  1. I've been going to Cuba for over 15 yrs..... was MUCH better before as a tourist. Now that Raul is running things, he is doing it more on a Chinese communist level. People are allowed to own and run over 100 approved types of business. The gay scene is very open now IMO. Always was really because being gay is not illegal in Cuba.... I don't enjoy it as much now though and have really cut my visits down. The guys have become VERY materialistic.... tattoos, designer clothes, iPhones, etc I liked it when they were happy to stay the day, week or month with you just for the fun of it with a little gift and some money...and the sex was ALWAYS hot. Now it has become more like a transaction and they seem to want to work by the hour (most, not all). 50-60 cuc is on the high end I think and if someone is looking for that, they rarely perform.... might be very handsome but usually all show and no go. I like the guys that come from Oriente (the east side of the island, the country boys) and are QUITE happy with 20 cuc and usually are better in bed. Again, these are my views and experiences having been there about 40+ times and usually for a month at a time (extending tourist visa is just too much a pain)
  2. @Vinapu.... I agree totally the old expression, which costs more, sex for free or sex for money.... sex for free ALWAYS costs more in the end, lol
  3. Waiting to hear about PP, going there for my 1st time in Dec and trying to decide where to stay that is good and inexpensive.... sounds like quite a trip you had.... I got tired just thinking about all the airport checkins, lol
  4. I know this is the Thailand forum but the Asia forum seems empty so thought I'd ask here. Going to be in these 2 places for a week each, seems like the money boys I see advertised for China seem to be high priced for what I'd expect. And other than money boys, any suggestions where to go bars/clubs/saunas in either of these places? Thanks!
  5. Generally when inflation costs are calculated it's done by "big ticket items" or major purchases, not everyday living expenses.... I just learned this recently when I was questioning the same thing here in America....doesn't seem to make sense to me though, unless this is how the politicians want it?
  6. it's a good list....... but he's still missing many
  7. we need to show pics like the 1st guy to the Brasil crowd that say they have no interest in Thailand, lol
  8. Western countries usually do it well compared to what I have seen in the Philippines. However, I prefer uncut.... I have a Mexican friend and when they were having their kid circumcised I asked him why since he was uncut....his wife wanted it done and she said uncut was gross, I told him if she doesn't like you cock so much, I'll take care of it,lol
  9. just tell them you are part of the Royal Family, no extra luggage fees and no departure tax!
  10. I am sure I can finish it....didn't you see how much I ate at Aldo's? Speaking of cruises, I am going on a 12 day next month with Francisco for $600 per person, plus because of my benefits I get $100 onboard credit, $50 Onboard credit, $85 credit from travel agent, $100 military credit, free dry cleaning and laundry, free internet, will be invited to a special Captain's luncheon (the top 20 most traveled passengers with them get invited), I know people on that ship that will get me upgraded if there is something available.... spending 1 night in Cairo and getting the Intercontinental at the employee rate of $59.....here is the itinerary: 1 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 6:00 PM 2 At Sea 3 At Sea 4 Alexandria, Egypt 7:00 AM 5 Alexandria, Egypt 8:00 PM 6 At Sea 7 Khios, Greece 7:00 AM 4:00 PM 8 Istanbul, Turkey 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 9 Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey 12:00 PM 7:00 PM 10 Athens (Piraeus), Greece 6:00 AM 5:45 PM 11 At Sea 12 Naples, Italy (for Capri & Pompeii) 7:00 AM 6:00 PM 13 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 4:00 AM you would love cruising Mike but I know...internet,internet,internet,lol
  11. I watched a special on PBS and they were showing how the Jewish Military was pushing the people of Palestine to places they didn't want to go and among the Palestinians was a Jewish guy that spoke up and said to leave them alone. The Jewish soldiers said "we're just following orders" and the rebellious Jew said that's what the German soldiers said also, right? I was very taken by that, someone has to speak up for what's right, mo?
  12. I think I could finish it
  13. I've finally tried Dukes, it was delivered by ChefsXP.com, they deliver for many different places, really good service. I thought Dukes was awesome, the pizza is tasty (just wish I could get a big NY style version) the onion rings are good... I think the burger here was much better and tastier than Bangkok Burger...and it was delivered so I think I might like it more in person when it's fresh.
  14. Here is the quote I live by: Time is like a river, you cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again.. Enjoy every moment of life However, I am much more frugal than Mike is, always have been I've noticed that being frugal, guys that are out for the money realize this real quick and don't bother coming around anymore, I prefer that... and the ones that do stick around are the keepers anyways. I have an AMAZING kid in Brasil that really loves me...quite a few back in the USA, 1 in Cambodia and 1 in Cuba and here I am messing around in Thailand, why do we do things like that?
  15. yeah, It's about 4:45 now....just waking up, deciding what to do
  16. for someone that said he hasn't gone out much this trip....you seem to go out a lot,lol
  17. Dream Boys and Boys Bangkok won't negotiate prices, but all the others on Soi Twilight I have said I'll pay 100 baht for beer and 200 for rum, they say ok... and I go to the bar to make sure they pour 200 baht worth of rum,lol Mike, let's go out 1 night before you leave.....I went to Telephone Bar the other night with someone and for the 1st time went up to their karaoke room, had a great time....you like karaoke Mike, right?
  18. I just realized another one.... non-drinker, I like to drink and have found non-drinkers usually don't tolerate drinkers very well and vice versa
  19. I have been looking for good Pizza in BKK and thought maybe I found it last night and called Ronny's Pizza for delivery but the sauce was horrible (pizza was big like NYC 439baht) Anyone have recommendations?
  20. being too smart, if you know me, you understand, lol
  21. you might like reading this article and seeing some of the subliminal messages in logos: http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/life/can-you-spot-the-hidden-images-in-these-famous-logos-2528093/
  22. I'll bet he says BKK....I know that's my answer,lol
  23. yes....ME! I gotta tell you about some good cruise deals coming up, you may want to take a BF or 2 along with you,lol
  24. I made another trip today to Fan Club and finally got to see the guy that was on their website that drew me there to begin with! I guess one of the things I like is the location, since it's close to Silom & Convent, I don't have to go far... Over the years I can't remember going back to the same place but maybe twice because things that are good one time suck the next, but as everyone knows, This Is Thailand So, I'm 4 for 4 here, maybe a 1st in Thailand for me, lol
  25. I did have a good talk with the owner here as well as the partner that runs Dream Boys and Boys Bangkok (as well as G.O.D.). Westerners are not the demographic they are trying to capture, it's the Asian Market. Said they come here with fistfuls of cash wanting to spend it. Americans only account for 2% he said and with the economy and the cost of flightss, so few of us come here, we're not worth the time or attention and we are more price conscious, lol I'm reading some posts on another message board mostly Singaporeans and they travel here like most people take a bus somewhere.
