  1. interesting, to tell some one to piss off would be more like ork-pai or awk-pai that makes a bit more sense to me. it's pai, not bai, or rather bpai, i.e. a non-aspirated "p" sound and definitely gan (short vowel กัน), not gaan (long vowel กาน)

    Arena Experiences

I read it correctly, I used "you" in a generalized sense, as in "someone". Of course the specific story referred to your hubby. In that regard, my wording maybe wasn't so clear, my bad. But what I said still stands. This is not a question of varying mileage, he robbed himself and the masseur of the opportunity for anything more. Again, why would he (or anyone) do that? ESPECIALLY in a full service shop, where the extra is essentially guaranteed? The timing may vary, yes depending on the masseur's style and customer's behavior, but that NOTHING will happen is inconceivable.

abort? why would you do that? even if there was no hint of more to come, maybe no hint YET. They all have their different styles, so just wait and see.... aborting guarantees nothing more to come. At worst, you'd get the full time's worth of a massage if there were actually no extras to cum (which I would think highly unlikely at a full service shop like Arena, to the point of being inconceivable)
  4. yeah show was ok, but I was so fixated on the rimming show which didn't come, so felt rather disappointed... Also was somewhat distracted by the presence of my own BurBoy in the audience
  5. that's correct, no double nn, but as these transliterations are ALL inadequate, I used it to approximate the pronunciation with a short "o" sound, rather than a longer one which, depending on the reader, "gon" might seem to imply. Regarding use of vowels, your additional examples of goon guun and gorn, based on English pronunciation rules all 3 are all definitely completely off for the word in question. Again, ALL transliterations are inadequate, need phonetic script to appropriately capture the pronunciation (especially the tones), but guess we all lack the corresponding keyboard to type that. as for laang tuu yen, it is better to use laang than lang for the same reason as above, long vs short "a". I know all the official transliterations don't make that distinction, rendering it impossible to distinguish between long and short vowels unless you know the word already. ก้น ล้างตู้เย็น
  6. WTF - we were there just 1 day before and nothing! That's odd isn't it....
  7. gonn, not goon ass (or more precisely the hole) is also tuut, which is a vulgar or impolite word, as opposed to gonn which can be used in civilized conversation lol not sure how you'd pronounce "koey" as an English speaker, but it's more like ku-ay all these transliterations don't get the actual pronounciation right, so especailly a fist time visitor with ZERO Thai knowledge will likely either be misunderstood or not understood at all, though the context may (or may not) give clues as to the intended meaning lol Haven't heard the laang tu yen before, thanks for that addition to my vocabulary Will try to figure out the reference by asking appropriate people hehe
  8. went to X-Boys last night with numazu to see the rimming show - alas, no rimming show at all , and no cum either. Lots of big cocks on display, but none of what was described in the quoted post above. Was it maybe some x-mas special? Or a weekend thing, which means have to try again on a weekend? Who knows.... Left very diappointed
  9. your review begs one question though: you complain that he slept for 40 minutes, which is a legitimate complaint, BUT why on earth didn't you wake him up sooner? Say after 5 minutes max? If you let him sleep that long you can complain about his falling asleep at all, but not the duration of his sleep I'd say.....
  10. well in Pattaya it seems obvious to me that it is like that. But elsewhere, clearly not. To maybe clarify my own post: there is nothing wrong with pay for play, there may be a multitude of reasons - be it that you have to because of age and/or looks, or that you just happen to like the idea of it and getting a kick out of it, or simply to avoid the hassle of searching for the free variety as spoon pointed out. All those reasons are valid, and like I said I do it too, mostly for massages in my case. What I was opposing is the notion that EVERYONE has to pay for play, and that there is play ONLY for pay. Simply not true. I agree with faranglaw on his take on ryan's post saying that "I am surprised at ryanasia's post here, as I usually find his thoughts to be very sound."
