I'm in BKK and was just in Pattaya last week. I stayed at Classroom, easy coming and going without "your guy" doing the walk of shame in Jomtien or Boystown hotels. not sure what your type is, but Dreamboys had a bunch I liked out of anywhere..... Bolt taxi and moto are cheap enough to move between the places easy enough, I went to Jomtien to drink but never saw anyone I was interested in.

Many consider gifts, clothes, dinner....paid sex. Remember, I'm referring to the Puritanical USA.

I went a couple of times, my friend and I laughed our asses off when this guy comes walking onto the stage. First time, I thought it was a comedy skit, something you'd see on old time TV. Like he woke up lost , wondered on stage and didn't know where he was or why he was there....I laugh just typing about this 😝

That brings back memories, was my 1st time in BKK. Stayed out on Sukhumvit at a hotel that was recommended by Utopia.....had a hell of a time finding Babylon. How spoiled we are with GPS and Google maps and translate now. Luckily , a local at Babylon took me for a tour of all the gay bars in the Silom/Suriwong area, otherwise I probably would've stayed in the Sukhumvit area and host bars there.

Worse traffic than BKK.....mostly undiscovered gay life than most other Latin American countries....I could easily live in Lima for 6 months. Great sauna downtown ...240 Dangerous Disco....Sagitario Disco in safer area....Vale todo Downtown a few other small places that come and go Lots of hot smooth Peruvians and Venezuelans on Grindr....many for free or almost free. Beware, Peru is the counterfeit capital of USD 😳 My recommendations are pre-Covid.....not sure what has survived.

It's all in the eyes with Arabs and Indians.....in my opinion. If they sparkle when they look/talk with you.....doesn't mean they love you, means they are willing, lol

How about the disco in that area...Bank Studio? Was my favorite.......

A friend of mine staying at the Peninsula came to stay at Tarntawan to use as a hook-up room while he's in this side of town. He booked a standard room on the back side of the hotel and said it's really run down.... Even though he's paying more, I booked months ago, my room is much nicer....... So back side rooms are what it sounds like many talked about.....if you're considering this hotel, the few bucks more is well worth it apparently.

I arrived BKK today from Pattaya, staying at the Tarntawan and went near Super A to do laundry. While I was waiting outside the laundry place, the Mamasan (owner??) screamed when you saw me , I have that affect on people, she offered me a water and said she's only been open 2 weeks now. I finished late with my friend from NYC and didn't realize everything was closing at 1am....so I walked to Super A, they were closed also....but guess who was open....Golden Cock/Nature boys. Just a fraction of it's former self, but they stay open until whenever.....with locals and other working boys stopping by, I'm told. There was a guy I went with before COVID, had a couple of drinks and he came back to my hotel.....I like the sleeze bars more than Dreamboys ....and places like that. The guys are more appreciative and really work for their money 😉

I'm in BKK with a flight to DPS in a week .....I'm not good at trip reports, but will post anything that stands out.....

Been a lot of comments here how it's a run down hotel, better deals for better hotels, etc.... I think it's as nice as it has ever been.....the bed is very good, I booked a front of the bldg room. Breakfast isn't a buffet I'm told, there are 3 options, Thai, western, Japanese until 10:30 am. I ordered lunch....very delicious.....My friend is staying at the Peninsula, the pics look amazing...but for $25 usd a night, breakfast for 2 and the location near the bars...I'll take Tarntawan any day. Back rooms without food was $17 when I booked..... Also the internet is SUPER fast, 5G connection

Not yet....he was sitting in @home bar the other night. I asked what the plans were, don't remember the reply, It was late and I was drinking 🙄
