You should definitely branch out a bit! I’ve been to over 80 countries, and for a while I just kept running back to Thailand and Brazil on repeat. Still love them, but now I try to fit in a new destination each trip. Tomorrow it’s Argentina for the first time, then Uruguay and Paraguay before heading to my old reliable Brazil—where, of course, I’ll miss the mythical Namazu and @Latbear4blk by a few days, and depart just before @Mavica lands. In October I’m mixing in some new spots in India before looping back through Manila, BKK/Pattaya, Bali, and Jakarta… where I’m hoping to catch up with a few people—and gracefully dodge a few others. 😏

With or without the pill?

You work 😳

There’s definitely a lot of sticky rice, especially in certain circles… but thankfully the potato queens are around too 😁. I always joke with my Asian friends who say they’re shy or conservative—that may be true in public, but behind closed doors or in a dark room, they’re up for everything

For those that haven't been to Bali, Bule = Farang 😉 Sounds like a hot party, I'll have to be on the lookout for something like that next time....🙏

Their seatmap online will show if that flight has eDreams seats in Business or not

The way you balance nightlife and hotel lobby life is an Olympic sport. 🥇🍹

So not only hotel room size....🤔

Business or Economy? Copa runs an all-737 fleet. In Business Class, it’s 2x2 lie-flat seating; in Economy, it’s the usual 3x3, which can get uncomfortable on longer flights. Service is generally punctual (weather permitting). Meals are basic in both cabins — nothing to rave about — but they do serve guayaba-pineapple juice, which I like a lot. The crews are usually young, professional, and friendly. You’ll probably be one of the few gringos onboard. Flights to Southern South America often arrive and depart at odd hours, so plan ahead with hotel check-ins and check-outs. I’m heading to Argentina on Copa this Tuesday in Business; if you buy early, their fares are usually very reasonable. Connections in Panama (PTY): Panama is an easy hub to connect through, but if you arrive in one terminal and depart from the other, be ready for a long walk. Hopefully your gates are close. Lounge & Airport Notes: The Copa Club is large, with free drinks, but the food options are weak — mostly bread, not much protein. PTY has plenty of duty-free shops, and if you’re buying cologne, try negotiating; sometimes they’ll “remember” a promotion. Also, PTY has a lot of hot passengers passing through — soccer teams, gymnastics teams, etc. — so plenty of eye candy if you like people-watching. For check-in and Brazil immigration don’t forget to print out two copies of your visa, one Brasil immigration supposed to keep the other is for you. Did I leave anything out?

The apps/sites pretty much made the "after sauna" hunting for clients a thing of the past. I've been back since, no one from those days remain working there now, however 6 years ago 2 or 3 of the same waiters were there, I'd go by once a trip to eat, drink and show some old pictures to them and laugh about the old times.... I originally was going to say about 3 years ago, but when looking for the pics I took, found it was 6 years ago....wtf, where does the time go 🥺 -
Killing 2 birds with 1 stone?

So I guess you're going to let him stay at your place after all.... just be careful of the balcony and your neighbors.
-
I'll draw a diagram next time 😂
-
As apps have become more predominant, so would that problem.... you left out the friends possibility, or we just going with they have no friends😝
-
I still prefer SP.... I'm a city guy not much for beach towns, except Bali.
-
Def not him, he's just a nice guy though..... I don't have issue with the word no. He's not sending the money to landlords, etc..., they're giving him cash, no big amounts, to send to themselves so they in turn can send it to whoever they're trying to send money to, usually a gf or wife, lol
-
Are these 2 because of his fondness of seamen ?
-
I did go to a room and he is a little dramatic at times 🙄

yours or someone else's?

I liked Tap Na cara more... but this is his favorite place, at the moment. I think it's mostly for lack of gringos.... https://x.com/carlosdasi64195?lang=en