  11. Mr Thailand, cute and not nicely toned but no over-done gym body. side note: Mr Japan doesn't even look Japanese....
  12. Excuse me? Pay for play culture? Pay for sex like anybody else does? Who exactly is that "anybody else"? In the 16 years since I came to Thailand the first time I had so much sex NOT for pay, and indeed the vast majority of my sexual encounters were non-paid. It is so easy to pick up Thai guys who are into farangs at DJ Station if you're not too old and decent looking. While I choose to pay for sexual services (almost always massages with HE) sometimes, by no means is that compulsory as your post implies. In fact, many of the normal guys you can meet here are or would be offended if offering them money for sex. As always, there may be a gray area with blurry lines either side, but money boys are as much a minority of the general population as they are anywhere else. To extrapolate from the ready availability of pay for play services to the existence of such a "culture" is simply not a valid conclusion. Not sure I understood your post correctly, as you live here like I do and know a thing or two, but the post is certainly misleading to newbies like the OP in my opinion. that's a good idea, too, planetromeo is pretty widely used here, too along with the newer app-based sites hornet and jack'd (grindr has too many farangs in there for my taste lol) Excuse me? 13. Don't worry too much about the rain. Yes it may rain, and yes it will be hot, but the actual rainy season "officially" starts only in July. And besides, even in the rainy season "rain" doesn't mean you get completely rainy days as you get in, say, Europe or North America (where are you guys from?), but what happens is you get a major downpour for usually no more than 1 hour, then it goes away and all is fine again. The "major" in major downpour, though, means major to the point where you actually can't go outside at all (unless you don't mind to get as wet as when sitting in a bathtub) and no umbrella will be of any help at all. Just have to wait it out somewhere inside, which isn't too bad as the "major" part probably won't last more than 30-60 minutes. Anyway, as for boys and stuff, first of all you need to distinguish between two different gay scenes - the commercial sex scene mostly being about go-go bars in Soi Twilight and gay massage parlors, which this forum mostly revolves around, and the regular non-money gay scene where tourists and normal local guys hang out just for fun. For the farang (Thai for western foreigner) that mostly consists of two venues not far from each other: Silom Soi 4 with many gay bars, most with outdoor seating and a generally relaxed atmosphere, great for people watching. Silom Soi 2 which is actually not much of a real "soi" (soi = Thai for smaller street or alley), but more like a semi-open space between two buildings, and which is home to more late night bars and the famous DJ Station gay night club. DJ, as it is commonly referred to, is a fun place with lots of eye candy and lots of opportunities to pick up local boys who are into farang. For extensive information about all sorts of gay venues (from hotels to saunas to massages to bars&clubs) I'd recommend you check out www.travelgayasia.com
  14. they are actually about to open a new branch right next to Saladaeng BTS Station, in the side of Silom Complex. I drove past it several times recently and it looked they might open within a few weeks now. If I remember correctly it's on the corner of Silom Soi 1, which is that small soi (so small it looks more like a large driveway than a soi) which at night has some massage guys sitting in front of it
  15. couldn't agree more. Maybe unsurprisingly, I've come to the same conclusion. This of course doesn't only apply to things to buy, but any kind of activity. To make decisions on purchases or other things to do I have developed a technique based on the rationale you outlined: I will consult my future self and ask "will I regret not buying/doing this in the future if I don't do it right now?" If the answer is yes, I do it, if no I don't and if the answer is "I'm not sure", then that tends to suggest a "no"

