I'm glad you said the above as it clearly shows that different people subscribe to different type of fun. all you said it may be considered truth but I like that bar ( twice this year I went to Phnom Penh basically with purpose to visit Space Hair ) and atmosphere there. Can't care less about owner and his boyfriends ,they are not a reason I go there. Both nice guys by the way and usually after few rounds I'm treated with free shot of gin or something. I like not intrusive fun boys are offering an yes , that struggle how to get them to meet you after hours. Glad to report I was more successful than not although it did not happen last time I was there in Aug, God is my witness I tried, lol . It looks I misstepped talking tip too soon.

are you looking at the mirror when typing that? eh?

you must be Asian, lol

Are you sure it's street 300 ? I think you meant street 330, that's short street facing Tuol Sleng Prison. Love Spa is on street 350 , two blocks south of 330. I second your take on Hatha Khmer , great facilities , massages and crew I wouldn't stay in neither Rambutan nor Arthur and Paul next door for exactly opposite reason you did not like Sun and Moon - too quiet and too far from the center although with transport easily available it's not big issue. My massage at A and P was bit disappointing , shiny facilities but no soap in shower ? I agree that staying there could be exciting as stuff seem to be willing although when I was there nobody was THAT outstanding but I may be matter of taste. I'd never stay in Sun and Moon neither across the street in Queenwood hotels ( or is it Woodqueen?) for simple reason . Both are right by Space Hair and even if one finds guy there interested in seeing stamp collection , he my not be interested at all in being seen to enter either hotel as they are very discreet about their outside of bar activities if any.

Nong Nooch Gardens and Sanctuary of Truth are , I'd say world class attractions, there's also Wat Siem with only original Terracota Warrior outside of China.

Getting there, getting there. I'm not one who sights missing former glory but I must say that Aqua Spa is place I miss indeed, I'd venture to say even more than soi Twilight.( in soi Twilight days of glory I was more like massage boys hunter)

fantastic idea, imagine all those sweaty bodies exercising and you call one to have a rest over drink right beside you , yum, yum. And where's better place to flash all that sweat if not shower in our room in nearby hotel ?

covid did it
-
yes and that it's how I spotted exercising certain Handsome Cambodian whom I still see almost every trip.
-
it did and it was always full of exercising guys. It was time place was very popular and my first semi-permanent guy Pom was from there. But that's prehistory

I don't see any difference other that I like underwear of boy without better

I would gladly do but there's some problem - one three occasions I tried to attract his attention by way of forcing him to accept 100 baht tip during their walk and never got that confirmation smile I was waiting for during next walkabout. So I suspect I may not be his dream customer which hurts my fragile ego enormously. Still not giving up

for 3 days , yes

thanks God as you could be in trouble. Years ago it happened to my then coworker visiting Laos and he ended up bribing somebody 100 USD just to let him out. Good news is that soon with automating admission process stamps may be thing of the past for most of visitors.

It remains to be seen if that noble idea catches up and how market reacts to it. It may suck it up or do what my friend mentioned above did for his 5 weeks trip , instead of 5 weeks in Bangkok he converted it to 5 days in beginning and 2 at end of trip with the rest in between , whole 4 weeks , spend in Malaysia and Vietnam. Also it may work for less popular destinations within Thailand which may cash in on their much cheaper offerings
-
than it would be something like Tawan (The One ), not sure I'm looking for a copy. I hope it will be place with freely circulating guys who can be offered drink in exchange for company and tip as well as chance of discreetly negotiating possible meeting outside of bar business hours
-
if done right it may turn out to be "6-free " with tourists added to the mix highlighted

Fully agree. When they cleared Silom from stands many people commented that finally it will be easier to walk there to which my comment was that we have clear sidewalks at home so why bother to travel. I'm afraid that march to look like Singapore already started with hotel prices going up quite fast . Friend of mine who stays in Sukhumvit area and travels in second half in January told me that the same type of room in the same hotel in soi 5 he stay last year for the same dates is now 3/4 more expensive 105 vs 60 $

I don't have an intention to settle in Thailand permanently but will be waiting impatiently on you take on comparison of all three. ...................... as expat you have a right to spend your money while not looking nervously behind your back if you will be robbed

one less competitor if we happen to be at the bar on the same day, he, he I'm still tempted, who cares about a bit of ink placed in wrong spot ? One of our members I trust gives him highest recommendation and there's another whom I also trust who is little bit more reserved with accolades. So I simply need to do scientific research to find who is right and why. Funny thing , higher praise is coming from post-tattoo period

I hope it will be similar format to what Dragon Koi is now and that of Space Hair bar in Phnom Penh , just with more hunky boys who are not outstretching hands and lowering briefs at every turn to ask for tips . I don't mind girls in audience as long as they behave and usually they do. If we need to compete with them for boys - let me tell everybody that from my experience , even with my grey hair , we still stand good chance.
