  1. We visited Eros last night aroun 12:00 I think. There were 2 customers and only 3 boys "dancing" inside so like the night before, I heard they closed at 12:30. A couple of guys were dressed and sitting outside. Mind you, there must be some boys around as we saw one farang go into his apartment with 4 boys. (NIrish, I didn't realise you were in Pattaya...lol) I don't know about the other bars, but if that's the situation in Eros, God help the other bars. That's the benefit if finding a guy and staying with him. Butterflies have had their wings well and truley clipped, I'd think.
  2. "Fact that he offered to participate shows he is decent boy and understands our money doesn't grow on trees. Likely he feels better too as he bought it with a little of help from you, right?" Exactly! I just have to resist the temptation to give him back his money on the day I leave...lol But I'll try not to, as it gives him ownership. He's absolutely glued to it. I'm sure he even sleeps with it...haha. We just got back from the shop where I bought him a cover and a shoulder bag. So now he's all set up. His smile hasn't left his face.
  3. Haha...and of course, you know the bar well. It's the one you introduced me to. As for the guy "being different" you know what I mean. He's different to the point where I just stick with (and in) him. He's actually saved me a fortune as I no longer have to bar hop looking for someone. He's gorgeous!!!
  4. But what about me??????
  5. Things are pretty quiet in Pattaya at the moment; not dead but only just surviving, or so it would seem. Last night we dropped by Eros at 9 pm but there was only one customer. One boy was amusing himself chuck-wowing another boy on the sofa. We went back at 12:30 but the bar was closed! I'm not bar hopping;I'm with the same guy I spent my last holiday with. He drops by around noon for an afternoon of fun, we go out to eat and then back to the room. We then go out to one of the beer bars, but last night we were the only customers. The night before a stunning young (30ish) Russian came into the bar. He sat next to me and got very touchy-feely. (My guy had left by then and I was just finishing my drink). I had had enough to drink but found myself ordering more beers as I wanted to stay with the Russian guy. I think I ended up having about 5! He was wearing an open shirt and put my hand on his beautiful chest. He then placed my hand on his cock. Wow, what a thick sausage! He wasn't hard, but it wasn't difficult to imagine what it would be like when standing to attention. Unfortunately, his Russian friend turned up and he left. The biggest problem for the gogo bars at the moment is probably not the lack of customers; it's the World Cup. Boys are staying home to watch the football. Or so I was told by one of the mamasans. I've also been caught up in the World Cup. I went shopping with my guy to Tukom. He was looking longingly at a certain device - I won't mention what it was, but you can probably guess-it's what the boys all ask for. In the past I've always said "no" as I probably wouldn't see the boy again. But this guy is different -I spend my entire holiday just with him. He was drooling as we walked past all the booths, so I asked him if he wanted one. "Too expensive," he said. We kept walking and eventually he said he could pay some money towards it. What?? I've never heard a guy say that before. So in the end, I agreed and bought it fir him. The amount he put towards it was a lot for him, but probably not much for us. But it was the offer that surprised me; I was really impressed. Well, sine then he's spent just about ALL of his time on it, checking the football scores! He comes to my room and out it comes -the device, I mean. "What about me??" I ask...lol It's all my fault. Having said that, he does switch it off when we hop into bed and we still spend a couple of hours enjoying ourselves. Then after the shower, it's back to the device. Oh, well, it doesn't really matter. We watch things together and it's good for conversation. I'm so glad I bought it for him because I've never seen anyone so happy in all my life! So that is my Pattaya report. I just wish it football would finish! Other than that..... Life's good!
  6. Thanks, Finally. Now I know who you mean. I didn't see him at NB last time I was there. It also explains why Oh is now working behind the bar.
  7. Is that "veteran" one of the boys from NB or is it one of the mama sans? I was disappointed to see that my favourite guy from NB, Oh, was no longer on the floor,so to speak, but was working behind the bar - some kind if promotion. I wonder if he is the mamasan at GC.
  8. Ah, the Golden Cock. When I first started visiting Bangkok I was always at a loose end should I feel horny during the day. Then I discovered the GC. But it went down the plug hole a few years ago and wasn't worth visiting - unless Pan was there. I'm glad to read they're revamping the place and have some guys there now. I usually found myself being the only customer and sitting with the fat guy. Nice guy but definitely not my type. I hope you can report on it soon, Firecat. May make a trip to Bangkok worthwhile, despite the curfew.
