Foreigners holding an e-Visa may not stay more than 180 days per year in Brazil. They've always used a rolling 12 months to determine how many days you've been allowed to stay, not a calendar year. Only 1 time I had an officer stop to count my stamps in/out and how many days I had been, but that was 20 yrs ago. Are their systems more updated now and can tell quickly how many you've been 🤷‍♂️ Apparently, there's some friction between te US (doesn't affect you)and some Brazilian diplomats that is supposedly going to make them tougher on us....you know the reciprocity thing, it's been on the news here a lot lately.

It's true, in Brazil they've had these kiosks for a few years and refuse to take orders at the counter even though they have many workers just standing around, so I don't think it's an issue if they have the employees or not..... Then they'll blame their decline on uncertainty, whereas it might be a little of something lese too.... most Cruise lines have switched to emailing surveys..... it's one of the industries that do seem to actively use survey's to track trends or problems or areas of potential revenue loss and port selection. They're important to cruise workers promotions..... if they get mentioned by name good/bad, it'll affect their future. I'd expect rather than a only QR code at reception (Purser's desk, I'm old fashioned too)...it would've been sent to the room on the last afternoon of the cruise 🤷‍♂️

So you didn't go... ? Copa number in the US is generally pretty easy to find online....I'm a huge fam of Copa in the sky, their call center, website and policies have a lot to be desired. If you don't need to interact with them, it's great.

After being able to select who you want at the GP saunas.... really hard to go back to gay for gay places, usually who I'm interested in isn't interested in me and vice versa. I've taken GP's to upgrade club so I'm guaranteed someone to be with that I like ... there's a guy that sits next to the urinal that's into golden showers and asks me, who I brought tonight... one time I had 2 guys and he wanted us all to go in to pee on him, to each his own 🤷‍♂️

I used to go to the bars/clubs after the saunas..... then I realized, any problems that I had in Brasil, all happened after midnight. If I meet someone I like in the sauna, I bring them back to the hotel/airbnb and continue the party there, a few times 2 guys that are known. Since I've followed the most important rule, don't feed them after midnight..... nothing good ever happens after midnight, ask any cop or ER worker, since I've followed that rule, zero problems here.
