  1. I may be in the minority here, but despite assurances from the powers that be in Pattaya that there are no prostitutes in that squeaky clean city, I don't believe them! Sorry, but I don't. So if they succeeded in making Pattaya a family -friendly place, wouldn't the prostitutes just pack up en masse and go somewhere else? What are the authorities going to do? Chase them from city to city? I think that if a bar like, say, Goodboys were to open in Jomtien, that could be the catalyst for others to follow suit. We could then have one exclusively gay area in a well-defined part of town, easy to find and easy to get to. Boyztown can then just be a tourist attraction for the Chinese. BTW, If you don't like the tour groups gawking at you as they shuffle past, take out your phone and pretend you are taking a video of them. It's hilarious watching them hide their faces as they scurry down the soi. Works every time!
  2. "I dislike all of this. If you want a boy, pay the off fee and take him out." Well, it worked for Jack and it worked for me. Jack always told the customer he couldn't go with them. If I had taken him out of the bar then the customer he was sitting with would have still missed out. Besides, not every customer offs a boy, especially at Eros. As I said, Jack was a regular - I offed him every night over the duration of each holiday spent in Pattaya over a number of years. Offing him early would have left me in a quandary as to what to do before going back to the hotel. Neither of us drink so bar-hopping was off the schedule. By the time I'd arrived at the bar to pay the off fee, he'd already eaten. So he was happy to work and earn some extra cash; better than sitting in the room watching TV and definitely better than him accompanying me to Goodboys. We watched TV and chatted after sex. The customers still were able to enjoy the hands -on experience with him ; that's basically what Eros is all about. Having said that, I'd be totally pissed off if I sat with a boy and bought him drinks, only to be told later that he was already taken. I get that. But as I said, Jack let the customers know beforehand.
  3. I've booked lots of guys over the years as earlier in my sexcapades I returned many times to a bar, only to find the guy I was thinking of offing sitting with another customer or already gone. I always tell the boy to make good use of his time whilst waiting for me but do not get drunk. These days I also tell them not to cum for another customer. One of my favourite regulars from a number of years ago - Jack - worked at Eros. One night I came back for him and saw him sitting with a customer. He came over and said he'd come and sit with me but I told him to see if he could maybe get another drink out of the customer. Also, if he spent longer with the him he might get a bigger tip. Meanwhile, I'd enjoy the company of the other boys. I saw the customer mauling Jack, giving his cock a real workout. I could see they were discussing something. Suddenly, Jack came over and asked me if it would be ok if the customer wanked him. "He want to see me cum." The look on my face told him "no." "But I can cum for you, too. No probrem. Can cum many times." That's true, but still, the answer was a definite no. I was in a quandary now, as Jack had missed out on a big tip. But I ended up just giving him the money he would have earned from a chuck -wow. Problem solved. And we were both happy. Shame about the customer. So that is something you have to keep in mind if you book a guy for later. In your absence he might go with another customer. Or maybe two. Or he might cum in the bar for a customer. So he may not perform as expected back in the hotel. Jack was nice enough to at least ask my permission and I appreciated that.
  4. Mmmm...I could think of a few Issan "friends" who I'd be interested in seeing test that theory! Oh, and a few Shan boys, too.
  5. I've admired him from afar for ages, but have been reluctant to do anything about it, as he is so hot I think he deserves someone better than me. Also, he looks like an axe-murderer and I feel a bit intimidated, despite his gorgeous smile. And in a feeble attempt to stay on topic, does he wear two pairs of underwear??
  6. Is Bank the sexy hung hunk from Issan? I've noticed lots of guys wearing two pair of underpants. The answer I always got is the second pair is worn just to cover up the ones worn in the bar. God only knows why.
  7. Speaking of "bad" words (not swear words) in one of my early group wanking sessions with my Japanese high school mates I was asked what the word for "masu" was in English. I didn't know. It wasn't till years later that I discovered this most pleasant pastime was called "wanking" in English.
  8. An adjective? Hang on, isn't that what I originally wrote? So it's not an adverb? I'm so confused.