    Holiday Time

buy a bottle of vodka or whiskey or whatever you prefer, should be much cheaper than buying a series of individual drinks. I have no clue about these Pattaya bars' pricing structure so I can't tell for sure, but in general this is how it works in Thailand. I kinda guess you know this already, but still thought I'd point it out....
  17. consider getting an external keyboard for your tablet. They attach like a cover and are pretty slick and slim these days, so don't ruin the tablet vs laptop experience. In fact, just recently saw some tablet/keyboard combinations sold as such in a computer shop and they basically blur the lines between laptops and tablets. Can use them like laptop with proper keyboard, or detach keyboard and use tablet in the go. Well, I for one, do like spreadsheets But apart from that the style may be dry, but interspersed with dry wit which I find very amusing. Recent examples from last couple of posts include these: "I asked him to bring towels though so I could keep ones in the room for the bright future later today." "So as always good boys of Good Boys did not disappoint me at all, " "forced some decent tips on each one" (this one, though, makes we wonder if I can condone your violent behavior towards the boys, using force.... )

    Suggestion

yes picture selection is a big drawback as pics of Thai (or any of the neighboring countries') guys just don't do them justice, they almost always look either quite different in the flesh than in the pics, or (usually) better, or both. Only the real thing is the real thing!
  19. Fantastic report with lots of very interesting travel info and pics, spiced up with some boy stories "among the ruins" To chip in on the sunrise/sunset side-discussion: I like sunsets, when they are beautiful and extended, they just never get tiring. Having said that, I don't usually go out of my way to specifically make a point of seeing the sunset on a given day or at a special location. Except, say to go to the beach for a sundowner drink at Railay beach with friends, where there is nothing else to do anyway haha. Lovely and relaxing. As for sunrise, I can count on 1 hand how many I have seen in my life. They are just out of the question for me as I am (normally) NOT prepared to get up that early! One notable exception was for sunrise over the Haleakala volcano in Maui, Hawaii (which turned out to be underwhelming) and the one at Borobudur, already mentioned here. Now that was something else, that is such a magical experience that it still gives me goosebumps as I type this. My own Borobudur sunrise pic below, but a picture just can't convey that magic. Another reason I prefer sunsets over sunrise is that sunsets last longer. The beautiful red glow can linger for quite some time after the sun is gone, where as when the sun is up, it's up and the show is over rather abruptly Sorry for lengthy OT, now back to vinapu's boys!
  20. yeah no problems here.... reset your wifi router, works like magic sometimes
  21. oh, and very informative report, thanks!
  22. What you are missing is that if and when it's clean, it's clean. Period. On the rimming discussion, I can see why some people don't like it, at least not the active part. But I can confirm it's a big turn on for some guys, me included. I love doing it even more than getting it. Doing it not with everyone, depends on the guy, but I can do it with many Asians as they are usually not hairy there. Hair there I don't like. Smooth - yum! it is chuck - ชัก koon lao? you mean koon (or khun) lor = you handsome koon/khun lor maak (not mah) = you very handsome bai gan? probably pai gan = go together, that's what you mean? mai ow or ao = I don't want it as it is with a tonal language, these attempts at transliteration don't do it justice, the wow in chuck-wow is pronounced it a certain way that is impossible to reflect with a latin alphabet, same for other words in the above As for Brummbaer's funny banana, you probably kinda swallowed the "L" in banana and maybe started with a K istead of a G: banana = gluai cock = kuai (vulgar word) The tone of both words is also different, with the one of gluai a bit difficult to produce for the westerner, whereas kuai is just flat tone. Anyway, enough of the useless Thai lessons lol
  23. 1. No I'm not, but that may be age-related (50+). Not the food, more likely the heat, both from the weather and emanating from all the hot (and passionate, as you point out) boys! 2. I can see why you don't like Soi Twilight, it's clearly not everyone's cup of tea. As for the touts (be it in that Soi or anywhere else, for any kind of product), as was said before, ignore them and just shake them of with a smiling (always important to smile) but firm NO. Get rid of your English instincts. 3. Number 3 doesn't really have a question, but you say "I have boys coming out of my ears." Yes, I know how that goes.... you open it and get tons of messages. Hence, no need for Soi Twilight (unless you happen to simply like that scene, which many do) or other paid sex. 4. Yes, they are just lovely and amazing in bed Lucky you to move here at late-20s, I only managed at 50 hehe. Let's go for a drink if you want...
  24. In my above post I forgot to advise against buying in the street, though that should be pretty obvious anyway. Having said that, I find it highly unlikely that there will be counterfeit Kamagra on the market here, at least in pharmacies. That stuff comes from India and is already so cheap, not much of a point or profit margin faking it. The same goes for the Thai (government) brand Sidegra. Original Viagra is a different story, and the price of that is certainly not 75 baht / USD 2 as kokopelli says,he may mean the knock-offs such as Kamagra and Sidegra. Original-original Viagra is THB 1000+ for a 4-pack, I asked once in a pharmacy. Never bought or tried any of that though, as there is no need given Kamagra and Sidegra, which are working just fine with no adverse side effects (which may vary wildly for each person of course)

    My Thai Guy

yes very much so. A (non-money) guy I met in DJ Station some 15 years a ago and had kept in touch with throughout the years and often met again when traveling to BKK. Alas, he then moved abroad for work at some point, so meetings became less frequent and dependent on our luck being in BKK on a visit at the same time. Haven't seen him since I moved here Most memorable experience with him: once spent a full 24 hours in bed with him (only interrupted by a short trip outside to eat), all this time just cuddling, sleeping, sometimes fucking. No talk necessary, just that endless feeling of closeness. Ah, memories indeed! As for your guy, yeah you are right it is kind of pointless to post him here as it will be impossible to recognize him now from a 20 year old (and somewhat blurry) picture lol
