Now I am in Pattaya and have experienced the follow: Boy-Boy-Boy 1. Off fee = 500 2. Tip for boy = 2000-3000 A Bomb, Toy Boy, and Xboys: 1. Off fee = 400 2. Tip for boy = 1500 This is low season. Those of you who are CURRENTLY in Pattaya, are you experiencing the same price rates? I was in Pattaya last year so I am not interested in previous rates, just the CURRENT ONES.

Welcome back. I am curiuos about your definition of "twink". For the last 2 nights we were there and almost ALL of the guys on stage were young, thin framed and quite effeminate. Masculine guys, by Western standards, were not to be found on stage. Yesterday I offed a guy from there, and like you, I had a fantastic time. I hope this trip for you will be as wonderful as all the others!

Man hunting in Bangkok - report of trip of June 2016

You wrote that: "Other than breakfast included I did not see much difference between Ambiance and Le Café Royale". Which hotel included breakfast in their daily room rate and what site did you book the hotel through? Some think that the Ambiance is a bit jaded. How did you find the hotel? Thanks. -
I do not know where to post this heart breaking news. I just heard on the news that there was a terrorist attack at a Gay bar in the USA, Orlando, Florida. It appears that over 30 people were killed and 50+ injured. The attacker, killed by the police, was a Muslim terrorist. Indeed this is tragic and should remind us that we all should be very vigilant of our surrounding no matter where we are. Let's include the victims and their families in our prayers.

Thanks guys! I was not aware of any of those places and will definitely check them out. Keep the suggestions coming.

During my upcoming trip to Chiang Mai I would like to stay in the area close to the Adams A. club. I AM NOT INTERESTED in staying in another area. The Lotus Hotel is perfectly located across from the Adams A. club, but the hotel does not have good reviews on various gay/non-gay travel sites. Therefore I would prefer to stay at another hotel. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on other hotels in the area near the Adams A. club? Again, I am interested in hotels ONLY in the area near the Adams A. club. I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to stay in a hotel located very far, 3 kilometers or more, from the club.

THANKS A LOT for the photos. Nice of you to share like that!

Does anyone know if the new club will keep the fantastic water shows?

While here in Buenos Aires, a buddy mentioned to me about the closing of the Copa in Pattaya. Immediately I returned to this site to read about it and was devastated! During my weeks of stay in Pattaya I attended the Copa's water shows at least 5 nights a week. The water show is very-very unique as far as entertainment goes in bars - world wide. Several bars in that area alone have cabaret shows, but no place has a water show, and a beautiful show at that. Even the water show in Bangkok is very pale and unprofessionally presented in comparison to the water show at the Copa. In its transition from one format to the other, I hope the water show will be held over!!!!

After the fun filled months in Thailand, the time has come to say farewell. The next stop will be in Columbia, followed by a stay in Argentina and Brazil, and then home just in time for the spring thaw. Thanks to all of you for your very valuable information which definitely enhanced my trip. No matter how many times one visit a place, it is always nice to get different perspectives and up to date information. Thank goodness for this and other sites, and those of you who take the time to post your comments!!! Keep up the good work.

Generally they place a box on the stage with the word "Tip" written on it. But I have never seen anyone put a tip in the box. After the show I watch for the guys to exit out of the side door under the DC booth and then I tip them. Jason, your idea for them to come on the stage after the show is an excellent idea! I agree with you in that people probably would be more inclined to give a tip then. I will pass your suggestion on.

The water show at the Copa in Pattaya is absolutely stunning. I have been there at least 3 to 4 times a week. The show is something different and very beautiful. I hope you will enjoy it and don't forget to tip the swimmers!!!-(smile)

You are so amusing forky123. I am still laughing. Thanks. Keep up the good works!!!!

Enthusiast, I have read my post several times and no where did I mention that I hate Thailand. How you got all of that from sharing a photo is beyond me. But as I have written before about comments posted on this board, one starts out with a particular topic and the comments will be about any and everything non-related to the original post. I must admit though, all of this makes for amusing reading.

Yes indeed: An opportunity to get as much money out of you as possible while you are there and by doing as little as possible to get it. WELCOME!

This huge billboard is just outside the international airport: the plain truth about visiting Thailand.

Just for the record, the post is about the way the Thai guy was obviously rude and disrespectful to his older companion and NOT ABOUT RUSSIAN/THAI relationships. But then again, that is typical of many posts on this site. How often have we seen a simple post turn into a monumental expose of any and everything under the sun? O.k. the door is wide open, let the irrelevant comments begin!!!!

