. Toilet did not flush properly and that was reason. I don't think plunger is the solution for more than half day but it was in constant use during my three day. Embarrassing for me and my guests. This should not be allowed in any class hotel . Two massive cockroaches which I spotted in the room weren't welcomed too. So at end of day like z909 says above, Om Yim is recommended for good value and location but with reservation. Hope they somehow get the message
