  1. Hence the reason I'd never ask.....😳
  2. I just got back from Manila.... nothing new to report except all money boys, fake pics, lots of scammers (according to my Pinoy friends) but still some diamonds in the rough.
  3. Good to know 👍
  4. I was more aghast that you let him stay on your balcony 😝
  5. You a scroogy now? There's still airlines that you get status by miles flown and not by spend amount , lol
  6. Not if the "cave" is actually tight.... so they say.
  7. Sounds like something @Olddaddy would write.
  8. Let us know if they ask/insist on your Yellow Fever vaccine cert.
  9. Is that why @Olddaddy was on your balcony sleeping and not inside?
  10. I've been fortunate with award seats, but I'm extremely flexible and bese some of my trips on the airlines availability. Going back at the end of this trip, I bought flying FROM Jakarta roundtrip to Boston coming back in March, ANA/United business class was 2900usd. Coming to this side this time I got Cancun-EWR-Delhi on United Polaris, 88k miles.... originally was on Ethiopia connection form EWR, they did a sched change and I got someone at United to to put me on their nonstop instead at the same miles....he did. However, the 1st girl that answered the phone, I could tell was a bitch with attitude, so I hung up and luckily got the nice guy, I knew as soon as he answered the phone he was a queen and would do it 😝
  11. have you looked at award seats? When airlines do promotions of double miles when purchasing, check out award availability.... might be cheaper, or a credit card that transfers points to an airline?
  12. I'd guess it depends on the hotel, it's no strict like in Colombia or say Vietnam, but I stayed in large western chain hotels and the guys didn't look poor or sketchy 🤷‍♂️ I don't know, I don't like lassi 😝
  13. I’m all for generosity, but paying double when the guy doesn’t even deliver what was agreed isn’t generosity — it’s rewarding bad behavior. And then people wonder why the next one acts the same. Keep tipping double for half the effort — just don’t act surprised when “lazy and disinterested” becomes the new default 🤷‍♂️
  14. He's concerned what his future holds when the bar he opens....closes 😳
  15. There's a difference between frugal and cheap.... No gold faucets in the bathroom then?
  16. @Keithambrose is there something about your trips to Cambodia you've been hiding from me 🧐
  17. Hotel= Delhi More choices in apps= Mumbai Delhi is also close to Agra, went to the Taj Mahal, was worth it.....
  18. I knew this topic would get your attention, lol How many millions of actual miles have you flown with them again...??
  19. A/A doesn't care..... really, they just don't care. United is the best of the worse for US carriers....not that they're perfect, but when then mess up, they generally do the right thing to make up for it, sometimes with a little arm twisting, but they do.
  20. Size=Size Time= Time So not enough time to bust a nutt 😉
  21. Indonesia, frequently A friend that travels to all types of villages, and countries like Brunei, Bhutan, Bangladesh.... says the more stricter the religion, the hornier the guys are.
  22. Already made plans with him (in my head)
  23. Was my first instinct too😝
  24. 🌇 Mumbai (Bombay), India – Trip Report Two nights in Mumbai, staying at the Hilton near the airport. No big upgrade this time — just the Executive Floor, which Diamond status already includes — but credit where it’s due: they drove Piyush to the airport for free and gave me a 7 PM checkout without charge. Small gestures go a long way. As for the city… Mumbai is massive, messy, and not exactly pretty. On our first night we went to Juhu Beach, which is the best time for me at a beach — Even at night it was packed as it was a Sunday during the holiday time of Dawali, with rubbish scattered all the way to the water line. But hey, I did get my first look at the Arabian Sea, so it wasn’t a total loss. The apps here were on fire — nonstop messages — but also full of fake pics, time-wasters, and profiles that weren't my type. Still, there were bright spots. One cute guy with plenty of Twitter videos quoted me $100 USD at first, then offered to come for free; he stayed about four hours, refused payment, but I gave him $30 anyway. Another 29-year-old Marriott guest, smooth and young-looking (easily could’ve passed for 19), invited me over. Let’s just say his 🍆 size was “Ibis” sized, but we had fun — even if he finished in under 2 minutes, which seems to be common in India, a German friend of mine commented the same thing. Lots of other pending chats worth exploring next visit, but for now I’m heading to Manila tonight via Singapore Airlines Business Class, A380 BOM–SIN with a tight connection in Singapore.
