it looks that boys are upping their game quite fast. Whether market supports such prices remains to be seen, after this weekend if may be noticeable drop in number of customers. I remember similar occurrence reported by our member who was there at that time one year ago. With customer numbers down so should prices one hopes. I personally wouldn't tell boy 'I might come tomorrow " if I did not plan to. Boys taught me to be allergic to promises not intended to be kept and made only to keep world peace or business hopes rolling. I learned to be bold when comes to pricing and tell them something nice to that effect "that's too much for me today". if he doesn't yield , that way we both know where we are standing . Next time I may be one who yields , lol

it's "you call the guy ' , either directly or asking mamasan to. It's extremely rare that the guy approaches you on go-go bars and I'd say only endemic to The One(Tawan) and likey Atlas as many their boys migrated there. And even there boy will not sit with you unless invited. Mamassans , sensing newbie are another story . In either case " no, thank you " suffices for an answer . Of course different situation is if you show up in the bar where you offed the same boy few times. As soon as he sees you he may treat you as his property and invite himself to sit beside but even that is not general occurrence. In general they take ' no ' for an answer without much fuss so don't feel terrorized , just go and have fun. No need to tip anybody who did not sit with you unless you want to- this is how I signalize to a boy my interest in him on future visit.

1. As Keith said above , in case of girl bars you barfine them , in case of boy bars you off them. It's why you see term only on gay Thailand boards. In order to take boy of premises you must pay bar " off fee ", it's usually 500 baht but some bars may ask for more. In Moonlight bar it's 500 for go-go boys but 1000 for "models" , That money goes to bar , not boy. Boy will be tipped by you in the room 2. No, there are taxis available and you can take him wherever your hotel is although it's not unknown to science that some boys may not feel like travelling too far , specially to unknown area with after all, unknown customer 3. You see guy you like , you can ask mamasan to bring him to you or , like I do, just motion him yourself to come to you . Usually you offer him a drink to know him bit better and discuss terms of engagement but it's quite possible that you do 'dry run if you are decided. Just ask him if he goes with you and he will go to dress in street clothes. If you notice some suspension of reaction , its better to offer that drink and talk to him over drink about what you guys exactly want to do together . You can take guy at any time but those who are in the show (not all boys are) may not be permitted to leave before show ends. yes, always will. That's the guy who when covid struck instead begging his clients cup in hand got a job washing shoes in 2nd hand shoe store, just to stay afloat. I sent him some money alarmed by forum member about his dire situation even if we met only once before that. Two years later our paths crossed in soi4 and he recognized and thanked me , again even if we met once. So yes I have soft spot for him and not only because his good look and elbow's shape. Two weeks after that unfortunate incident we met in Pattaya and made up. Saw him almost every trip ever since and God willing , will again.

I get it., makes sense . Some readers of my trip reports may recall about two years ago I took guy from Pattaya to Bangkok for 4 days of vacations (for him) and he lasted only overnight. When in the morning I pointed out that when I'm awake he should drop his phone and pretend to pay attention to me, he just packed up, said ' wish you good luck" and left. Granted , it was extreme case of addiction and he cured himself of it when realized how much money he is forfeiting because his telephone and smoking habits. Last time I hosted him I don't think I even see his phone.

I must say it's not my experience , my friends and cousins over Christmas were more annoying in this respect than most boys I met in Thailand where guuys seems to reacyt well when I tell them 'leave that phone " if comes to it

We are talking about Atlas bar, home of hunks which may be everywhere in say, California but kind of rarity in SE Asia so obviously their market price reflects that. Guys from other Bangkok bars may be happy with 2000-2500 and Saranrom guys are still asking for 500. Drinks are mostly 500 in some bars bit less , off fee almost uniformly 500 , only Moonlight from models is asking for 1000 and they may ask 6000-7000 for a tip. As for Pattaya drinks there are 200-300 but BBB wants 1050 of fee for their guys and apparently XBoys wants 800. Classic boys may be the same. In my opinion it's hotels in the Silom and Sukhumvit area which went up the most so when you will be coming use old travellers advice " bring half things and twice as much money" . Rest assured fun is still to be had in Thailand. Comparing prices to what it was 5 years ago is counterproductive and only helps to make you bitter although it's favorite sport of all of us. I noticed that when I change subject to earnings comparison , subject tends to be changed.
