🌇 Mumbai (Bombay), India – Trip Report Two nights in Mumbai, staying at the Hilton near the airport. No big upgrade this time — just the Executive Floor, which Diamond status already includes — but credit where it’s due: they drove Piyush to the airport for free and gave me a 7 PM checkout without charge. Small gestures go a long way. As for the city… Mumbai is massive, messy, and not exactly pretty. On our first night we went to Juhu Beach, which is the best time for me at a beach — Even at night it was packed as it was a Sunday during the holiday time of Dawali, with rubbish scattered all the way to the water line. But hey, I did get my first look at the Arabian Sea, so it wasn’t a total loss. The apps here were on fire — nonstop messages — but also full of fake pics, time-wasters, and profiles that weren't my type. Still, there were bright spots. One cute guy with plenty of Twitter videos quoted me $100 USD at first, then offered to come for free; he stayed about four hours, refused payment, but I gave him $30 anyway. Another 29-year-old Marriott guest, smooth and young-looking (easily could’ve passed for 19), invited me over. Let’s just say his 🍆 size was “Ibis” sized, but we had fun — even if he finished in under 2 minutes, which seems to be common in India, a German friend of mine commented the same thing. Lots of other pending chats worth exploring next visit, but for now I’m heading to Manila tonight via Singapore Airlines Business Class, A380 BOM–SIN with a tight connection in Singapore.

How do you feel about deaf ride-share drivers?
floridarob replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
I figured he was Dominican from his looks, so that question wasn't necessary 🤷♂️ -
I wish people would stop doing this.....it only make them think it's ok to do a mediocre job at best and still get rewarded, in this case doubly rewarded.....where's the incentive for anyone to be good at what they do? You said it out loud too, imagine how many guys do that and say nothing out of embarrassment of basically being scammed and paying, after knowingly being scammed.

Quickie in the City of Smiles: My Short Bangkok Break
floridarob replied to CallMeLee's topic in Gay Thailand
I forget the names of the 2 places in Saphan Kwai I went to with Reader, but didn't care for either one... Arena it's been ages, maybe I'll give them a try on this trip. It's time for the US to change the clocks next week so maybe the Vinapu calendar jumps ahead too and you might be in BKK before too long? -
Are you trying to take over @Olddaddy position here?

100% Can't beat the in person experience to hear/watch/smell how they look/act/smell/walk.... a pic or video doesn't do the same justice.

In the air.... then there's the to/from airports on both ends among other stuff....🤷♂️

Which of the 2 do you prefer and don't say both or give an old expression about types of pots in the kitchen 😝 -
What has been referred here as Bangu sauna is Casa Grande, Tapa na Cara is a different place, not that close to each other.

How do you feel about deaf ride-share drivers?
floridarob replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
I had a driver that had listed he was deaf, come to find out he didn't speak English and it was his front to avoid having to talk to passengers..... you know the scenes on TV or a movie, where a lawyer drops a book or something heavy in the courtroom and the person with whiplash turns their head to look, I said to him at one point in the ride, "de donde eres" and he replied soy Dominicano, then he realized I tricked him and he came clean that he doesn't speak English and this helps him avoid doing so 😳 -
Just finished a 3-day stay in Pune, based at the Conrad Hotel, where I was upgraded to a spacious suite — easily one of the best hotels in town. Great service, Excellent Executive Lounge and pool, a comfortable base to unwind. There’s definite potential on the apps here, though, as usual in India, you have to navigate a sea of fake photos and profiles before you find genuine guys. Still, patience paid off — I met a couple of nice locals, and Piyush, who’s been traveling with me for the last nine nights, kept things lively. We enjoyed the hotel, the city views, and a few relaxed nights in. I also visited the Hard Rock Café Pune, which was my 97th Hard Rock worldwide — and unfortunately, the first one that actually tried to scam me. After paying my bill, they produced another one claiming the first charge was only for the souvenir glasses and not for the food and drinks. They even said the prices on the menu were outdated! Needless to say, I didn’t pay twice and have already emailed my corporate contacts about it. Waiting to see what they say. Despite that hiccup, Pune itself surprised me — friendly, and easy to get around. I’d return someday just for the hotel experience. One of the hotel staff was on Grindr, but he's not allowed in the rooms so we would've had to go to a motel or something nearby, too much work for me, lol Took an Uber Intercity car a 3.5 hr ride to Mumbai, where I am now in a premium larger vehicle, $40usd.

