I used to do that, then TomCal told (and showed me) just to go outside, skip the prepaid rates and tell the driver to use the taxi meter...is cheaper almost always than the flat rate. Uber is cheaper in many places in the world, I don't find that so true in Rio (SP , yes). I don't think trying to save 20 reis is worth the hassle, just go with the 100...this is coming from a frugal guy, lol I like SP alot, but I don't usually get going until about 5pm, like a vampire....I usually have more fun in SP than Rio btw. It's going to suck not being able to bring someone back to your hotel, especially if you find someone hot and fun (99% chance of that happening). Cancel if you can ...AirBnb is hit/miss in Brasil...can have AMAZING places, or places that are meh. Book a place you can have someone from Grindr or the sauna over, just watch your valuables. DO CHECK THE BILL...I almost always find "mistakes" at 117 and Lagoa.....and make sure if you give your key at the sauna to someone that they don't go ordering drinks and food on your account...some guys are brazen, lol

if you call their reservation center, the stopover in Panama should be free.....so it's not priced point to point. Is charged as though you are just connecting in PTY. But you will have to pay the phone res fee....they're a great airline and great flight crews (lots of young cuties) imo, I have plat status with them and 100% of the times am upgraded. But dealing with people on the phone or at the counters is a pain in the ass.

Jamaica would NEVER make my list for anything...except to avoid it,lol Black, in the Americas outside of Brasil....Dominican Republic or Cuba.....Eastern Cuba is full of myth, everyone goes to Havana looking for work, plus too much of a hassle to get to the other side of the island. Houston has lots of hot black guys....but I'd stick with anywhere outside of USA....economy is good, craigslist/backpage are dead....not many hustlers, even on Adam4adam. Believe it or not, I know many of the sauna guys go to the girl saunas and pay for sex. The old owner of Corujinhas use to tell me if you think the gay saunas make money, you need to see a female sauna, there are lots more of them and make about 10 times more. Straight guys are less frugal than gays, I know this from listening to stories of straight friends that go to Rio and I hear what they spend ....and that's when I think how lucky I am to be gay, lol