  9. "To sum up, you recognize that Neal was both good and bad, but you only saw the bad so you feel justified in taking revenge on him by coming on this board where you seldom have posted lately and besmirching his name now that he is dead. You clearly see nothing wrong in doing this. Sad, very sad" “People understand me so poorly that they don't even understand my complaint about them not understanding me.” I'm sure you know who said that, KhorTose. KhorTose, sorry but you're wrong. I have recognised what I considered Neal's good points in a post on another board. I did not post my experiences on this board as I thought Neal was not a member here. Apparently, he was. And I am at a loss how it is even possible to "take revenge" on someone who has died. All you can do is tell your side if the story. That's what i said i was doing in the post above. It's not about "revenge." I'm surprised that you, of all people, can't comprehend that. And I think you'll find I have indeed been making posts here lately, but not about Neal. I guess you feel that if someone dies, then nothing should be posted - or at least, only positive things should be mentioned. As I said, in real life that doesn't happen. Don't you read the newspapers? Never read a warts-and-all biography about someone who has died? God help us if they feel it necessary to censor what they write for fear that someone might feel it is somehow inappropriate. As for your suggestions, I do not have a problem with starting a new thread. Whether or not such a thread should appear on a board dedicated to "Gay Thailand" is, however, debatable.
  10. I, for one, unfortunately was unable to "chuckle." It's easy to suggest that the "at least five other posters" should move on, but Neal was obsessed with getting revenge and refused to move on himself; he just couldn't let go. I cut all ties with him but the threats of personal harm and of finding out my true identity so as to somehow have me arrested at Immigration continued unabated. I have no interest in "pissing" or " dancing" on Neal's grave. Nor am I "bashing someone that is dead." I'm only interested in giving an account if my experience with him in order to counter the few positive accounts of how he was such a nice guy who "hated un-truthfulness" (give me a break! When Neal owned the BB he allowed one of his lackeys to post that I was a pedophile - a convicted one in Australia no less! The poster then wondered how a convicted pedophile could possibly be allowed to enter Thailand. (That in itself is proof that he was lying.) Of course, no evidence was ever supplied to back up that assertion, but Neal chose to remain silent. So much for a guy who 'hated un-truthfulness!") His death is a legitimate topic to write about, given that, at one time, he was a well-known and influential member of the gay Pattaya community. It is ridiculous to suggest that nothing negative should be written about him because he has died - it happens all the time in the media. And I don't think my comments give Neal any "power" over me; on the contrary, if I had remained silent, then yes, it would have perhaps indicated that Neal had some kind of power over me and, thus, prevented me from telling my side of the story. "Neal knew his death was imminent and that his memory would be besmirched by his behavior and he chose not to make amends." And that is why he receives no compassion from me. And I know he would not want it, anyway.
  11. I've cancelled my planned trip to Bali and will be heading off to Pattaya soon. I am also a little worried about the airport closing but it seems the army would not stand aside this time and let that happen. Here's hoping, anyway. With the curfew lifted surely all the bars will be back to normal and the fun will continue as usual. If the curfew is still in place in Bangkok I'll give it a miss and stay in Pattaya. The upside of all of this is that it will be quick to clear Immigration (I walked straight through back in April, as many were scared off by the political shenanigans going on at the time) and there will be fewer customers in the bar, so more guys for me!...lol I must remember to visit Toyboys and Funnyboys this time. They are always a lot of fun. BTW some of the guys here have posted very interesting and detailed reports about South America. If only it wasn't so far! Vinapu, what's the gay scene like in Turkey?? I've always wanted to go there but have never gotten around to it. I might make the effort if there's a good gay scene there.
  12. "in both places boys are sitting outside to you can comb through the offer with no pressure and enjoy the drink / meal at Maxi's across the soi from Bangkok massage or Dick's beside Bonny at the same time" True, only nowadays you have to grab their attention rather than they wave and smile at you in order to grab yours - they are all focused on their mobile phones or playing video games. Customers come second, it would seem. You virtually have to walk up to them and tap them on the shoulder! The boss needs to spend more time downstairs. That was my experience the last few times.