Vamos a ver, is a phrase I use a lot (Let's see). Take it one day at a time without committing to anything.... see who fucks it up first 🤷♂️

One of the benefits of Blued (Heesay) there is a translate feature in the chats and cheap subscription rates if you decline the first offer, the price drops to like $8 usd or less for a month.

🕌 Delhi, India – The Maharaja Diaries (Gay Edition) Getting here was its own adventure: four hours by bus to Cancún, four hours killing time in the VIP lounge, then a sweet-spot reward redemption — 88,000 miles for a United Business Class seat that usually runs 250–500K. Total bargain. I had an eight-hour Newark layover, so naturally I did what any reasonable gay traveler does: ran errands. Grabbed Amazon orders at an airport hotel that I had a fake cancellable reservation for , hit the mall for a swimsuit (for the 19-year-old Kolkata cutie joining me in India), and lunch and dinner at the Polaris Lounge — both featuring hamburgers so horrible Even the manager couldn’t save them either time, SAD. Then came the 14.5-hour flight to Delhi — 100% full, one-hour delay, but blissfully in business class. Worth every mile. My friend Piyush (the Kolkata guy) landed earlier, met me at Terminal 3, and we taxied to the Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre, about an hour from the airport. Gorgeous hotel — scored an upgrade to a wraparound-balcony suite, thanks to my Diamond status and ex-GM contacts. The staff worked long hours — it felt like being on a cruise ship. Same faces at breakfast and again at the Executive Lounge at night. By day three, we felt like family, even with a group goodbye photo. On the gay front: a few staff faces popped up on Grindr (👀 awkward breakfast moments followed), but we had fun joking about who they thought was the top and bottom Met another gay guest who was basically the Indian version of Namazu — hot-and-cold running men to his door all day. Grindr itself was… an experience. Getting real photos from Indian guys is like pulling teeth and WAYYY to many hairy guys, fatties and beards, I have a friend into that NOT me. Some were 20 miles away and still willing to come over. And if you’re a size queen, let’s just say… this isn’t your pilgrimage. 😏 Only one guy asked for money after — $5 USD. Honestly? I gave it. He earned it. After three days I moved downtown to the Hilton Garden Inn — simpler, smaller, but solid location and staff. Then it was time to play tourist (yes, even I can do daylight). Took the train to Agra for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort — totally worth it, took the train, half the time vs driving, I was impressed by the service and the meal served. Pro tip: hired a local driver for about $15/day and a guide for $10 — he got Piyush straight into the foreigners’ line (zero wait) and hooked us up with a pro photographer who literally cleared crowds for our shots. Locals kept asking for selfies with me — apparently, a pale guy in Agra is a big deal. According to Piyush, those families will hang that pic in their house like it’s a shrine.... now I know how celebrities feel, except with different bank accounts. We also did the Lotus Temple and Sarojini Market in Delhi. I ignored most Grindr invites those days — spiritual enlightenment over sexual entertainment, for once. Though to be fair, some guys quoted $100–200 USD to which Piyush told me to ask them if they are a Bollywood star, lol. Most, however, hovered around $15–30, travel included. Next stop: Pune and the Conrad, where a jaw-dropping upgrade is already waiting. — the Indian adventure continues. 🇮🇳✨

In my experience, the face thing is because they've had silicone nose jobs and cheap stuff like that done and touching it can throw it out of whack.....Thai's have a thing about not touching the head since the head is considered the most sacred part of the body..... or maybe he has implants 😝
