if they have customer from Grindr it's fine but if it's out of sheer laziness I side with hank above, it's arrogance. While 200 is not a lot , it's still plenty enough for anybody to get their ass from the chair and lift it from the floor and thinking otherwise invites bad karma. I once arranged with popular guy I liked a lot for mid-day meeting , not sure it was 1.5 k or perhaps even 2000. We were supposed to meet at 3pm in front of his , at that time closed, bar. After waiting 30 mins I went my way , only to receive message around 5 pm "sorry , I slept in". it took me 2 or 3 trips before I stepped in his bar again. We talk and drink again but can't bring myself to off him again .

exactly because skirmish is miniscule and senseless , nobody outside needs to join, few angry sounding ' fuck you ' or the like from somebody in charge would fast calm hot heads on both sides . I'm surprised Xi did not do his part yet. As for downing the plane, I'm not sure you know that planes are not always all the time high up there. Hard to believe but from time to time they are taking off or landing making the more vulnerable. Ask some VietCong veteran -

until one of their own people will be killed by the stray bullet or rocket or , even worse their plane will be brought down by the same. Then watch -

but pressure from immediate neighbours and biggest trading partners may do the trick as those skirmishes are destabilizing region and there's enough trouble with Myanmar already -

I need one but yes , my guest are treated with fresh towel so you are right, at least on certain days like Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday I need more -
while I agree with you and in reality I prefer straight guys as I have an impression they try harder, there may be others who actually may see difference for many reasons and may opt for either one. the same is with top/ bottom , kisser / not kisser , twink / hunk divide and list goes on and on.

not long ago there was faded old sign still hanging there , good 10 years after that bar closed

makes sense and i think it's good business practice

yes and no. Bars are not post office or store where slowing employees can be assigned back room duties by firm out of sense of loyalty. In entertainment business they need to measure up if even most successful employee of the past is still pulling in clients or pushing them away. We all miss certain boys even if they are losing bit of their shine but I'm sure we have also those who are not interest us any more and still when we show up they try to stick to us immediately, effectively pushing other boys away . I'm trying to be polite and not name anybody but there are guys for whom for this or that reason ( lost looks, greed , unreliability, lies etc. ) I lost hots for completely and don't want them to plant beside me and ask for drink and tip which happens with certain regularity.

I don't recall that from Furama Kuala Lumpur so not sure -
that brings us to another set of issue - boy who overstay their welcome. In some bars there are guys who are veterans of almost forgotten soi Twilight and one I saw on my last visit in Atlas I considered too old when he was in Classic Boys at end of soi. It's quite possible that still have their loyal clients or bars are keeping them as performers in more progressive parts of shows, even simple let them be out of sense of loyalty to devoted employees. Again , it's for bars to decide. Needs to be said it's two way street. When I visit bars sometimes I say to myself "oh, no, he is still there ? " , specially when boy is kind of pushy and tends to take ownership of their old customer right away . On another hand there are those I'm happy to see back after long absence or would be happy if they actually showed on the stage again. Alex from Moonlight or Oud from Jupiter transplanted there from Tawan are in my mind now Some of boys age very , very well and stay in shape well past their prime age, others not so with booze and smoke usually being a reason. Bottom line of all that is that again there are no hard rules in all that bar liturgy. Some veterans are chasing me away by their sight entering the bar but there are those I'd get through a lot of trouble to see them again, even if only to get a hug and handshake

I liked how new Hotei Park Silom operates. If you don't hang the sign ' clean my room ", they won't , but still will leave bag with 2 bottles of water and roll of toilet paper at your door in the morning. -
my guy worked and still they wanted to charge me

That's between bar and boy .Why I as customer should pay off fee for boy I brought there from another bar , at boys insistence to boost so obviously he was not hesitant to go there is not clear for me. Big time not clear. that is for boys themselves to assess. Not that you are wrong as from few boys I heard that they like to work there but also know one who flatly refused to move when they moved to soi 4 and another one who after working there for few days hastily returned to his previous bar. But this is pretty universal in any workplace, withe bosses and co-workers - some like it and some not. Anyways since we have plenty of choices is for one to accept bar policy as it is or move somewhere else but it looks that warning of not going to Jupiter with boy who worked there in last 25 years is sound advice.