  13. We stayed at the Radisson Blu in Shanghai this week and it was fantastic. We also stayed at the Park Plaza in Beijing and they belong to the same hotel group. Both were great - very similar rooms and facilities. I wonder if the Radisson allows you to bring "guests" back. In China it was a definite no-no. Btw it seems some hotels are not offering any special "coup" deals. The Rose Hotel has followed the typical Thai way of thinking when times are tough and actually raised its price by 200 baht!
  14. The bars now seem to rely soley on the Chinese/Korean market, as they are willing to pay those exorbitant prices. I'd be interested to know if there were any Chinese about; I heard they'd all cancelled.
  15. I've had sex with 2 guys I later saw on PBM. One worked at Happy Boys and was the only non-fem guy there. He was great in bed and loved to bottom. The other guy worked in a bar in Boyztown. I was shocked to see him barebacking in a movie and decided not to see him anymore. Shame, as he was really "yai" - 9 inches, if I recall.
  16. It was also quiet when I was there in April -except for Boysbangkok; as usual it was absolutely packed with Chinese customers, although I only saw a couple of guys being offed. The beer bars were pretty empty. Even if the majority of Chinese tourists decide to give Thailand a miss, there are still so many of them that they can still fill up a bar. I get the impression that Chinese gays are told back in China that Boysbangkok and Dreamboys are the 2 must-see bars in Bangkok, so they all flock there and give the other bars a miss.
  17. Hi Anonone, Great reporting. Did you take that video? I notice a guy stood up and took a photo. I thought that wasn't allowed.
  18. So he calls you a "pervert" (does he understand how strong this word is in English?) and never gets off. Sounds very strange, especially as sex is such a powerful expression of love and he seems to be reticent to express that towards you. And it is hardly a "little thing" - I imagine in a relationship based on love, it would be a HUGE thing. Have you ever asked him why he can't get off? Are you sure he's gay, and not just saying that? And is there money involved? If he is secretly straight and there is money involved, then maybe he will do the simple stuff (kissng, etc) but find it impossible to be turned on to the point of being able to cum. “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” Soren Kierkegaard Just a thought.
  19. My sentiments exactly! Well put, Michael.
  20. I saw this on BBC World News and I felt really sorry for the female newsreader; she couldn't stop laughing!
  21. I have taken a few street guys over the years - I met them outside Family mart next t soi twilight, or on the steps f the bank. One guy told me that he had a big cock and insisted we go across the street to the toilet in the car park so he could show me. We went straight back to my hotel...hehe. I think it is safe to take them back to your own hotel, but I wouldn't go to a short-time place with them. Overall, I prefer gogo boys. I just think it is safer. And I would NEVER go cruising in a park late at night - or any time at night for that matter. That is just asking for trouble.
  22. Don't we all! hehe
  23. Great report! I'm looking forward to the rest. And yes, I'm a sex tourist and readily admit it.
  24. You may have pointed to a potential clue, fountainhall. Pilots who fly for western airlines are now given special courses in cockpit communication, where a junior pilot is allowed (in fact, encouraged) to question the actions of the Captain if he feels something is not right. Given the Asian culture, this would be very hard indeed. So perhaps the other pilots just kept quiet.
  25. At first glance, the fact that an accident of this type should occur is unbelievable and points to pilot error. For one thing, the pilot should have completed at least 20 to 30 "landings" at SFO on the simulator before attempting the real thing. Perhaps he didn't. Secondly, pilots are certified to fly only one type of aircraft in order for them to become completely familiar with it. The pilot of this aircraft appears to be still in training on this aircraft. Thirdly, if he was being monitored by the captain, then the captain should have also had his hands on the throttle and could have easily taken charge. But to expect the engines to respond instantly to increased thrust is just farcical. It was all left far too late. And what about the alarms going off in the cockpit?? Were they all deaf, dumb and blind? And as fountainhall says, where were the altitude readings? Christ, it was a fine day so they could have even looked out the cockpit window and seen they were at the wrong altitude! And the fact that the Auto Glide System was not in operation is a worry. The investigation should be very interesting indeed.
