You're right, firecat. All we can really do is accept that things have changed and decide whether or not the drink prices are worth it. I tend to spent my time in Pattaya these days but when I spend a few nights in Bangkok (for shopping) I usually give in and go to the soi twilight bars. If the show is good, then I don't mind paying. You've now got me planning a trip around April next year, although the World Cup may disrupt those plans.