The other night while enjoying drinks at Serene, several Russians came in and squeezed into the already crowded bar. Two of the Russian guys were quite handsome. The Russians smiled and said something to me. I smiled back with no idea what was said. Apparently they thought I was Russian; this happens a lot especially on the buses going to Jomtien, but no Russian blood here. O.k. I digress. Sitting at the table immediately to my right was a much older man and his young Thai companion. The young Thai boy was really carried away by two of the cute Russians because he was constantly starring at them. The older man said something to the Thai boy and he replied: "I like, beautiful". A few minutes later the older man said something else to his young Thai companion, who was still starring and smiling at the two Russians. The Thai boy said aloud: "very beautiful, you not so beautiful but have beautiful heart, I like you". Oh my gosh, did he really say that????? Almost immediately the older man paid the bill and got up to leave with the young Thai boy in tow. As they left, the Thai boy laid his right hand on the shoulder of one of the Russians and kept looking back and smiling at him. The Russian did not respond one way or another. As he walked off, the Thai boy continued looking back and smiling at the Russians who never responded. That kid had some balls on him. Oops, I need another expression because the Thai boy was quite effeminate - lol. Life in Thailand can be quite interesting, to say the least.

Wednesday I came down with a bad cold. For the last two days I have stayed in the hotel room, trying to sweat it out. A couple of people asked if I have a fever, I do, and they suggested seeing a doctor. Today I feel a little better. But just in case I need one, any suggestions on doctors.

Thanks Kokopelli, how very refreshing it is to get a direct answer to a simple question.

N Boys is the correct name? Thanks. Now back to my original question, is the bar full of "men" dancers and not thin young effeminate boys, as the mamasan claims (also not my type)? Of course I went to another bar, there are numerous other gay venues in Pattaya, please! Additionally, my original post was not inquiring as to why they have that policy nor anything else except what type of dancers are inside. Just for the record, no way in hell they would think I am an Arab or Indian. Again, I as just curious as to the type of guys that dance there. If, according to the mamasan, there are no young lady boy types working there, only men, then that would probably be the only bar in Sunee Plaza of that nature and a place I would frequent regularly. So, for those readers who have actually been there, what did you see, only men type dancers? Thanks.
-
Yesterday while walking around Sunee Plaza I discovered N Club. As I approached the door to enter the club, the mamasan immediately stopped me and said the entry fee is 200THB and I had to pay BEFORE I go in. I said I want to see what type of boys worked there first, before I pay, because I do not like to see thin, young effeminate boys prancing around on stage. To make sure he understood what I was looking for, I said I want to see men. I do not like young lady boys. The mamasan reply was that they have only men, pay first. I said, that if there were no men working, I wanted my money back, o.k. His response was, pay first, pay first, no go in, only have men, pay first. No way José. I am not that stupid. Does anyone honestly believe that my money would be refunded? (rhetorical question). I did not go in. So, any reports or comments on recent visits to N Club? Is the bar really full of "only men" and no thin young effeminate boys? Thanks.

So, I bit the bullet and went to Dreamboys tonight

Having traveled to both countries, Brazil and Thailand, the two countries sex scene is as different as the countries themselves. Brazilians are naturally larger in size, in more ways than one, with totally different looks and appeal than Thais. In the eyes of westerners, Brazilians are far more masculine than Thai men we encounter in the 3 larger Thai cities. A Thai male who wears white facial make-up (or powder), rosy red lip gloss, arched eye brows, and every hair strand firmly sprayed in place is definitely not looked upon as masculine in the western world; although in Thailand they say they are men. Ask any Westerner and they will say that Asian men are naturally more effeminate than other men; despite not even knowing any Asian men! The sex scene in Brazil is vastly different than that of Thailand or any other country, and the same can be said for Thailand. Even in neighboring countries to Thailand, you will not find the sex market any way similar to that in Thailand. With all that being said, again apples and oranges are being compared to each other. Also, least we forget, beauty (and all things in life) is in the eye of the beholder. If you like apples, go for it, if you like oranges, go for it! No matter what you like or prefer to do, THOROUGHLY ENJOY DOING IT and be thankful that you can. Once I gave a rose to an analytical friend and said: "I gave this flower to you to enjoy and to appreciate its beauty, not to dissect and analyze it." ENJOY LIFE AND HAVE FUN!!!!! -
I laughed at what you wrote about tipping. Like you, I also tip too much. Each time I say I will cut back but •••••••. As you wrote, tip one person and there is a line of others all waiting and wanting a tip, and for what? They did nothing for me. Sometimes people that I never saw suddenly appear waiting and requesting (if not demanding) a tip. Have you noticed that as soon as you pull out your wallet suddenly and magically people pop up all around you? Damn! Any magician would be envious of such an act - lol. Now, if only they and the mamasans would DISAPPEAR equally as fast: that will never happen. Still having a great time and that's what matters most.

Alkoe, the photo of the swimming pool is beautiful. What is the name of the hotel and location? Hanan, thanks for the post about Bas. I certainly will not off him. I have never had a long time off, only short time. I hate it when the guys almost knock the door down immediately after the sex, in their rush to leave. Like you, I have heard a number of wild reasons for their immediate departure. It is to the point that now instead of having them take off their shoes when they enter the room, I just give them a pair of roller skates to hasten their departure - lol. I can not over emphasize how VALUABLE this site has been in enhancing my visit. Keep up the good work guys!
