I think certain degree of disappointments is included in joy of boy hunting in LOS. What we imagine based on other's impressions not necessarily bears fruit in reality. I started feel sorry for you guys above when I realized I was victim of my own eyes hunting three days in row for Dreamboy boy, landing two great guys in meantime and when finally my dream come true, dreams were shattered faster than one can say ' fuck you'. Bottom line is : be prepared that things will not work as our imagination wishes and don't allow shattered illusions to spoil your Thai vacations, there are many of handsome boys smiling at us and no need to dwell on those who did not. After all they have their own feelings and fact that we are salivating over them doesn't mean they need to feel the same. My receipt for disaster in to have trusted consolators / Namu from Bangkok massage and Dit from Arena /, good looking but not stunners and I feel secure I can always book one of them for warm encounter without any fireworks turning into burns in my hour of being pissed off.

From what I saw when strolling through Dongtan one November afternoon I'd say thanks God for that prohibition. I don't think Thais are somehow more inclined toward prostitution than other nationalities, rather whole industry is better organized and for cultural reason lacks the stigma is attached to it in other places so is better visible. I believe as many Thais as others would be offended by offer of money for sex , we just have more to do with those who are looking for baht as they provide services we are looking for when traveling to LOS.

When I'm depressed I like to imagine myself decamping at BBB Inn and going to Arena through Suriwong and soi 6,passing by Tawan and Nature Boy, my usual first steps on most trips and I smile even if , like right now I have no slightest idea when it will happen. At times we are in direct competition with girls for the same boys in bar and it needs to be said often we are on losing side. If we like our boys why girls shouldn't? On few occasion I chatted with them and found them very open minded, one at X-boys even went as far as telling me she liked my choice of boy I had with me there / Dit form Arena /, we both were happy. Watching them reacting to boys advances is very entertaining but I understand some of us may not be comfortable with females in attendance of gay bar.

What I discovered when writing reports is good to be selfish and treat them more like our personal travel diary rather than something for public consumption. That way we have something we can return to and others have informative and entertaining but also honest posts. When one looks at forum's stats we can notice then even quite old travel reports are read daily by visitors so definitely there's community service in writing them. Nothing wrong with temple hopping to fill the day and if you do it with boy special you may be moved by his reaction.Just don't wear shorts while visiting them.