    The arrival

Please, vessey! A bit of decorum! Lol
  10. They have lots of sexually explicit words, but that's not swearing.
  11. I also don't have a problem with the boys trying it on. I would probably do exactly the same in their position. If only one in ten agrees to pay the outrageous fee, I'm ahead. And sure, the boys talk about us but they should also be aware that we talk about them and are quite knowledgeable about the sex business. And it's also true that boys go back to the bar and exaggerate what they have managed to squeeze out of the farang (I'm referring to money!). One boy from Eros asked me if I could send him 15000 baht every month. Apparently, another of my Eros off's told him that's what I was doing for him when I returned home. Yeah, right! Toyboys can quote whatever fee they want for ST or LT, but at the end of the day, it's between you and the boy. It's none of the bar's fucking business. I firmly believe that no matter what you pay, both of you must go away happy. Afterall, it takes two to tango.

    One day to go

And that's a perfect example of what I was referring to in my thread : "Do Thais swear?"
  13. Many of those words are very much in use in Japanese, but only when you are having an argument. Others are just an impolite way of talking. E.g. "busu" is a not very nice way of describing an ugly girl, but it hardly classifies as swearing. Also, that list contains many mis-translations. "Kono yarou!" simple means 'this guy", "chikusho" means "beast" not "Oh shit." There are lots more. There's a big difference between socially unacceptable words and swearing /cursing. So I ask the question again : Is there a way to say "it's fucking hot!"?? That's the kind of swearing I'm referring to. And that's the type of swearing that doesn't exist in Japanese.
  14. As someone who doesn't speak Thai, I could visit 10 times a year and still not understand what they are saying. Kindly explain the connection between hearing a language and understanding it. Not all languages have swear words. I've already given you an example. Plus, some native speakers are reluctant to tell you. "Isn't the above usage an adverb? " You're right. it's not an adjective. My mistake. And thanks, koko, for the link. Are these words used commonly, like we drop "fuck" all the time in English? Is it part of the Thai culture to swear?
  15. What about adjectives, as in "I'm fucking tired."?
  16. I heard on the radio today that some pubs in England have banned swearing. Anyone who transgresses is kicked out, and some pubs even close down for the night! So that got me thinking; are there any swear words (as opposed to slang for sex related activities) in Thai? People are surprised when I tell them that Japanese doesn't have any equivalent for, say, "Fuck!" when you hit your thumb with a hammer. So naturally, there is no way to say 'It's fucking hot today" in Japanese. Or, "I couldn't give a fuck." Are there any Thai speakers out there who can enlighten me?
  17. And yet X-boys around the corner is, apparently, putting on fucking shows. Must be a tea-money issue.
  18. Right. So that's the end of Cuba for me.
  19. On one occasion I arrived at BBB when the B-boys were on stage. As I am tired of their act now, I decided to sit on the terrace and wait till they had finished. One of the managers said he would let me know when the act was over so that I could then take a seat inside. Meanwhile, I ordered a drink and paid the terrace price. When the manager called me inside I just took my drink with me and nothing was said. Of course, I paid the full price for my next drink. I've never had trouble with waiters in BBB pushing me to order more drinks. They always leave me alone. I think if you ask a boy to sit with you, it is expected by the management and the boys that you will buy him a drink. If you don't, you are in danger of the boy seeing you as mean with your money. That doesn't get things off to a good start. As for why the boys on stage don't strip off any more, could someone please just ask one of the guys? That would be the best way of getting to the bottom of this, so to speak.
  20. What i really meant was a "hole" new world!
  21. Not for me. If it were in any way "unpleasant ' I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be doing it. Apart, of course, from the very beginning when you are attempting to bottom. But once you learn how, a whole new world opens up.

    Soi 6 silom

I wrote 2 trip reports on those places this year. The latest one is from April.
  23. "Do you have details how much exactly the Chinese are ripped off?" No, I don't take a calculator into the bar! And yes, they have a drinks menu, probably telling them that a waiter /boy drink is 450 baht. But as I said, they are short-term tourists who most probably would not be aware that 450 baht is excessive. To them, that would just be the going price. In our case, we go from bar to bar, year after year, and so know what is excessive pricing. Ignorance us bliss, as they say.
  24. ??
  25. Thanks for that info. Although I'd never but a waiter a drink, I'd definitely consider buying one for a boy. But at that price, he'd have to be pretty special. Then again, I'd probably just give him the 450 baht,as I know he would much prefer that to a watered-down drink. I wonder if 450 baht drinks is a new phenomenon, coinciding with the increase of Chinese customers. I've seen lots of them inviting boys to sit and drink. Maybe the bar is just making the best out of the fortunate situation in which they find themselves. They are simply charging what the market is willing to bear. Before the Chinese discovered BBB, many farang would buy one drink and sit alone with it all night.
